A very tiny bakery with lots of good stuff! They also have bed and breakfast place. I do believe they deserve a five star rating, service is very friendly, food is good. And if you want to sit outside and enjoy the morning sun, they have that area for you. If you're visiting the State parks, don't forget to check this place out.

Great find! This cute little bakery is of the beaten path, but well worth the extra navigation. It is part of a B&B in a residential neighborhood. They have a shady green courtyard with bistro tables to enjoy coffee and Danish with a friend. The baked goods definitely had a breakfast slant when we were there. Danish, pecan rolls, cinnamon buns, lemon bars, and lots more. There were also some homemade breads. We tried the pecan roll. It was definitely fresh and soft with the ooey gooey center that everyone loves. It was not too sweet which I liked. We got a couple cookies to go and they were a great treat later in our day.

Excellent coffee!!! Cute little place with nice staff. It was crowded on an early Saturday morning. They were out of several items by 900 am. The bakery items were okay. We had the almond croissant which was too sweet and not crispy or flaky. The courtyard is a beautiful setting; mountain view.

I've been there multiple times over the past few years. Literally one of the best Bakeries in Arizona and has beat out some of the long standing bakeries I used to go to in Phoenix/Scottsdale. In regards to Ambiance, a very small town feel, old building that has been refurbished with a B&B and bakery in the back. More of a place to get your croissant/pastry and leave than a place to sit and eat but they have outdoor seating which on a clear day in mild weather is quite pleasant. They're always busy with a line out the door in the early mornings but they always provide excellent service with a smile and do what they can to keep things moving despite the high demand for their breakfast treats. Their pecan cinnamon rolls are soo good and the feta/spinach croissants even better. Obviously those are my favorite things there but I'm biased. The other food is good as well, actually had lunch there with a friend, their sandwiches were quite good as well. Any time I have peers come down and visit I always recommend they get a cinnamon roll or croissant from this place.

If you are ever driving through Safford, this is a must stop!Cottage Bakery is a local bakery, adjacent to a bed and breakfast, making fresh baked goods from different breads to homemade cinnamon and pecan rolls. They are tucked in the back next past a quaint courtyard. Although they have a private parking lot, it is quite small. The business hours of the bakery are Tue-Fri 7am-1pm, Sat 8am-1pm, and they are closed Sun and Mon. Be sure to try to get there early when they have all their goodies in stock. The closer you arrive towards 1pm, the fewer the selection. They also have select fresh baked breads depending on the day of the week. You can call ahead of time if you have a special order. Additionally, they serve different espresso and non-coffee based drinks. You can grab a fresh croissant and latte for breakfast.Another neat feature that really intrigued me was that they sell fresh, local free-range, cage-free eggs by the dozen. It's nice to see the local comradery and support. You really can't go wrong with any of the baked goods here. I bought a vanilla latte, spinach and feta croissant and homemade cinnamon roll. It was the best thing I've eaten in awhile, especially baked goods! The croissant was so flaky and filled with a lovely balance of the feta and spinach. The cinnamon roll and its icing were not overly sweet and the notes of cinnamon and nutmeg came out beautifully with each bite. I wish I had stocked up on all the baked goods but that just means I'll have to stop by the next time I'm in the area. This place is a must try for anyone visiting or driving through! Stop in for fresh baked goods with friends or treat yourself to something tasty. You won't be disappointed!

Crispy, flakey and buttery authentic croissants! I come here at least once a week to get my pastry fix. If you want plain croissants you have to special order two days in advance other wise you can get a nice ham/cheese, almond, chocolate or spinach croissant ready to go.
