Corralito Steak House

Ohhhh this place had the potential however, it fell short of our expectations. After reading some of the reviews it seemed like the place for us to eat.Our server came by and took our drinks and we could tell that there would be a language barrier. Her lack English and our lack of Spanish was not a good mix. We ordered an appetizer however, it was never delivered. It was possible since our server seemed to spend more time with other employees.Our meals arrived and to be honest we were all disappointed. The Filets were not good, the Ribeye not good and the burger too dry. We ate what we could and made a hasty exit. It was rather loud that evening and it was hard to hear everyone. Like I said the reviews liked promising but ultimately we left disappointed.

Great food great service! I hadTampiquena steak arrechera style. Very good and tender. I was disappointed with the melted cheese as they should have been "rajas" as pictured, but instead was just chopped green Chile laid on top. It came out after we were served our steaks, so it got cold and wasn't very good. , But the steak was great! Make Shure you state what side you want, since we weren't asked, so we only go beans. I recommend this place, good atmosphere!

Definitely not a place for a good steak. This place was really busy but judging by what I ordered, this can't be the driving force of the crowd. This was the thinnest steak I've seen in Texas. It was dry and overcooked. I don't have plans to return unless someone reccomends what is popular here. I waited an hour for my food. All I can say is I watched this pretty bartender move a 100mph. She deserves a raise! She did not stop moving the 2hrs I was there. I felt so bad for her. A couple coworkers stopped by talking to her or maybe helping her by the smallest fraction but she kept up her pretty smile, checking on customers at the bar checking on the bar patrons food making drinks for the entire restaurant all by herself. The restaurant was packed full. I gave her a big tip just to let her know I appreciate the effort. Ambiance was your typical steak house.

The rib was good and juice and just right medium rare. The mashed potatoes was delicious. The only negative comment I have is that fresh bread rolls were not offered at the onset. I had to ask and waiter only brought one roll for the table of 5 people. He gave an excuse, but I felt that as our waiter he should advocated for our table. We ate chips and salsa, but a fresh warm roll with the rib eye would have been nice.He was in training and didn't have answers for us when asked. He had to ask someone for clarification. He was nice, but in training. The other item I want to mention is the manager that was standing around just "keeping an eye on our table". If he was the manager, he did not come over and greet or ask how things were, he was just hovering around with a sour face. The other item was the there was a $5 charge for using a credit card which we were never told about & neither did we see a sign posted about the fee.There is nothing extraordinary about this decor or ambience. This was a first time, and I think the last.

Completely disappointed. We have ordered and visited every Corrlito location. We've always been pleased. Today we ordered a pint of salsa and chips to go. I called to place the order. Was put on hold and hung up on. Called back, same result. Third time the person that answered did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish, they hung up on me. Finally after 5 attempts my husband just went to the restaurant and ordered. When he arrived home and we opened the chips it was like we got the bottom of the bag. All tiny broken chips and crumbs. Not pleased at all.

Corralito Steakhouse on Airway Blvd is close to El Paso Airport. I visited during the work week one afternoon, and I was surprised to see they have grilled steak fajitas at half price for Happy Hour between 4 and 7 p.m. I experienced courteous customer service, and the food was okay. It was not my usual outstanding Corralito experience, but I look forward to returning during different business hours. This establishment is beautifully decorated and is spacious for groups.

Poor Service very low energy not friendly staff. Never again. Ask for medium steak got a well done steak. They did remake the steak but the attitude and Service was extremely poor not very good atmosphere.

Service is slow here. I had to actually ask for a waiter after 20 minutes. Did not come to order drinks, said we would get chips and salsa and none. I don't see the how so many reviews rate the e for place as so great. While enjoy the place the music is loud, if I come to a place for steak I do t want the music that loud and that can't have conversation.I must say when the food came it was excellent, just wish the service was that way. The waiter that had to step up and take our order came back and apologized, thank you

The steak & queso fundido never disappoint! The service can be hit or miss, which is what keeps it from being 5 stars.

First time visiting this location, we waited 15 mins at our table and no one came to attend us. I will not be going back.
