After Mass, we stopped by and this place did a good job of filling our bellies. We waited a little bit at the entrance, but in the morning they have soft drinks and pony beers in a barrel of ice. It wasn't long before we were received and shown to our table. Marisela took our drink and food orders and got us some tostada's and some sauce. The avocado chile sauce and fire roasted salsa were both delicious. I ordered a sirloin tampiqueña, which came with avocado salad, refried beans, an enchilada rojo, and nopal salad. It was pretty good.Liz ordered the sirloin tacos, and the kids had Mac and cheese, and chicken strips. Liz also enjoyed a n Margie, which was made with your nontraditional citrus , maybe hint of fresh squeezed orange. It was smooth and not over powering. The manager, Marti, checked on us and made sure we were doing okay. The food was great, and the service was friendly but slower than one would expect from this level of restaurant. My water wasn't refilled. I think they could do better, but just be aware and measure your expectations.

Ate here for the first time yesterday during their lunch hours specials (11am-3pm). The lunch hour menu items offered were under $15 and they were full size meals, satisfying my friend who was starving. Prices on the regular menu were around $20 bucks except for the steaks which were in the price range of close to $30 & $40 depending on the cut. Prices are comparable to Applebees & Chilis nowadays or Olive Garden. Then again, have you gone to Burger King/McDonalds/Wendys etc? If you order a large combo meal you are looking at close to $13 for fast food. I don't know about you but I rather eat at an actual restaurant. The food was really good. The melted queso with rajas was so goooood. Enough for 3 people with some left over. My husband enjoyed his steak lunch special, couldn't finish the whole meal though due to the queso tacos we stuffed our faces with! I had the lunch special tacos and they were good but could have used a little more fat or flavor, the meat was a little dry. My friend had the lunch enchiladas and he wiped the plate clean, truly enjoyed them. The sweet tea got the approval rating of both my husband and friend and the lemonade I ordered was refreshing and homemade! My favorite. The ambiance was nice, relaxing. The restaurant was clean, plenty of sitting room. They have another section separated by swinging doors that is the bar area. The outside has a children's playground which I found pretty neat. Let's parents enjoy their meal because the kids can use up their wild energy playing outside. The service was slow but it was just our waiter. The other two waiters working were hustling and actually took the time to help us out when our waiter was MIA (Missing in Action). All in all, I will definitely swing by this restaurant anytime I leave Cloudcroft and come down to El Paso. Aside from the service from our waiter, everything about this restaurant was A-OK with me.

First of all, they ask people to leave Google reviews and think that people are not going to look on Yelp. Everyone knows that Google reviews are fake. The food was okay, but the service was awful. There were 3 large parties that took up half the room. The rest of the people were left with very slow service. What happened to this place? The service has gone down the drain. There was a horrible sewer smell that permeated the outside and made its way inside. This was our last attempt and hope that they would have gotten better.

Food was not worth the wait or price. We went Friday around 5pm not crowded had some covers. We ordered an app of queso fundido, was good. My first time there so far so good. I asked for the drinks menus, they said there was nothing on tap OK, I ordered a Guinness. We order the arrachera taco plate. Things slowing went down hill in the kitchen. It took a whole 1st quarter and half in to the 2nd of basketball to bring out a steak and masked potatoes. Fine I'll wait for good food. We didn't take pic because my wife and I were hungry and always share a steak. My steak was cut into tiny pieces all well done, Couldn't taste or tell what cut it was. Mash was bland. A jalapeño toriado and sautéed onions, Paid 19.99 in ELP, Tx. Things happen can always either not come back or order something different next time. Anyone deserves a second chance. When I got the bill there was a .99$ mix drink tax. I was like that's stealing. Whatever! I mentioned it to the young waiter, no fault on him. He replied with the reason was, "you use you bank card. The government taxes you a 3-5% transactions charge, it's the law".That's when I politely checked him. I told him, no, that is no law that's a transactional fee from the bank. I told him not to worry I still took care of him. Soap box time! A great or good businesses usually attaches that tax so it isn't obvious on the bill, but the mix drink tax for a bottled beverage? I want to curse here so bad but I don't want to piss off the management. I am not recommending nor will I come back. Please do better for your employees and community's sake.

Still remember this and cannot forget. Seems service has improved but still don't trust the owner for his policies.

Whelp...guess Santa was in the kitchen today. Coal for lunch with Reindeer pee margaritas (the worst I've had in my entire life--I live in Denver, CO).

What is an authentic steak house like? Corralito's. Took my two young adult granddaughters here for dinner. Two of us had Corralito's cut steak, cooked perfectly and so tender. Other grand had ribs and was very satisfied. It's a lovely place with a long history in the valley. Our server took time to explain the cuts of meat and was otherwise attentive to our needs.

Corralitos is a very pricey restuarant; food is lousy & service is appauling. My steak had a wooden stick inside; luckily I didn't choke! The tortilla soup was beyond horrible; tomato soup with a mt. of tortilla strips thrown on top. It had a bad flavor profile. My sister had a "marbled" steak that was at least 50% heavy fat, very little meat. We ordered baked potatoes but got mashed potatoes but since the waiter was nowhere to be found, we were stuck with something we didn't order. The dressing for the salads was awful, something from a grocery store aisle. The waiter was so hard to find, we considered going into the kitchen after waiting more than 20 mins. for him to surface (more than once). The manager was busing tables and was too busy to assist us. There is clearly a lack of service personell available on the floor & in the kitchen. I will not return.
