I booked for a trim and color (salt and pepper) my hair was brassy when I went in. I showed the girl a picture and I said I don't want that blonde color in my hair. I came out more blonde than salt and pepper. after a week it's more brassy. I have been trying to speak to the manager and she won't call me back. I went down there and she wouldn't come out to talk to me especially knowing I was an unhappy client. I paid over $150. dollars. this is poor service. I don't like to do this to anybody or any business but if you don't work on making a mistake and try to make it right then you really don't care.

Super friendly! I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door and was offered water (that had lemon and basil infused in it) or coffee. There was no waiting around as I was seated at Jessica's chair right away. She listened to what I wanted and made sure i liked it before she finished. She politely made a few changes when I had asked her to trim a little more off the bottom I will definitely be going back!

I had a quote for $150 for low/ high light and cut and style. The color is really pretty but you can see the difference from regrown top from the old color on the bottom a bit too much. More highlights would have fixed that and I wasn't shown a color swatch sample what she was going to use. I would have asked for a lighter low light as well. My styleist was really nice and did a nice under layered angle cut. I like it but haven't tried to do it myself yet. I was charged $185. I was pretty shocked considering the $150 quote.I just paid. Definitely too expensive for what was done. But overall I would just speak up from now on. I hate having to though.

I've been coming to Cassidy for two years. On my first visit she had to rescue my hair from a disaster at another salon. She did an amazing job and worked with me to get my hair back to what it should be and fix all the damage that had been inflicted. Since then she has been great. Very thorough - great knowledge of color. I'm now here for the first time since COVID and they are doing everything right. Masks, disinfecting and distancing. But the best thing was hearing Cassidy, who is young and healthy, tell me she isn't going anywhere except work and home so that she doesn't put her clients at risk.

The first time I went to the Colour Bar was a great experience! The stylist Shyanne that did my color and haircut was one of the best EVER! It is hard to get an appointment there with the owner and other long term employee. I was in a crunch and the only available stylist was their new apprentice that was a receptionist there before. It was the WORST haircut I have ever had! My hair is uneven and looks terrible. I do not think that a salon with the reputation they have should have an employee like that working there. I am very upset and have never written a yelp review but I think people should know the quality has gone way down. I am hoping for a refund.

My hair cut was no where close to what I asked her to do. i went to someone else and she couldn't even fix it unless she cut my hair very shor. I will have to wait for my hair to grow out. Worst experience of my life. Good thing I didn't get color.

I love colour bar! I've been going to this salon for about 4 years. I'm never disappointed in the cut or color. I started using the products they recommended which has changed my hair drastically! No more tangles or broken ends. It is also very shiny and more manageable. I was initially put off by the price of these products but a little goes a long way! Totally worth it.

Owner with somebody's money to spend!! DO NOT GO!! They will put you with a junior stylist without telling you!!! I just got my hair done and I'm not happy with it. I'm not a very confrontational person and I get very well there is junior stylist. Besides all that I was never told I was going to have a junior stylist during my hair consultation, booking, and the day of my appt. I wanted peekaboo highlights for my hair. I provided pictures of them in the front of my hair for face framing highlight therefore when I put my hair up you could see them, which was not the same in the 4 pictures I provide. My roots were left untouched with a line of orange in them. Made a huge mistake and missed colored my hair, ended up going home with 3 different shades of blond and not the color white which they said they could achieve, that I had asked for. On top of that leaving the color purple in the back of my head saying "it should fade in a day or so" (still hasn't 3 days after, so I asked a friend who use to style hair and told me to do something completely different because it would not come out in its own. I asked again in the process if I could do the face framing pieces, she proceeded to tell me "I'm not sure if that'll work with what you're wanting to do but will see how it turn out and show me the picture again" never happened because of the hair mistake that had taken place. I did want her opinion on it considering she's supposed to be the professional who went to school for it. I did not feel heard. The boss/teacher wasn't even observing her students work, only when the problem I had occur was she paying attention. Got charge $160 for "ombré" got a batched job of hightlights worth less than $50! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!

I paid $240 for a haircut (really ended up being a mere trim job) and hair color, which ended up being too dark and almost ALL of the color CAME OUT of my hair during my FIRST shampoo, even though I used products for colored hair!! I've NEVER SPENT SO MUCH MONEY IN MY LIFE for such a LOUSY job! And when I called the owner, who had been the one who did my hair, she did NOT even offer to color again! I will NEVER go back to this salon, and I tell ALL my physician colleagues, family and friends NOT to go there!
