Cliffside at Mountain Park

My family moved into these apartments less than six months ago. First, the pictures do not even come close to what you get. The whole complex follows the landlord's special rules. At least once a week (sometimes more), they shut the water off. This is a long-standing issue, as per the other reviews. No hot water for bathing. Repairs have not been met promptly ( pending months now, including many safety issues). What repairs are completed are terrible (for example, Drywall just screwed to the ceiling to cover a water leak from upstairs). When asked about repairs and numerous safety issues, excuses but nothing being done (including not using a bedroom due to broken windows and flooding). My family has asked several times about the flooding and black mold, but that has yet to be tested or addressed. Before you make your customary rebuttal statement, repairs have been brought to management's attention several times, including in writing. Minimal of these repairs have been made. There is no excuse for your tenants' lack of care, safety, and concern. I have contacted the city for an inspection on these issues and will seek legal assistance. I have uploaded photos taken yesterday of requested repairs pending since Nov. Notice the water damage and rot on the front door, which is too small for the opening. I can stick at the minimum of a finger around the door jam. The entry is so damaged and rotten that it is falling apart. Painters could not even complete the job to the ceiling. The Drywall was just screwed to the top; no effort was made to make the apartment presentable. Evidence of the door kicked in and just painted over. The outside light does not work and barely hangs onto the wall. Renting to families with children, and you feel this is a good move in status? Yes, they received all of these issues upon moving in! You should be ashamed of yourself and how you treat your tenets. When the problems are pointed out, you then call the tenets liars, treat them rudely, and makeup completed work orders for items that have not been met. When doing the math yesterday, from all the emails about the water being shut off by management, it has been 25% of the time my family has lived there. Instead of looking into the issues, try fixing them. It will save you much time and raise your rating.

Horrible apartments. They messed up our application amd we found out TWO DAYS before moving in. We were given another apartment which was disgusting. Bird feces and feathers on top of the kitchen cabinets, sink broken, dishwasher not connected, moldy water backed up into the tub connected to my bedroom, rain leaking into my closet through the light switch, rain leaking from door frame, ac ended up leaking into upstairs bedroom, ended up leaking downstairs into the living room...the carpet was soaked EVERYWHERE. We got sick from the mold and are still dealing with illness. This place deserves to be completely shit down by the city. It's disgusting and the office was not at all friendly or helpful. We have recordings of them telling us they were​ NOT going to fix the issues. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Seeing the prior reviews would give one pause - but I happened to go by and found out the place was recently acquired by a new management company - the showed me a nice unit and Patty in office could not be nicer. I spoke to my new neighbors who told me the prior people were terrible but current follow have really cleaned up place and fixed a lot of problems. I have no problem recommending!!

I would give this place 0 stars but that isn't an option, the leasing office manager is rude and unprofessional, they do not make repairs properly, got the door replaced due to dry rot and there is a 3 inch gap at the bottom. The window next to the door is rotted as well making the support beam loose and about to fall off. The stove has a massive dent in the side, had to get the refrigerator replaced due to lack of care and it falling apart. leasing office plays favorites with its tenants and kicks people out due to rules that they've made up just because they don't like the tenant or the tenants dogs, very unprofessional place. A motel 6 is run better than these apartments. They will also charge you more then what your lease states and then charge you for their fuck up and blame it on you. PLEASE DO NOT LIVE IN THESE APARTMENT!!!!

this is one of the best apartments I've been the apartments are great and theres a washing area and a pool + a dog park I suggest coming here if you live in El Paso and trying to find a apartment.
