Clasico Kitchen Bar

Quick meetup with a friend who recommended Clasico Kitchen, and though we didn't try anything special, it was a good lunch stop.I had the chicken fajita tacos for lunch. It was the special of the day, which is different every day. The chicken was great, the avocado chile salsa was nice and spicy.Service was very good. Two servers were consistently checking to see if we needed anything. They have a full bar, but on this visit no special drinks. Others looked to be enjoying their drinks, hard or soft.It was a good visit and the food was great

The food is very good over here. I used to frequent the food truck many years ago when the owner was just getting started. The establishment is small but inviting. The only knock is that the music playing is WAYYYYYY too loud for the area and service was very slow. I do not like having to get up and ask for a refill of tea. It's a little pricey for Mexican food but great clamatoes and full bar available.

This is for the location on Zaragoza Rd. I had high hopes for this place. The aesthetics of this place is cute and fun, however the food on the other hand is a different story. The only thing that was great was our server Andrea! She was great, friendly, and very helpful. We started off with the toro eggs and is supposedly supposed to be a favorite. It looks good but we were very disappointed that we didn't even finish it. The bacon was crispy but the filling inside is flavorless. We also got the appetizer sampler and holy cow it came with a ton of food! The only thing about that was all of it was pretty plain and bland. We also got the chicken fajitas tacos as well as the arrachera tacos and sirloin tacos. The good thing about this place that they didn't put on the menu is that you can mix and match tacos! The chicken was flavorless as well as the arrachera. The arrachera seemed overcooked and was hard to chew. The sirloin was okay, it had some flavor but also seemed a little overcooked as well. We also got a side of fries, which is probably the only thing I liked from what we ordered.

Had 2 waiters . Dont know if one was new and the other learning how to take orders. Runs out of drink options. Soda was flat. Waited 30 minutes and my food was cold.

Food was great, as well as the service. Salsa was outstanding. I will definitely return again for lunch!

In El Paso on business and stopped by Clasico off a recommendation from a coworker. This place is pretty damn good. I ordered a the Chuky fries as an appetizer and the arrachera tacos. Be careful ordering appetizers here as they give you enough to feed a small village in Africa! Both the appetizer and the entree were great, and the arrachera was very flavorful. Make sure to come here on an empty stomach because the portion sizes are HUGE! Easy on the wallet and the waitstaff were helpful and very friendly. Happy eating, my foodies!

I was wanting to love this place. It was dog friendly and the night we went had cool breeze for outside seating. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the evening. Now I know this is probably not their fault unless they feed it, but there was a stray cat walking around. Not good when you have a dog. Lol. But I'm happy they let dogs even sit outside. Once greeted the food came out really fast. Unfortunately when this happens the first thing I think about is the product isn't made to order. For an appetizer we got the toro eggs. The bacon was fine as it's hard to mess that up but the jalapeño was incredibly chewy. Item was warm. I ordered the chicken fajitas tacos. Basically it's a bed of 4 corn tortilla with earlier made chunks of chicken with a few slightly grilled green onions. It did not taste good. It was crazy bland. They do give some dips so that helped. I ended up forgetting about the tortillas as they fell apart due to the wetness. I'm thinking the container they store the chicken in and they scooped too much liquid out with the chicken. Meal was cold. Wife got the mushroom tacos. She said they were sautéed in oil but no seasoning at all. No salt. No pepper. Basically you get cooked mushrooms and a tortilla. Nothing else. I would avoid eating outside. As soon as we got our food. We were greeted by no less than 30 flies. I get it, I'm outside, what should I expect. All I'm doing is warning you, if you sit outside, you will regret it.

What a disappointment. We ordered our usual sirloin tacos. I ordered a baked potato and my husband ordered a side of rice. The sirloin was dry and appeared to be leftover and reheated. The corn tortillas must have been on the counter and the cook thought if I put them under the meat they would get moist. They were so dry I had a hard time swallowing them. I did ask for fresh tortillas. The baked potato came out hard as a rock which the cook was aware of because they had to cut it open to put butter on it. I asked for another potato and it was softer in the middle but hard on the sides. At 2:00 in the afternoon you would think they would have soft potatoes already made. My husband also said his rice was dry. I was shocked at how bad the food was as we have been to the restaurant many times. I doubt that we will come back.

The food is pretty decent here, but let's be honest, you're not coming here for the food. You're coming here for the Clamatos. Hands down the absolute best in El Paso, a ton of options, and FINALLY one that's ACTUALLY spicy. One Clamato has enough mix for two beers, easily.

Read good reviews so went by for lunch. Website says opens at noon as does the sign on the door. Got there at 12:35 lights and TVs on but doors locked and nobody visible knocked repeatedly and waited for 5 minutes, but no response very disappointing.
