Like the city from which it arose, Chico's cuisine is a hodgepodge, a potpourri, a mixed bag, a glorious gallimaufry of flavors that in its presentation and arrangement, serves as a metaphor for the local culture.Want tacos? Sure - but they come rolled up like Mexican flautas in a red sauce topped with shredded American cheese on which you can add New Mexican green chile sauce. Want a hot dog? You got it - the weenie comes sliced up inside a hamburger bun with chili, mustard, onions - your classic chili dog components. Fries? Crinkly and delicious.Security guard inside because it can get a little rowdy here late at night? Check.If you come to El Paso, come to Chico's. It is the first stop for returning natives, and the last stop of a great night out on the town.

This is a childhood classic for me, every time I'm back in town I come out and enjoy it multiple times, I like this location it's clean, fast and bathrooms are clean Food is delicious and the chicos vibes are like no other Some of my fav items are traditional taquitos in sauce, fries, stew burritos, jumbo hot dogs and the burgers are great

When you're in the mood for something specific, it's worth the stop....hotdog, jumbo burger, fries and tacos

I'm from California and I was born and raised in El Paso. So, I've been going to Chicos since the 70's. It's still a great place to eat and the food is still delicious as it's always been. However, it's crazy expensive and I can spend less on a better Mexican meal. I could not believe the 31$ bill for two. We went L&J the next day and spent about 4$ less for a way better meal. Sorry Chicos but you raised your prices so high that it looks like you've lost some customers. Definitely won't be going to Chicos on any of my return trips to El Paso.

OMG- so went back to the 915 for a short visit. Straight off the plane- 10:30 am- where did we go? CHICOS baby!!! Those rolled tacos with crispy fries and of course a diet- is to die for. My SIL has never been to EP and wanted him to experience what the natives all rave about. We did have to show him how to use his fork to pick up the tacos and spread that delish green sauce on them. There's nothing better than coming back to EP after 8 yrs and heading over to one of the places that make EP great.

This place refuses to answer their phones. They're Lazy and sloppy. Owner needs to get rid of these people who don't want to work by simply answering the phone and taking an order. Montwood location is horrible!!

Since Chico's Tacos is an El Paso tradition, we decided to stop by with some family for their first time. It was also my first time in more than two years. We pulled the best kind of stop - a late night one.I had the King Size Hot Dog and a Single Order of Tacos. As always, it was delicious and comforting. Now granted, these tacos are a unique twist on Mexican dishes, so it may not be what you expect. Additionally, I did have difficulty explaining to my cousin what exactly are Chico's tacos.But nonetheless, it definitely is a unique experience for something you can only find in El Paso.

Loved by the city this restaurant in particular the food always comes out hot & tasty. The staff are very friendly however the music can be loud most times.

Clean restaurant, unique, local experience.SINGLE ORDER:These are the rolled flautas or taquitos in a bath of watered down tomato sauce & topped with shredded cheese. The flavor is a hard 7/10. They could stand to reduce the sauce bath by about 50% because the soggier the tacos get, the messier they become. And it's not like the sauce "makes" the dish. It's more of a complement.KING HOT DOG:This is a split chili dog in burger format with pickles & mustard. Uniquely tasty & expectedly difficult to keep together. I ditched the top bun & folded the bottom part like a taco b/c it was too much bread for me.SERVICE:Polite & expeditious for a Sunday afternoon.I recommend Chico's Tacos for those seeking experience & tradition or a cure for their hangover.

Cash only, there are charges for getting taco sauce on take away orders. No free refills on soda. Too many restrictions.
