Omg Omg Omg !! I LOOOOOOOVE this place !!! THIS is my happy place. We're travelers and have some pretty cool stuff in the 11 states we have visited but this was my favorite. Their stuff is so cool and cheap ! For $300 bucks I got a side table, (oh when we opened the drawer it said V.W.Holzer Ft.Stockton TX. I remembered the Holzer Files and thought omg is it him. No lol) a old Drs. Bag, 5 uranium ice cream bowls, a old French shaver with blades and box. Some cool free postcards and little gifts !! If I lived near here I would want to hang out with the 2 owners. They're amazing peeps !! They were absolute sweethearts ! If I could give this place 50 stars I would. What an experience!!! I've been antiquing for years and gone to antique stores all over the country and this is hands down my favorite. The owners, Russ and Guy, are fantastic (hilarious, too!) they are sooo knowledgeable about every last thing in the store and learning all the history behind all their goodies was awesome. Possibly the best antiques anywhere and with a few years we were there February 2011. The items we bought including a big rock. It is former log. Also a few items of rare jewelry and Indian old items. We need to go back there. It is a definite must for traveling to. I Bend but go on the weekend. These owners get great rocks too

This was the best experience anyone could ask for. They weren't afraid to show you anything behind the counter and fully let you try it all on. Along with viewing everything they had extensive knowledge on every piece which left me wanting to buy the whole store! I couldn't recommend this place enough. 10/10. A slice of heaven in west Texas.

A true HIDDEN GEM! They have a huge wide variety of antiques, treasures and crystals that are AFFORDABLE! I could spend hours here, and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Russ for your time, educating information, and hospitality!

I'm in Alpine for the weekend, visiting some family. I was looking up places to shop when the Cheshire Cat Antiques came up, so I decided to give it a try since I had some time to kill. I will be returning :) they have such a wonderful collection of items, ranging from furniture, to tea cup sets, to vintage Rodeo posters. One could easily spent hours there. I found a cute vintage skirt and a pair of chandelier earrings at a great price! Only $20 for the set!The owner Russ was very kind, and knowledgeable about all of his items, as well as the town of Alpine.I can't wait to return.

This place is a gem! My husband and I happened upon it on our way to Malfa and its quaint Texas style yard lured us in. They had some beautiful stones out front.We bought some rings, antlers and hat shaped items.Its a family run place with very nice people. I would recommend to everyone

Was traveling through and stopped in to find some treasure from Texas. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The store has all kinds of unique finds. Be sure to have time to really enjoy stepping back in time Texas style.

Such a GEM!!Very friendly locals curating this lovely collection of dishes, collectibles, hats,boots - a bit of everything really. They know a lot about the area and are also very resourceful for any info you need. Very community minded and friendly. Fair prices and beautiful items. The store is a joy to stroll through and you never know what you will find. I always make it a point to visit while in Alpine. It's a must visit.
