I am so glad to have a Cheba Hut in El Paso! This is one of my favorite sub shops with unique offerings and I am a big fan of a toasted sub. Cheba Hut has come a long way since its humble beginnings, the full bar in the Sunland Park location is large and inviting. And there is plenty of seating outside of the bar as well. The patio is huge and covered and even includes cornhole boards. I ordered a White Widow (my fave!) Nug (4") on Garlic Herb bread. It was SO GOOD.. the quality is consistent. and the service was awesome.

New location to El Paso! Was very yummy. Good prices and staff was extremely friendly. Has a bar inside and a really nice patio area. Artwork is very enjoyable to look at while eating! :)

So I thought I would give this place a try since they just opened. I park my car and go inside and order. While I'm waiting for my sandwich, I'm watching all the action behind the counter. There's at least 7 people making sandwiches and the one guy is going on and on about them running out of going to make kool-aid? Apparently, they aren't trained in making The laziest bunch of employees I have ever seen. Needless to say, I watched at least 12 people that came after me getting their food and going on about their day. I couldn't wait any longer and requested a refund and bounced. I'll never know if the food was good or not because I won't be going back. I'll stay with McAllister. Do better.

Good sub, but kinda small for the price. Great service and cool atmosphere. We did the bomb and canna. Great flavor well prepared and different than other subs. But thought it would be over flowing with meat and veggies for the price and based on pics.

I recently discovered this place (Saturday night) and was very impressed by the quality of food. In fact, after such positive experience, I returned the following day (Sunday), unfortunately , to have the opposite experience. I ordered the PowerPlant sandwich- which was missing the avocado and had an excuse amount of hummus on it (as if it was wasabi on sushi). Anyway, I brought this to the attention of a worker, who simply gave me attitude; as if I was somehow asking for additional toppings free of charge. Totally disappointed by the lack of customer service and quality of sandwich I received. You are better off going to subway. At least there you get the toppings on your sandwich as they are advertised on the menu. And more importantly, cheaper and attitude free!

The food was good. It's a cute place with a cannabis theme. A bit pricey in my opinion for two sandwiches and one drink, but everything is expensive these days. Good for an occasional lunch out.

Let's talk about Nathan. Nathan makes subs at Cheba Hut. But Cheba Hut also serves salads. This afternoon I went to Cheba Hut with my daughter and we ordered two salads. The guy on the cash register seemed inexperienced and unsure, but rang us up. As I'm still standing at the counter, I can hear him and Nathan talking, and Nathan says he rang it up wrong-- he rang it up as subs, not salads. And he says it *dripping* with attitude. Ok, so guy apologizes to him, and Nathan spouts off some more, and emphatically states, "I'm making sandwiches!" I assume they will get their act together and I walk away. BUT HE MAKES SANDWICHES (subs). Now, he *knows* we didn't order sandwiches. He *knows* we ordered salads. I heard him say it. But like a petulant child, he decides to make sandwiches (subs) anyway. After an unusually long wait, the cash register guy comes out with two bowls with some lettuce in them, and two subs. And cheerfully tries to tell us we are getting "both!" We're "getting salads AND subs!" NO. No we are not! We now have to scrape the contents of the subs into the bowls with lettuce and somehow this is what we paid for. Because Nathan threw a temper-tantrum. Not because there was any misunderstanding. Nathan knew what the order was supposed to be. I heard him start the argument. He just refused to make it. He didn't care about us, the customers, AT ALL. I hope your temper tantrum was worth it, Nathan, because I have shared this review directly with your company and will post it elsewhere.

We ordered elaborate sandwiches, it was crowded so we began the wait time, at first it was about 40 minutes watching everyone else getting their sandwiches. We decided to ask about our order and the cashier told us they were making it. Then we began to wait again for much longer and saw more sandwiches go by and finally we asked the manager where ours were. He then went to the kitchen and brought ours out finally and said our sandwiches were on the house. We went back home to eat and discovered the sandwiches were simple turkey sandwiches, that wasn't what we ordered at all. Need better training
