We had to come back! We have tried the jalapeño poppers and beef fajitas from the meat counter. They were both excellent. We ordered breakfast burritos and they were very good. Everything we have gotten here has been amazing!

Delicious as always. Chaviras is definitely one of my favorite places to get tacos. It reminds me of some bomb street tacos in Mexico. Some people make barbacoa way too greasy but Chaviras nails it every time.

I've been here many times throughout the years for shopping, but today I tried the menudo for takeout. The tripe was not fully cooked the way I like, so many pieces were too chewy. It took me a long time growing up to eat the tripe, so I'm picky. The soup and all the fixings were fine, especially the red chile. They have lots of other options, but on Sunday mornings I like menudo and was disappointed.

Awesome tacos! We have turned on at least a half dozen friends to this place...just for the birria tacos. Check 'em out! This is not a sit down restaurant...it is a take out joint.

Convenient food store off of Hwy 70 that serves burritos and other Mexican cuisine. There's a bakery shelf, meat section, ice cream/popsicles, snacks, nuts and beverages. Nice place for a quick bite.

Very helpful and friendly. The Chaviras tortilla chips are the best ever!!! A fantastic selection of Mexican grocery items.

Wanted to post this because I was put an uncomfortable situation as I was asked a very inappropriate and unprofessional question by a staff member. I was trying to buy my items while on the phone with my wife and she was trying to ask my several times and until I focused on what she was saying she then asked a question that harassed me and had nothing to do with the products I was purchasing and asked about my body. Stunned I just said no and walked out and she claimed it was harmless as she was 17. She was saying these things being 17 years old and underage attempting to make a move on an older married male. You've lost more than a customer. I highly recommend you have some type of customer service training to train staff about the seriousness of harassment and unwanted comments that are especially coming from an underage female. It's not okay to ask or approach anyone in that manner that is completely inappropriate, rude, and disrespectful. If roles were reversed as a male hitting on a underage person I would be in jail. Please instruct the red/pink haired 17 year old that people buying groceries is not the place at all to be disrespectful and making customers feel uncomfortable. I'd rather drive across town to avoid this kind of interaction or serious problems.

Never disappoints. Carne asada and deshebrada tacos are great. Rice was excellent. Chile relleno burrito on point.

All of the food is great. I have tried the menudo, gorditas, quesabirria tacos, chile relleno burritos, the chicharrón burritos, and the tripitas. We just keep coming back. The quality of the food is consistent, tasty 99% of the time. Highly recommend.

Love the store, it's super clean. Ordered menudos today, that was not good. Flavorless/bland. 4.29 for a small horchata. Next time I'll go across the street to mariachi's - even the bread is better there. The quesobirria tacos were good.
