Charlotte's Estate Sales handled my "downsizing" sale. She is knowledgeable and personable and put my fears to rest as she and her crew handled the set up and sale in a professional manner and treated me with respect. I loved the set up and the way they handled everything. My goal was to clear items and they did that BIG Time. It was successful in all aspects and I will definitely use them again when the need arises.

Charlotte did an amazing job with my estate sale. She always responds to calls/texts and she sold every single item in a 2 day sale! Made my life so much easier for preparing the home for sale. I highly recommend her!

I had a great experience with this estate company. I had to go out of town for a few weeks and was not going to be available for much but long distance communication. These guys took care of everything and even cleaned up what was left. I'm super grateful for them because otherwise my trip would've been cancelled. Well done guys! Worth every penny!

The owner seemed like a nice person, but had difficulty telling us that she didn't want to do our sale. We had both in person and phone communication and we were repeatedly told that she needed to round up resources to do the sale, but never got a target date for the actual sale. After hearing this numerous times and never getting any feedback that showed us that the sale was moving forward, we just had to assume that she didn't want to do the sale, but had a hard time saying, "no". I would rather have been told upfront that she wasn't interested. We wasted about 3 months time communicating with her.

This is my response to the owner after she responded to my first review: It's wasn't so much the service as it was your procedures: allowing you and your employees/contractors to buy items before they were priced, you and them get first pick on items before our customers do and at prices that all of you price them at; some would look at that as a conflict of interest, it can leave room for doubt and cause a trust issue. I agree that you and your staff work hard with cleaning, organizing, staging and pricing. Again, it's more so the procedures than the service. What I am saying about not having the bigger items, like the furniture, priced until an hour before the sale that same morning, may give the home owner the impression that you are doing that on purpose so there is no time for discussion regarding prices on the bigger items. Again, it can leave room for doubt.I feel like I did not interrupt any of your work. Yes, I think we all talked to each other but I cannot remember a time when I held up anyone. If anything, I was trying to be helpful and give information about something or I asked a about something.About the complete list and accounting of items sold, it was items written down by a couple cashiers with no page numbers on them. How can you account for each page if I don't get a copy after the first day's sale and then after the second day of the sale? Each page should be numbered at the very least. And the customer gets a copy of the list, you keep the original. Things can be changed on an original and you couldn't tell that on a copy that the customer gets. Again, it can become questionable if everything was or was not written down or if a page was lost or not added. What I am saying is there are ways to fix these procedures and they are easy fixes where the home owner would not have to question anything. This was my first estate sale that I have had where I wanted to sell my household items. I have been to estate sales in the past. Recently I have called other estate planners and some do not allow their employees to purchase items, some have printed out sales sheets, some finish all of their pricing by Thursday.Going through the chemo was not as bad as stressing out over the way this estate sale was handled. There were nights that I rarely slept because I was thinking about what was possibly going on. I will be writing a book and have gained a lot of useful information. It will contain questions for future Estate Sale customers to ask, that I didn't ask, and it will provide good advice on customer service. When I say customer service, I mean the homeowner, not the person who goes to buy at the sale, although they are the home owner and Estate Planner's customer as well.So I cannot note that every effort was made to provide me with the best service. Best service would have been when you saw me the first day and a friend of mine the second day outside writing items down on a paper that were being sold would have been to come talk to me and try to convince me that I would get a copy of items sold that day prior to you leaving the sale; that did not happen. Instead you had an employee come out and try to separate us and the next day you were upset and questioned my friend about what she was doing, came in the house and questioned me as well, which ended in a loud argument. This could have all been avoided if you had different procedures. I will send you a copy of the book when it gets published. I really wish you well and I would love to see your business grow!

This company does it all! Emptied every nook and cranny, attic, and hall. Organized it, staged it, tagged, and priced it. Advertised it both in the local paper and on Social Media. Conducted the sale and was worth every penny they earned. They were able to do, in a week, what would have taken me months to do. Very appreciative of their professionalism and honesty in conducting a difficult task. I highly recommend Charlotte's.

I have attended many estate sales in the El Paso area for many years. Charlotte's Estate Sales is most assuredly one of the best in the area. She is now and has been for many years approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. I have observed that she always has employees at each of the sales that she administers to ensure that the property of the owner is safeguarded, if a customer has a question(s) there is someone to assist, that a price is understood and clearly marked. I have thoroughly enjoyed Charlotte's Estate Sales and will continue to attend her sales and purchase items this weekend and in the future. If you have any doubt as to the sincerity, honesty or professionalism of Charlotte's Estate Sales, then you should attend her sales and see it first hand for yourself. I know that I have not been disappointed. I look forward to her sales!!

Wow. I was so surprised by the negative comment made by another reviewer.I met Charlotte before she started the business, and have been attending her sales ever since the beginning.Charlotte's estate sales are always clean and organized, and have lots of great items on offer. She and her husband Tom go out of their way to hire honest and dependable workers, and that professionalism really shines through at every sale. And Charlotte is one of only a handful of Certified Appraisers in El Paso County, so their pricing is always spot on.One more note. I am on virtually every local estate seller's mailing list. And I can say that Charlotte does a GREAT job of getting people to SHOW UP to her sales. This is an important aspect that many potential clients may overlook. But reviewer David G. said it best. Do your own homework. Check out the countless positive reviews on her Facebook page. Then pop in at a sale and see for yourself. All those positive reviews can't be wrong.
