12/7/2020This is not fine dinning. Definitely not Taco Bell! Don't expect Taco Bell prices on something that isn't crappy. There is always the chalupa box at Taco Bell. This place is designed for those that want to enjoy a casual good tasting burrito from the hand made flour tortillas to the beans, and guisado. Lady's at the counter are making about four burritos per person and will not be listening to your life stories. Tortillas are hand made. Burritos are tasteful and depending on the guisado you pick it might be more greasy. A lot of workers that don't have the time to chit chat and have a fast pace job frequent this place.

Been on a burrito kick for breakfast lately. I heard about Cazares burritos and finally went to try them out. It's definitely a working man's lunch type of place with hot plates and cafeteria style assembly line. It was a little confusing because there were 2 lines that ended up on the same register, one you ordered from the lady scooping food and she would tell the cashier what you got to pay, and the other would pay and tell the other what to make. It was kind of inefficient but eventually you would get to the front. I chose the food lady because I wanted to see what was offered. They had a menu that kept flipping and it was annoying because I would be reading and then it would fade away; if someone knows the owner, tell them to stop that. I ended up just pointing and asking what things were. I got chicharron, deshebrada, barbacoa, and a plain bean burrito for the girl. They asked me if I wanted cilantro and onions and red and green salsa on my barbacoa. The others didn't come with salsa or sauces. Everything with tip (hey the ladies work hard here and greeted regulars, which I hope to be) came out to be $16 or so. The burritos were a good size and the breakfast ones are super cheap, which is probably why they ran out of eggs. You can add beans to any burrito. The deshebrada wasn't dry and nicely flavored and didn't need salsa since it had bell peppers and onions. Hubby liked it more than anything else and gave me a small bite. I loved my barbacoa, super moist, not fatty or gristly with the right amount of salsa and condiments. Wished I bought another. The girl seemed to enjoy her bean burrito and ate half. The chicharron was really good too, I added beans to that, and it tastes like an easy to handle guisado wrapped in tortillas. The potatoes weren't cooked down to sogginess and the chicharron was fatty and jelly like, not chewy. The only problem I'm having is my wimpiness. This thing is SPICY! I'll definitely be back as I love nice local shops like this, small, unassuming one with killer well priced food. They have an ATM even though they take cards for people who want to pay cash to avoid the service fee. The burrito kitchen Nazis are something else. You would think after a few visits the ladies behind the counter would be more kind. However, this is not the case at all. We visit El Paso a few times a year and we love the food from this establishment. The service on the other hand is grossly lacking. Make sure you are ready with your order; get in and get out as quickly as possible is definitely their unspoken motto. I think we'll try the Canutillo location next time.

Bad customer service by the owner bald guy with glasses treats customers bad and gets offended if you ask questions or prices regarding his menu. He is very disrespectful when answering your questions would not recommend this place at all if you wanna get treated disrespectful. He's employees act more proffesional than him. Please go back to school Sir and respect your customers because we customers are the ones that give you for a living and buy your product for you to be in Business in the first place. Never coming back to this place!

Me and my husband have been stopping here for years enjoying various burritos. We even hired them back in 2016 to make the food for my daughters quince! But today Sunday Oct 29, 2023 we stopped for two burritos and they were super greasy with no flavor whatsoever! What the hell is going on?!?

They no longer carry .99 burrito which is what they were known for. Just be careful because they will try to charge you more if you don't pay attention.

Overpriced. You can find better quality for the price at Lupita's or Valley Super Market, both nearby.
