So excited to have found a bouldering place near my house! I honestly had no idea that this place was on executive which means it is literally like three minutes from my place. The staff was awesome and the people were super friendly and the bouldering was super difficult. I look forward to getting stronger and learning the paths. Definitely recommend.

Stopped by today for the first time to check out their Homeschool class. My daughter has shown interest in climbing, especially after our trips to Hueco Tanks. It is so hard to get her interested in anything other than horse riding, so I jumped at the opportunity. The location is easily accessible and with plenty of parking space. We were greeted by Lindsey, who was a delight to interact with. The venue is smaller than what I was expecting, but with plenty of space for us parents to wait for our kids. Per my daughter, the instructors were patient and very clear with instructions. She can't wait for her next class!

Great little bouldering gym! (and I believe the only one in El Paso area, unless you cross the border into Juarez) I was in the area for work and had a day off and Cave was a perfect way to get my climbs in! I've just been climbing for 3 months, but was going pretty regularly at my home gym, so I didn't mind making the 2 hour drive from my hotel to get to this place and keep my strength. The grading was pretty similar to my regular gym in LA and despite the relatively small size, there were plenty of fun and challenging bouldering problems to solve! I was there for a good 3.5 hours doing everything from V0 - V4s and there were challenging routes for some of their more advanced regulars going all the way up to V10. I liked their labeling system too which used playing cards to identify the grade (royals were v0, Ace was v1, etc)! Liz checked me in and was super helpful and friendly and even was out there climbing with us since it was a nice slow weekday afternoon. Can't wait to come back if work allows me to while I'm out here!

After so many times of asking, my best friend finally convinced me to try out bouldering. She brought me to my first visit to The Cave back in February. She had just started at the beginning of this year. So we are both kind of noobs. But the community at Cave are so encouraging and helpful. They are graciously friendly and patient, which is necessary for mindset starting anything new. It's not just the gym itself, which by the way, has a lot of selection for different climbs (I think they mentioned something like 40 routes? Don't quote me on it though.) The community that this gym attracts and builds is pretty core to its vibe. The staff is very chill and helps out when they see me struggling with a route, which I really appreciate. That initiative and helpfulness speaks a lot about their community. It truly is a gem in El Paso. I ran into the owner, Ben, at a Starbucks not too far away, and he's just as chill in his climbing home as outside of it. As for the walls itself, they change out a few routes at a time on a bimonthly basis from my experience. They revamped over half the climbs just recently. And there are some pretty creative climbs, plenty for beginners and intermediates. I haven't been able to do any V3+ (yet), so I can't speak for any of those level. But the experienced climbers keep coming back and I see some regulars, so I'm thinking they must be just as taunting and challenging.Overall, great experience.

I loved this rock gym. I was only visiting El Paso for the day and I wanted to get a good workout in, and Cave was incredible! It's set up in a relatively small building, but for an intermediate climber(I max out between V3 and V5) there were enough courses here that I was busy puzzling through them for three hours solid, and I didn't even get to attempt half of the courses within my range. There was a great diversity to the courses themselves, there were some really fun dyno courses set up, and when it was all said and done, there was some bomb lotion for my poor hands on the way out. The playlist was fire the entire time I was there, and the owner was nearby for advice whenever I needed it. I really enjoyed this gym and would recommend it to anybody interested in rock climbing in El Paso!

This place is very small needed to wait 2 hours for this when no one was here. Place is very small and if you fall from a big height nothing could catch you except for the mattress. Would not recommend to go here.

The best. Helpful, friendly, and with a range of routes that make bouldering really accessible for all levels of experience. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming through El Paso.
