Overall 2.5/5 starsPark 1.5Service 4Ammenities 2We needed an RV Park in Socorro, New Mexico and Casey's was an easy off and on the highway. We called and they said we didn't need reservations tonight, just come in. They have a big billboard on the freeway so we knew we were getting close. Once you're off the highway, you make one turn and you can see the RVs. You go past the Baptist Temple and you see an entrance. There is a sign for a beauty salon which we didn't know they had at the time. We hesitated but saw the Casey's sign on the building. Registration is in that building so you find a place to stop. Katherine was so nice and helpful and let us choose our space. We couldn't fit in the B row without hanging out halfway into the street. So, I called again and we were happy to go to a site in level C. Level C is great if you are 50 ft. It is a parallel parking site but since no one was behind site 9 we just backed and pulled straight in. Our site was fairly level. Some of the other rigs are a bit sketchy but it's quiet and seems safe. The park is do-able for a night for us. I would stay again if I was in the area again and needed to stop.

It's okay if all you need is a parking lot to stay the night. There is only 1 bathroom with a shower available to campers and it's often occupied. The Wi-Fi is non existent. You can get logged in but it's slow and will kick you out in only a few minutes. I'm writing this review sitting outside the bathroom waiting for my turn. Kind of sucks really.I decided to edit my review and only give 1 star now that I've been sitting outside the bathroom for over 20 minutes. Now that I've been out here 40 minutes I wish I could give negative stars but alas I can't.

If you are looking for an RV Park for an overnight stay in the Socorro, NM area, Casey's RV Park is a decent one. There are pull-through and back-in sites, all sand and gravel, fairly level. It is a fairly open area, so it's easier to maneuver a long rig here than in many RV parks that I have seen. Some of the sites have full hookups, some have water and electric only. There is a separate dump station near the office, as well as a trash dumpster. There appear to be several RVs that are parked full-time, or possibly long-term for work, and most of them are in the back-in sites around the perimeter fence. Most sites have a picnic table and shade tree. The office is in the on-site beauty parlor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy access from I-25. We did not hear traffic from I-25 at night, even though the highway is nearby. The entrance to the RV park is a few hundred feet south of the large sign that says "Casey's RV Park". Look for the sign for the beauty parlor, with a smaller sign beneath it indicating the RV park entrance. We have stayed at Casey's RV park several times on a long trip to keep from having to drive after dark. There are gas stations and restaurants nearby. It is perfect for an overnight stay.
