Venezuelans have been in El Paso news lately, but why not their food? It's delicious! We have a new place in the Lower Valley and I finally got to try it out. I went by myself as I had some time, but next time I'll bring a Spanish speaker since Google translate kinda sucks. I don't know much about Venezuelan food but I saw a lot of migrants there so it seemed legit, it was all single males though so a bit unnerving, but hey if you're single, ladies, they're here. Anyhow, back to the food, the breakfast plate was alright, it wasn't anything to write home about, as it came with some white cheese, an arepa, black beans, overcooked eggs and mayo. It reminded me of the meals I had in Costa Rica, hearty, filling, and no spices whatsoever. I couldn't finish it. It was also expensive at $14.The coffee it came with was so delicious though, it almost made up for the whole plate. Similar to the Costa Rican Chorreador style brew, Guayoyo is a coffee sock brewing method. Not sure if they did that here, but the result is a deeply sweet flavor with notably balanced acidity and fruity undertones. It tasted like they added condensed milk and the foam on top was so decadent. I'll go back just for the coffee.Fortunately they have something else that's ridiculously good. Tequeños, or Venezuelan cheese sticks, makes mozzarella sticks seem like children's food. It's basically fried cheese with pastry dough, but the queso Blanco is perfectly salty, the pastry oh so light and buttery and flaky. It's $9 for 6 and worth it.Don't even get me started on the dipping sauce, Guasacaca or avocado salsa, it's a brighter, tangier version of guacamole. This one tasted amazing paired with the Tequeños. I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu, it's definitely exciting to see different cuisines offered in El Paso!Casabe Venezuelan Food(915) 301-10729001 Cashew Dr, El Paso, TX 79907https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fw6SxofjxEzwwaSo6

Do not order through DoorDash because they will most likely cancel your order!! They confirmed the order then cancelled it. Beware.

First time was a 5 star experience. Second also but tonight was such a disappointment. No shredded beef nor even ham and cheese. And the pernil was so dry, the beans was just a bowl of bean water with a few beans and shreds of cheese. Had to substitute shredded chicken for beef but they didn't reduce the price accordingly. Juices and tequeños are still very good but that was about it. Shredded beef I can understand why they would run out because it takes a long time to cook, but seriously ham and cheese? Go to the grocery store. And if you don't have beans, say so. Really sad but did not feel the love in the food tonight and not sure we'll be back.

Great service and food!!! I have been looking for a while for different types of Latin food here in El Paso and it was an amazing change. Most of the food is naturally gluten free. Well seasoned, no need for additional spices.

La comida está muy pobre de nivel, pedí una parrilla y el pollo y el chorizo estaban crudos, aparte las arepas fritas que vienen de acompañante estaban duras como que tenían una semana ahi añejadas, la atención al cliente muy pobre.
