Casa Manana

Was in the area for work, came here for lunch. This place was packed! Had to circle around 4 or 5 times to get parking lol. They serve chips with salsa, they offered chunky, so I accepted and the chunky was really good! I ate it all lol. I ordered the craver combo and sun refried beans for pinto beans I believe.. the sauce they put on my enchiladas was a bit much, made my food really soggy. The cheese enchilada was good, the tortilla used for it didn't get too soggy but the chicken enchilada was just mush. I'm thinking it's the tortilla wasn't charred long enough to withstand all that sauce. But it was still good, I ended up eating all the protein inside instead. This place wasn't bad, there's so many people that come here, I'd come back and try something else next time I'm in town. The fountain dr. Pepper was really good. Not a bad price either!

Someone had recommended this to me that has been there before. We went in for a late afternoon lunch. The wait was minimal and the staff was friendly. It's a family style location so it was quiet and welcoming. Once we were seated we ordered and the server was very helpful in navigating to make the food and sides just how we wanted it. We ordered margaritas and they were tasty and strong. Definitely a place that we will come back to.

Ok, so it is Taco Tuesday. Back again to Casa Manana for the stuffed chili relleno. A must try delicacy anytime I stay in Safford. The chilli is stuffed with shredded chicken or beef and rolled in eggs. Upgraded my review to 5 Stars. I have always been happy with the food, the service, the prices and ambience.

This is the place! In business for 70+ years, they've got it down. Restaurant offers off street free parking. The building is self is meticulously maintain and spotlessly clean. We arrived mid afternoon and the place was hopping. Everyone was doing their part including the bus girl who made a comment about she helps however she can, and that's the kind of attitude I love to see in a business where everyone works as a team. The restaurant offers an extensive list of options that are special, traditional, unique, and just out of this world! We really did have a difficult time trying to figure out what we were going to get. Custom combo dishes allowed for us to sample a number of items that were just all exceptional. Their chunky salsa did not disappoint with just enough heat and a special order of flour chips that made for a unique combination. We also checked out there empanadas, which were so delicious with a picante sauce that was unique, lite, and flavorful. Our server was exceptionally pleasant and accommodate our request for a prolonged meal versus everything coming out too quickly. There is a full-service bar that offers beers and wonderful margaritas. Join the Kasa club and get flour chips for each visit. Membership includes free, birthday gift, one point for one dollar spend, free anniversary, gift, discounts and coupons, and a free appetizer for just signing up. This is our first visit! We tried the 3 combo plate and it was soo satisfying! The crunchy taco was fried perfectly and it has a generous amount of cheese, the meat reminded me of the old times when my grandpa, dad and uncles would cook meat in the ground for days - full of flavor and juicy! Omgeeee, i know my daughter would eat a ton of them!!! I might even bring some back to her ! The spicy machaca burrito wasn't spicy at all. It has the same tenderness as in the preparation of the shredded beef taco meat, but you could clearly taste a slight sweetness and smokiness from the enchiladas style we ordered. I asked if the enchilada sauce was homemade and our kind server said yes. The beans were delicious, tasted fresh and creamy and the rice was well... it was ok ; I'm rice picky. We ordered the sour cream and guacamole on the side. I like that they give both flour and corn chips with 2 kinds of salsas! I loved the chunky (not hot) salsa, full of tomatoes and onions, they also offer a bottled salsa.The restaurant was pleasant, nice calming music, and just really a relaxing atmosphere with the same vibe by the staff. The busboys quickly bussed the table and everything was nice and clean. It was so calm I forgot to order my margarita! I like that there's plenty of hotels nearby, so maybe I'll walk over for that margarita or two after all !! Overall, we'd DEFINITELY return! I'll try a chimichanga next time!

We've heard amazing things about this place so excitedly we went during lunch time to take advantage of their lunch specials. My husband loved his chicken Caesar wrap and the portion size was huge. My plate on the other hand lacked flavor. All of it was pretty bland. Nothing stood out including the cheese enchilada which was lost in a whole bunch of sauce. The saving grace for me was the corn chips. They were delicious and they let us have two servings with pico de gallo. Also the decoration of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We will come again to try the chimichanga though. Sounded like perfection.

The chimichangas are very good! The place is usually packed when I've been there and for good reason. Can't get enough of the chunky salsa!

Don't know why my post got taken down. I was just speaking the truth. Terrible service, high prices and the gratuity is ridiculous!

I passed this one the way in, and knew it would be on the list.I grabbed the Taco Tuesday Deal. (Was not a fan of the full chicken strip in the chicken taco.) the ground beef as my favorite.The green chili tamale was delicious! The salsa was excellent! And the chips were a mix of normal chips and a puff version. I can see while it is a part of the salsa trail.

Food delicious, good size portions, and we got served pretty quick. Our waitress, Gabby, was very nice and friendly, offered good suggestions for us to try Restaurant charming and clean, nice comfortable feel to it.
