Service has improved. i would hope so since our family eats here a lot. Their enchiladas are one of the best and caldo de res . Reasonable and always clean. Cashiers have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Traditional and delicious! It is a rare find in El Paso when you get to try a good quality, inexpensive, traditional Mexican meal alongside great service and hospitality. Not only is it a restaurant,but a bakery for traditional Mexican breads and pastries.The food is breathtakingly tasty and has a good "sazón". I ordered a Caldo de Res (a traditional Mexican beef broth) and it had a prefect balance of vegetables and beef, alongside a beef burrito bathed in green salsa. The burrito was mildly spicy and the meat was soft and tender, while the broth was perfectly seasoned. Overall the food was exquisite and very expertly crafted and I'll be sure to come back many more times in the future.

I ordered a plain bean and cheese burrito and it was sour. We can't do anything since we took the food to go.

The food is always very good. The home made tortillas are great! The prices have gone up, just like everywhere else, but the service is just ok.

For your own sake do not go here!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME we go these people STEAL!!! I get home and the charge the next day is always a couple dollars more. Yesterday my husband bought 2 $2 burritos and a popsicle and they charged my card 14.00!!! This was a purchase of 6.00 max. They are thieves and liars and will be getting sued if not by me... by someone soon!!! This is not a mistake when it happens more than 8 times!!!

They cheated me twice when I bought 1 pound of green sauce. They charged me 1 pound and gave me much less (I have a kitchen scale in my kitchen), although I had told them what they did to me the first time, they did it again!!. 3/4 of a pound they gave me the last time, and they weighed it !!! I do not come back anymore, maybe my wallet will be stolen next time. The attention is very bad (depends who is).

Great service and this place has the best tamales! We drive out of our way just to eat here. So good! My favorite spot in El Paso and I live in California. I definitely recommend eating here and the other restaurants around don't even compare!

If you're looking for traditional Mexican food, which i'm sure isn't hard to find in El Paso, don't miss this place. Order at the counter. The helpful staff explains the menu. Food plentiful and good. Lots of locals: always a good sign.
