Campos & Son Roofing and Construction

I'm not in the habit of writing reviews however this is one I have to complete for roofing work completed at my residence. Lucky Campos (son) came to my home (they actually kept this appointment) and gave me an estimate and signed a contract which will turn one year old next month. Periodic rain showers eventually made its way to El Paso and also into my residence after roof work had been completed by Campos & Son. I sustained minor water damage in several locations in my home on my ceilings and called the company back to take a look and fix the issue. When the roofing employees showed up, they spotted some deficiencies and attempted to correct the problem areas. It took two visits before I was able to finally get the work done correctly. A short time after the second visit for repairs, I sustained more water damage inside my home around other areas. I contacted Campos &Son Roofing & Construction and spoke to a gentleman named William who took my information and scheduled an appointment. I took off work one day and no one showed up and no one called. I called again and received an apology and attempted to reschedule as William said he would call me back when he got back to the office. No phone call was received.The company was referred to me by family members who also stated Campos & Son will not return calls but I'll defer to them for reviews and ratings. When receiving a quote, the company will tell you that they are licensed and bonded however will not take out permits for work to be completed which will leave you out on a limb (I know this now after contacting the City of El Paso). After spending $2000 dollars, I've now been left with interior ceiling damage that should have not occurred in such a short amount of time after having my roof done. I urge you to use due diligence in hiring a company that is competent and will live up to what they claim is complete and professional service. I CANNOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND CAMPOS AND SON ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION FOR YOUR REPAIR AND NEW CONSTRUCTION NEEDS. Buyer be aware. If I could rate with negative stars, I would.

First time that I have given 5 star review. This company, the people who run it and the work persons all seemed to share the same goal: to do a good job in a timely manner and get paid an honest wage for the roof shingle replacement. They did this by everyone working together like a river flows. I was very impressed with the care they took in keeping my property clean. Great job by a great team!
