Caliche's Frozen Custard

Came here at 9:30 pm after the rodeo to try out the gizmo Sunday and a frito dog. The hot dog was very good! Chili tastes awesome And I love nacho cheese. My Gizmo sundae was delicious too! I should've built my own and got a small cuz it was too much for me to finish. Definitely enough to share with another person.

Had it for the First time here. The Big Hawaiian was so Bomb. This would be dangerous if we had one in Cali. I'm gonna have to have on one more time before I leave.

Is there anything better than frozen custard?! Love this local place when visiting NMSU. No indoor seating but a variety of outdoor options and easy parking. Custard is creamy and delicious with so many choices for how to mix it up!

This was the cutest frozen custard stand that we happened to stop at and we're so glad we did! The custard was delicious, which is saying a lot coming from Wisconsinites!

Man this was so good. Some of the best ice cream/custard I've ever had. Worth the hype.

The famous green chile sundae sounds like it would be a war between sweet, spicy, dairy, and salty in my belly... but it was actually pretty good! It comes with vanilla custard and your choice of nuts - I chose salted pecans. The first bite was interesting since all the toppings were loaded on top (i suppose that'swhy they are called toppings). But once I dug down a little to equally distribute with the custard, that's when the balance of flavors really came through. Would I get this sundae again? Probably not - because it was truly just a novelty to try it. Would I come back and try other sundaes? Absolutely, I would!

I created my own caliche with chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, brownie and Reese's cups. It was delicious! I liked the brownie chunks and the peanut butter sauce. The custard was creamy and delicious. Such a delicious spot in Las Cruces! Parking is plentiful and service is friendly. If it's a nice day, take advantage of the sun and eat outside on one of their benches.

Quick service, good recommendations. Delicious caliche, unique and customizable. Ambiance was relaxed, space to sit and lighting for having it outside, but spots to enjoy from the car. I had the mint caliche, was phenomenal - great texture and flavor

Saturday afternoon at the Roadrunner location. I ordered the Mount Brownie. First of all, the price was high. I could have gotten a whole carton of Frozen Yogurt chocolate brownie for less money. Second, the portion size was very small. There was actually enough space at the end of the container that could have taken another scoop of frozen custard. Third, there was only brownie on one side. I thought it was supposed to be a split, with a brownie on both sides? Third, the single brownie I got was very short. I'm very disappointed. With the smaller portion size and higher price, I will NOT be going back here. If you go, you're a sucker. Buy Fro Yo at Walmart. It'll last longer and it tastes just as good.
