Cajun Crab

Wow!! I went to the gas station up the street to grab a Subway sandwich but the employee gleefully told me that she was closed...15 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME. I was road weary from a 650 mile trek across TX so I rage shopped for dinner places nearby. The 4* caught my eye so I went to their website. Very cute and quaint and looked tasty so I took the 3 min drive. Such a tiny little cute restaurant, you might overlook it, but that would be a HUGE mistake! I ordered the shrimp bag with medium spice and it was a garlic masterpiece with sausage bits, potato, broccoli, and a boiled egg...and plenty of shrimp. It looked so good that I forgot to take a picture of the "before", and I demolished it so quickly I'd be ashamed to post the aftermath!!It's clear that the ladies behind the counter are the owners and they keep the place meticulously clean! I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Shame I'm just passing thru, it's a little out of the way but WELL worth the trip. Here's a pic of the inside...only three tables, but more than enough for a family outing. Come and get it!!

Me and my family of 6 decided to go here for dinner, my family loves crab boils (most of us). The dining area was small but they accommodated us by pushing a few tables together. We decided to make our own boil with lobster tail, crab legs, squid, shrimp, clams, broccoli, potatoes and eggs. We also ordered the orange chicken and a sushi roll. Surprisingly, our food was ready in less than 15mins and the food was great. The waitress was very friendly and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back for more crab boils in the future.

Note: this is not actually a Cajun restaurant. It's a standard Asian wok restaurant, with a slight emphasis on seafood, and one sweet Cajun stir-fry sauce.The menu lists a type of meal, called a "bag". I assumed it was a takeout thing, and ordered a "build your own" meal. It turned out to be a bag, which turns out to be a large clear plastic bag with my stir-fry in the bottom, tied in a loose knot to keep it inflated. It tasted great, but the larger pieces (especially corn-on-the-cob) were only hot on the outside. Will I go back? Honestly, I'm not sure. I was disappointed that it's not a Cajun seafood restaurant, and eating my meal out of a plastic trash bag was kind of weird and unsettling. It was tasty and affordable, though.If I go again, I will be better prepared and will probably have a better experience.

Is this place open or not? We stopped by today as it was supposed to be open. The outside of this place looks like a two year old dump, like it hasn't been open in years. Gross outside and dingy looking from the windows.Yet there are reviews from a month ago???We stopped by this place over a year ago, and ran into the same exact situation. Closed when it was supposed to be open.If you are open, ensure online media reflects it, and clean up your surroundings and post hours!Not trying for a third time.

Probably the best takeout asian-American food in town, and excellent Cajun/seafood as well! Their hours are gracious, friendly owners, and memorable food. The Mei Fun was the best I've had outside of Las Vegas. Prices are kind of steep (Let's Go, Brandon!), but comparatively, portions are large and the quality is great... I will continue to order from here!

The fried squid was a little overcooked but not bad. They should give you a lot more sauce for the squid. The orange chicken was pretty good, the Las Cruces roll was decent, the seaweed salad was really good, and the fried rice could definitely be better. It was pretty bland for fried rice. My wife said her side order of peel shrimp was really good. Overall it was mediocre like any other Chinese restaurant in Las Cruces. Maybe slightly better than others but not by much. I'll go back to try a crawfish bag next time. Hopefully the bags are better.

Placed an order through DoorDash with them for a seafood boil with shrimp and the dungeness crab legs. Upon opening the bag and looking at the crab cluster I could clearly see the outside shell was too dark to be safe and looked rotten. I opened the legs just to be sure, and sure enough they were completely rotten, black, and smelled. I called the restaurant to make them aware of what they were giving out to people and lady who answered told me it was DoorDash's fault and to call them. I can't believe this place is operating and will be calling the health department.

My girl got food poisoning bc of these place. they had a placed in el paso Tx by mesa, it was actually not bad at first but it got closed down because off cross contamination. If you're going to this placed make sure you check the crabs they might be old, i dont recommend this place at all. they even gave me a snow crab instead of a Dungeness crab. The lady that attends wont give you a refund , and she wont even attend you right you have to go up to here like a clerk to make your order , when you pay the lady will frowned at you if they dont receive tip , and as i approached the restroom i noticed they also lived there which is not very sanitary for a restaurant.

The food was really good, very fresh & I will be returning. They have take out and inside seating options. The inside is very small so seating is limited. Service was quick and good.

First time trying seafood boil and let me tell you this place did not disappoint! I got the shrimp bag but was having a hard time deciding on the sauce as they all sounded so good! The nice lady in the front recommended the sweet Cajun sauce so I went with that and loved it! Super fast service too! Thank you guys!!!
