"I'm actually surprised that this place doesn't have more of a spotlight on them because amazing people are doing great things out of this building.The staff is above reproach and you feel like one of the family Day One! The artistry of the building speaks for itself. All done by the owner and staff themselves, you can see they are very meticulous to detail.Although there are great artists there, I've been with Chicago since 2020. It's not like any other tattoo shop I've been to before. There's a process and Chicago is loyal to the process. He first seeks to understand and then he seeks to be understood.His values and principles are what won me over. Aside from the fact that you've most likely seen his mural work around El Paso, he's a very humble man. He listened to my story, heard my disappointments with my previous tattoo, and brought my vision to life! The living work of his soul is on me and we have more to do but through it all, he chose me...I didn't choose him."

"Our tattoos of the owls were from Feb 14, 2019. It was a spontaneous valentines date we didn't even plan. We were having lunch and all of a sudden we came up with the idea to get tattoos! It was mine and my boyfriends first tattoo to get together and we both enjoy them. We walked in the shop and we were immediately welcomed by the tattoo artists. I loved how the shop was decorated. Coffins and scary heads ! Vintaged mirrors as well. Being Valentine's Day, there was a special going on. $100 each piece on leg or arm. So we both decided to get owls, different designs tho. Lidia did my tattoo. And Celina did my boyfriends. They're both creative and have a lot of talent. I Definitely get a lot of compliments on my owl piece."

I got the star with a mountain line and Pete was making the process so easy by giving me options and listening to some changes I wanted. "So not gonna lie. I was kinda nervous for my 3rd tattoo. But when your best friend suggests we get matching tattoos for her first one, you go ham! I am beyond elated that this place was above and beyond my expectations! The only sucky part was how COVID requirements dont allow walk ins or over the phone appointments. You would need to contact the tattoo artist through their Instagram account. Luckily we had a great pair of artists that were patient with us for our schedule!My best friend Marie chose a random mandala on the internet for us. We also chose Debo as our artist because of how awesome his stuff was on Instagram! (d3380 is his Instagram account, just fyi!) He didnt mind being able to do ours one after the other! So we sent him the picture she found and formulated his own beautiful/original version of one! I wanted him to add beads to mine and he made that come out beautifully as well!He was super patient with us. Firstly, we were 10 mins late which i hated but he understood what happened prior to. Then, i kept switching if i wanted my shoulder or forearm before finally settling on my forearm. And then, when it was Maries turn, we kept chatting away like crazy that it took a bit longer for her to even get started and i made her move too much. Our poor guy! Lol. The other artist David Glim did one for my husband before us. Magnificent work! We did the same picture submission and made it that much better! We are super super satisfied aboht our new tats and i cant wait to come back for touch ups on an old one and add water colors to my mandala!"

However, for my third tattoo there I scheduled several months in advance, drove 6 hours to obtain, only to be told 1 day before to reschedule. Not for an emergency, just for a church thing. Needless to say, I'll be going somewhere else from now on. I can't support a business that would do that to a customer."

"I did not get a tattoo here, but took my 5 month old daughter to have her ears pierced. I had found Marlene on Instagram and saw she specializes in piercings only. I messaged her and received a very prompt reply. I took my daughter in the next day. She wanted to carry my daughter around first so she can feel comfortable. That right there was the sweetest thing. If you took a child to Wal Mart or Claire's or even their pediatricians office to have their ears pierced do you think they would want your baby to feel comfortable before the process? Hell no they won't. The artists there came over and said hello to the baby and made us feel right at home. The whole process went smooth. If you are getting anything pierced ask for Marlene, you will not regret it!"

I got a nose pierce ($30) and luckily i happened to have cash on me when i went. very friendly and professional service. it's been a few days and it's looking healthy. one thing i forgot to ask was if there was an option on the kind of stud they use. they gave me a stainless ball, which isnt bad but if they had a shiny one i would've taken it. The guy who pierced me said that after it heals, if i wanted to come back and look at their jewelry he would swap it out for me. thought that was a really nice gesture. it can be horrific when u take it out and can't get it back in.. thats wut she said."

I literally don't know how this guy has a job at a tattoo shop, very horrible job. do your research on the artist first, we trusted on the shop's recommendation but not we have to get his tattoo fixed. Tattoo artist (Jacob) -- I wouldn't give him a full 1 star. As for Sal, his work is phenomenal. My plan was to start on my right arm to create a horror sleeve. The front recommended Sal because he does great horror art. They weren't lying. He took his time and he was very precise. He definitely dedicated all his hard work on my arm. There he did it, tattooing the perfect silent nurse. I am so in love with it. Proud of my horror piece. Sal is the man to go to."

"Steady and ready!!! This place is the ONLY place you should go to for all your tattoo needs! The vibe of this place is way more fun than most tattoo parlors I've been to. There's this awesome tree in the middle of the open room that's in between some other tattoo artist stations. You can also tell the owner is military affiliated with a board of military patches and a military grade rocket launcher. That's always fun to see!Sarah was the tattoo artist for my bestie Marie and I! She is PHENOMENAL and would recommend her to anyone for their tattoos! He does not have a heavy hand which as you know can make a tattoo really miserable. All around this place is absolutely the best tattoo shop/artist/staff I have visited. Alex is pretty much appointment only which to me shows that he is outstanding. "My bestie and I were looking for a tattoo place to get the awesome leaf village tattoo from Naruto! She also wanted some watercolor for her parachute tattoo. We called one place and went there. It was a bust. We tried a second place, and we would need a consultation first. The last place I saw on yelp was the Dead Hamster tattoo besides the fact that he's a veteran and we saw some of his previous work, which included a Hinata tattoo (huge coincidence). We called, and he just had a cancellation (another coincidence) and took us in. The place is COVID compliance and super clean!! They wipe down everything in between sessions. The artist, Ryan Swift, is incredible and a perfectionist!! He adjusted the placement three times until we got the right spot. His apprentice Sara (forgive me if I didn't get your name right) was also amazing!! They def have great equipment, and he uses an iPad for the drawings, and they came out awesome!! They make you feel right at home. I watched the Naruto movie for the first time during the session. It put me at ease. They also started playing the Moana soundtrack, and it was awesome!! We found our new tattoo shop in town!!! Please go check them out, and his prices are reasonable as well!!! Show this vet your support for his local business!!!"

I have two tattoos and both were done by Dan. Granted, both times I was shaking and crying like a little girl, but Dan tolerated me and for that reason alone he deserves five stars. I would not go to anybody else, ever. I won't even go to places in Chicago (where I live) because I don't trust them and don't like the end results. So, I wait til I come visit my family in El Paso, then go and see dan. Nor did any piercing I got done here. This place is super clean and very professional. They also have a small selection of jewelry. The artists come and go which is expected, but every tattoo I have gotten here over the past four years has been very well done despite being done by different artists each time. I don't have a huge amount :) Prices are very reasonable as well! $25 for nose piercing! Can't beat that! I got my sisters' birth flowers tattooed on my feet for only $90, in color :) So if you are on the west side, or don't mind the drive, then this is the place to go!"
