"Amazing service, delicious food, and a really cool place, this was a highly recommended spot that we had to try out during our time in El Paso. It was a bit confusing to find at first since the block is a collection of stores, but once we saw the outdoor seating and ordering window we figured it out. It was quite busy for early evening on Friday so we sat at the bar, which was fun because we got to watch everyone (and there were lots) come by to get food and drinks. We started with the tostadas, which were just packed with guacamole, seeds, and raisins and were super flavorful - I was surprised by how much the raisins added to it; We also got 4 tacos, which weren't the biggest but were really good. And the sweet potatoes that were charred and nicely seasoned. Our bartender was very helpful in offering different mezcal and letting us try some things somewhat local to the area and we really appreciated and liked it all."
"Delicious , amazing, we go every Tuesday for two dollars tacos, you got to try there shrimp tacos or the fish tacos"
"My colleague really recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprised that they had vegan options. The queso that they had was not very good, it was very thick and not very flavorful they said. They were looking for something more authentic like with green chilies. I ordered a cauliflower taco and a mushroom taco and the cauliflower was really good. The mushroom taco was too sweet. I was disappointed in their salsas. The guacamole had hardly any flavor. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The tv was a bit loud for my taste but not so much that we couldn't converse. I loved the blue corn tortillas. The tacos come with flour. If I hadnt known that i would be upset."
"Loved this place! The food, service, and ambiance were great here! My mom was slightly challenged by the amount of spice/heat in every dish, especially the salsa they bring with the chips, but she's sensitive to spice anyway. I enjoyed it and was happy to not have to add extra hot sauce to my meal! The flavor of the enchilada sauce was also more complex than Mexican dishes I'm used to. Maybe a little sweeter? Again, I loved it! The Limonada aqua Fresca satisfied my pregnancy craving immediately and my mom thoroughly enjoyed her margarita. Our server, Hector, was a treat! It was a slower night and we enjoyed chatting with him while waiting for our order to be prepared. The decor was super cute and everything was very clean."
"Amazing food, good service, nice little place with an amazing chill vibe with some bomb ass salsa"
"I'm giving this 6 stars for the machaca, 6 for the wonderful waitresses, we were here Sat7th and I wish I could remember her name. The interior is a little devoid of character. Though I'm not a pro driver and have little experience w places like this. My sometimes particular other half thoroughly enjoyed her chicken taco."
"I am used to the original rusty taco in Dallas since that is where I live so when I saw they had one here I had to stop in. The tacos were good but a little lighter on the toppings than I am used to at the original one. The queso was great. Chips were a little old but not too bad. It was super busy but only took like 15 minutes to get in and out with my to go order. The green salsa is my favorite."
"I had a great experience at Lapa Lapa, a low-key spot that knows how to do ceviche right. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff kept things running smoothly without being intrusive. Everything felt clean and welcoming, which made it easy to enjoy the meal. The ceviche was fresh and well-prepared, with flavors that were bright and balanced. They had a nice selection of sauces, including a green salsa that added just the right kick. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something simple and satisfying.lots of citrus and lots of raw foods. I also really enjoyed the fried calamari"
"Came here for the first time I ordered the aguachiles mixtos with green sauce but still had the black sauce side, next though I'll just just have the black sauce because it was so good! Our servers were amazing very attentive, prices are well worth it! Think I'll pass on little shack and just come here from now on! Location was clean and very inviting the music was a bit loud but not annoying. Overall though 10/10"
"4Tacos 4Tacos 4TacosFebruary 2021. Visited and experienced the 4Tacos 4Tacos 4Tacos delicious Tacos for a Yelp Elite. Visited on a Wednesday evening. They open from 6-11pm. When I arrived I was unsure of the location for it was only a parking lot of a former night club but shortly a beautiful black truck arrived pulling the food truck. 4Tacos 4Tacos 4Tacos offers Potato Tacos (Tacos de Papa) Their famous Birria Tacos and Quesadillas. I ordered them all and LOVED them. My mouth still waters as I write this review.Very Nice Costumer Service and attentive.Social Distance is enforced so they bring your order to your vehicle once it is ready.Have I mentioned their food is MEGA AFFORDABLE!!!Ample Parking lot.The only thing is .. My order did take a while to be ready. 20 minutes total plus paying.. A total of 30 minutes. Yet, totally worth it."
"Came here on a Tuesday. Someone from work had mentioned they do taco Tuesday with good Birria tacos and cheap beers. The tacos were $1 for chicken and $1.50 each for birria. The chicken tacos were a bit plain in that they came with just chicken on a tortilla. If it had some cheese, onion, or cilantro that would have instantly improved it. The birria tacos were great and flavorful. The consume was rich. I believe the beers were $2 or so for a Tecate when we had gone. The bar had a great vibe and was neither crowded nor empty. Overall, I could see myself going back to this bar for a taco Tuesday fix."
"Was in El Paso for work and looked up taco places and the reviews and pics were good so decided to give it a try. Very clean restaurant in an older part of town. Waitress was polite and quick. I ordered the tripa tacos and my wife got the alambre. We also ordered queso fundido to try as well. Service was fairly quick and our food looked great. All the food was great and i would definitely recommend the tripa tacos there."

Exceptional tacos and agua frescas! There was a line around the building when we arrived on a Friday night (for good reason), and you order at the window before sitting inside or outside. Casual vibes, and each individual food item came out as it was ready. I was blown away by the perfect seasoning on everything- all the meats, the sauces, and the handmade tortillas. The Baja shrimp and carnitas tacos were so tasty! I also loved the hibiscus agua fresca, and my husband's horchata was the best I've ever tried. Would absolutely recommend- it's very much worth the wait!

Just a little note: a lot of food creators went yesterday to the soft opening of Dia De Los Pescados. It's in the old TacoRita location. The food is still as delicious and they have some new items only available at this site down location that weren't available yet, so I can't review it. I will say that their coconut shrimp and their po'boy is still slangin'. They are so friendly and proud of their food and accomplishments.Rightly so, since they wouldn't serve my friend the last coconut shrimps because the cook burned them and they would rather refund her than serve her something less than their standards.Going from a food truck to a physical location in less than 2 years is amazing and their loyal customers and friendly service is the reason why they're so successful. Prices are the same as the food trucks but with new items. Their grand opening is on Friday and they should have the new items ready to go then. A little bit of advice for them, turn the volume down in the front and the back kitchen. I felt like I was in the battle of the bands dining with my friend. We do appreciate that we can BYOB though. Come check them out and support local!Dia De Los Pescados1491 Lee Trevino Dr, El Paso, TX 79936#eptx #915 #elpaso #texas #thingtodoelpaso

Pretty good local spot for some chilaquiles and mimosas!! It's close to my house too which is great because I almost always have a craving for chilaquiles! And who wouldn't enjoy a delicious mimosa?? On Sundays, they have $1 mimosa glasses which is irresistible.Service was very quick too which is great! I was hungry and super ready for chilaquiles but even more so for the mimosa! My friend wanted to meet up for brunch so I suggested this spot. Very affordable menu options so it was perfect. It's a fun sports bar setting with lots of high table tops and regular ones as well. I wasn't a fan of their chilaquiles in the end though. The sauce was a bit too rancid for my liking and made my stomach upset a bit. I might try the green sauce next time tho and see if the outcome is better!

Caldo de res perfect amount of beef and vegetables. Only thing missing was the corn but I'm OK with that. Looking forward to eating at the restaurant.

Hey- I couldn't LEAVE this place without telling you. As a truck driver, I used to get through here every. Is and then. Haven't been through in years. So happy this place is still here. Small- AUTHENTIC taco shack. Perfect little dive. GREAT FOOD- great people. Fast. Friendly. No 5 star hi flooters in here- not necessary. Good prices. Can't really ask for more. Truck parking at TA express shop around back. Stop every chance you get. I went a little overboard- I was hungrier than an abandoned baby Lion. Ordered Chili rellenos, added a side of Langua (beef tongue). O. M. G. So chilis we're so cheesy. Tongue was roasted PERFECTLY. Few others told me how great the chicken fajitas were. I seen several combo plates I would have dove right in to. Taking 1/3 of it with me. STUFFED! Yes. Yes. And thank you!

Omg! I hadn't had good Mexican sea food like this in a long time. This was such a good find while in the downtown area. Before starting they give you chips and salsa. One is green and one is red but both are good without being terribly spicy. Then they bring everybody a small shrimp consome (broth) that I had to wait until it wasn't so hot (temperature hot not spicy hot).We tried as much as we could in one seating with multiple people to try everything. I have nothing but good things to say. Must return to finish trying the rest of the menu. We had lapa tacos, green aguachile, fish tacos, oysters both cooked and raw, fish chicharron, shrimp ceviche, marinero rice and to end we had some tres leches cake. I honestly cannot even pick a favorite because I enjoyed everything so much. I highly recommend it.

"Alright I forgot to take pics of the food because it was so good. I got a quesadilla con carne asada, oh man, flavor was amazing, meat was tender and the Chile sauce they gave was flavorful and had a mild spice. Also an order of barbacoa tacos. I am not a fan of barbacoa but thought I'd give it a try one last time. This will be the only place I get them from. Small little drive thru shack and the line moved pretty quick. OH GET AN HORCHATA!!!!!"
"Ok - true confession - I spent the first few days of my trip to TrC looking for food! This town is desperate for restaurants! Restaurants who are open regular and reasonable hours/days. For years I've said when the town gets a bar/pub/brewery things will pick up...well, we got our awesome brewery and NOW once again the owners of the TrC Brewery are saving us again!!Fresh cooked food was awesome! I had the wings and tots! Cooked as requested and delicious!"
"Great Mexican restaurant in El Paso. All you can eat on Wednesday. Great service. Great food."
"Best Mexican seafood we've had in a very long time. Excellent service from Mariana, great food and you don't leave hungry.. definitely need to come back and try other dishes.."
"Birria tacos and Mexican Coke. Just do it.The birria tacos come 4 to an order and they are thick with layers of queso cheese melted in between then deep fried. Onion, cilantro, limes and hot sauce come on the side as does a cup of consommé for dipping. Round that out with a glass bottle of Mexican Coke and you've just tasted heaven one cheesy layer at a time. We enjoyed our tacos and Coke's outside. They have several tables and chairs under a large metal awning. As some of the other reviews mentioned the prices are a little high but the quality and quantity of food that you get makes it worth every penny. Now go and get you some!"
"The place is gorgeous! The patio is a must a Mountain View and you can watch the cars down Mesa .I had chilaquiles they were good! Loved the green sauce the most so yum!Must come back for happy hour!!"
"We have several places to get birria. I've had pretty much all of those places. To me this place is the most consistent and tastiest."
"What a surprise- the fries were real! Like real potatoes fresh, like mom used to make. Seasoning, green salsa, cheese...all perfect! They were so good!!"
"Disappointed with this place unfortunately. The elotes were not tasty at all, and super watery. We asked for no butter but they forgot to omit, and thinking it was cheese, I mistakingly ate a chunk of it. YUCK.We also got the churro supreme. It was presented really nicely: cut up churros topped with ice cream, whipped cream, bits of pecans, and maricheno cherries. Unfortunately the churros were over cooked; they were really dense and tough to chew. It was only okay."
"The food was good and the ingredients tasted fresh. I am not a Spanish speaker so it was a little hard to navigate the menu since I am not familiar with authentic Mexican food. The waitress helped and provided good service. If you are expecting fajitas and tacos this isn't the restaurant for you. This is definitely a notch up on your average Mexican restaurant."
"Great branding in this food truck because they know they have some great food with deep and authentic Mexican flavor. We tried a medley of items, both food and beverages are out of this world. The birria tacos and quesadillas have ample cheese and meat, they don't skimp here. The birria juice, wow, thick and flavorful. We also tried the ramen, which was amazing as well with tons of delicious shredded meat. They are normally open over the weekend, so check their Instagram for updates. They are communicative, which is great. One caveat is that their authentic sauce flavor does has a tiny sweet undertone, like a nutmeg or cinnamon. It gives great depth of flavor, but may not be for everyone. I still think you should try it, grab a cucumber or other agua too, so good! I'm planning to stalk them to try the strawberry horchata! Oh, and depending on when you go, there may be a wait. You will order, pay, write down your phone number, wait in your car, and they will call you when the food is ready."
"First time and won't be the last , place is clean, excellent customer service, the waitress very nice, to start with they offer you a complementary fish soup regardless of what will you order. SOUP was Delicious, my friend suggested us to order the shrimp cocktail because that's there signature item, it is great and delicious. I was in the mood to order a beer so I ordered myself a CHELADA, which is a Mexican style mug beer with lemon and salt. It was an excellent choice, highly recommend that if you are in the area definitely you must try"
"Fantastic food and cocktails. Live entertainment is great!!! Neep has beautiful mountain and sunset views."
"Tried this donut shop for the first time this morning, and it looks like a newer place that recently opened near our house. It's clearly family-owned, as it seemed like a family was running the shop when we stopped in. They were incredibly nice and welcoming, even giving us a free sample of a plain glazed donut....which was delicious. We went with a 1/2 dozen, and all the donuts were super fresh and really good. They have a solid variety, including some unique flavors like cereal-topped, red velvet, and maple bacon. Still not sure why it's called *Donuts Hot and Fresh Tacos* (I'd love to know!), but overall, a great donut spot with friendly service and tasty options. Definitely worth checking out!"
"This is a very good taco food truck to visit. I checked it out at the Country Club Farmers Market recently. You can find them here Fridays-Sundays mornings and evenings. I ordered the quesabirria tacos for myself. They were super delicious! They had plenty of meat and melted Muenster cheese in them. I LOVE MUENSTER CHEESE! It's the absolute best! It's one of my favorite things in this life! Anyway...The tacos were crispy and crunchy...just the way I like them. The consume (taco dip) was also really tasty and flavorful. You get 4 birria tacos for $10. I believe they used beef rather than goat or lamb meat. The salsas were spicy and excellent tasting as well.I'd recommend being patient with them because the tacos are made to order. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes. It was totally worth it! Sorry no pics, I ate the tacos way too fast! Lol. I saved one for Chico (my dog) and he devoured it within seconds. I also hear that the alambre (steak with melted cheese, bell peppers, onions) are also very good. They offer a variety of other tacos. So far I've only tried the birria and I was really impressed with them. I also bought a limonada agua fresca. It was perfect as well. They serve it in a large Mason jar and it's $5. The limonada wasn't too sweet or sour, it was just right. I really like the jar it's served in. I can use it for something else at home. The service was also good. I will be back for more quesabirria tacos and lemonade soon."
"This place is delicious! But what really puts it over the top is the service. The husband and wife duo running the joint are so incredibly sweet!! Has such an enjoyable experience."
"Finally great tacos in Canutillo at a super affordable price and BIG plates. If you are VERY hungry get the Torta especial. Its delicious. Al pastor tacos are very good and very inexpensive for the amount of food you. This is the best joint in Canutillo for the price and quality."
"This locations wings suck. They tasted old and the flavors were thick and gross. Even the sides were unappetizing. The cheese on fries tasted very off and the mac and cheese was disgusting.I would not recommend. It tasted nothing like wing daddy's chains ."
"Mr. Papa's is a local hole in wall located in a small remodeled strip that used to be a car wash. We tried it when it first opened and it was very good. Service was slow but friendly. Today, we opted to go again as we were deciding on a late Saturday dinner. Although it appeared it be busy, service was friendly and quick. Looks like they found their groove. The menu offers 3 taco plate options and various baked potatoes. The four of us each chose an arrachera taco plate which comes with 4 tacos and is accompanied by an open face baked potato topped with butter and melted Muenster cheese. There is a small topping bar with various salsas and toppings. I chose limes, pico de gallo and a roasted chile salsa. The hubby chose a chile de arbol salsa which he warns is very spicy! The diced meat in the tacos was very tender and juicy and the potato was baked well topped with toasted gooey cheese. We washed them all down with a cold bottled Coke. Definitely hit the spot. The owner was gracious enough to come out from behind the grill and check on us and our waiter was very attentive despite being by himself. Highly recommend for when you get a night craving for tacos or after running some errands and you need a quick break. Will definitely be back to try one of their special baked potatoes! Support your local businesses!"
"AMAZING TAMALES!!!! Bassett Place, you are on the up and up with this spot!On a whim, my husband decided to try their rojo puerco tamales and verde pollo tamal. One of the best tamales we've had in our lives! Excellent flavors, high quality masa dough, and even better portioning of the filling and dough. Which brings me to my next point of what a great tamales spot this is. If you order singles, they're only $2 each, but if you order a dozen, the total costs only $20! We are SET for Christmas. Really friendly family service as well! We had so many questions regarding our ability to order a couple dozen for Christmas and they were more than willing to take the time to answer! Fast service too which is always a win. It's located in the food court so it's just a fun atmosphere for the mall. But they also set up their spot so beautifully for Christmas and they offer special snowflake shaped bueñelos and classic disc shapes. Best part? Champurrado!!! Coming back ASAP!"
