"Though they were a little busy, they fit us in. The steak was cooked well (good) and the natural flavor shined through. Good experience and meal overall"
"What a lovely experience. Great service, cool atmosphere (a living tree in the bar), tasty drinks and a delicious steak dinner. The jalapeño bacon Mac n cheese was excellent. The bar is dog friendly so that's where we ate. The manager reminded us a little of Stephen Root. Everyone was so warm and welcoming especially our server, Casey! Try the Alpine Old-fashioned."

"Affordable, great food and the staff were so friendly. I was glad to find this gem. Definitely worth it!"
"Just arrived in MN and had our first meal here at the Peppers section of the restaurant, which was New Mexican cuisine. Food and drinks was good and the atmosphere great. Would recommend."
"This is my favorite sushi place. The food and service is always on point. I love this place."
"This is one of my favorite places in town. Love the atmosphere, love their service and especially love the food. Exceptional service with wait staff who WANTS to be of service. Great great food. Love the Mac and cheese and rib eye. Great specials daily! This is a great place for a birthday, anniversary or celebration of any kind. You MUST go here and visit. Can't wait to go back."
"I had been to Mesa St Grill before but not since it moved location. This place was great. Our server Carolina was awesome and super helpful we went for our small company party (6 people) and they even provided a small table for all our gifts. Service was great, different people helped to keep our drinks full. Pretty pricey but worth it. Good portions and tasty. I had the lobster Mac, so good and creamy. I also loved the slider appetizers.. so good. I would go back to get a Long Island and the sliders."
"Mi Piaci is the perfect spot for a date night in El Paso. My boyfriend & I came here to celebrate our anniversary last year and really enjoyed it.The bread that was brought to our table was warm & delicious. I ordered the carbonara and added grilled chicken, and my boyfriend chose the pollo alla vodka. We really enjoyed both of the pasta dishes! The atmosphere was perfect for a date or a nice dinner out. Service was great as well. Our only complaint was the price - even for our anniversary, we did spend more than expected on 2 pasta dishes. I would recommend coming here if you're looking for a fancy dining experience!"
"Ate here for the first time yesterday during their lunch hours specials (11am-3pm). The lunch hour menu items offered were under $15 and they were full size meals, satisfying my friend who was starving. Prices on the regular menu were around $20 bucks except for the steaks which were in the price range of close to $30 & $40 depending on the cut. Prices are comparable to Applebees & Chilis nowadays or Olive Garden. Then again, have you gone to Burger King/McDonalds/Wendys etc? If you order a large combo meal you are looking at close to $13 for fast food. I don't know about you but I rather eat at an actual restaurant. The food was really good. The melted queso with rajas was so goooood. Enough for 3 people with some left over. My husband enjoyed his steak lunch special, couldn't finish the whole meal though due to the queso tacos we stuffed our faces with! I had the lunch special tacos and they were good but could have used a little more fat or flavor, the meat was a little dry. My friend had the lunch enchiladas and he wiped the plate clean, truly enjoyed them. The sweet tea got the approval rating of both my husband and friend and the lemonade I ordered was refreshing and homemade! My favorite. The ambiance was nice, relaxing. The restaurant was clean, plenty of sitting room. They have another section separated by swinging doors that is the bar area. The outside has a children's playground which I found pretty neat. Let's parents enjoy their meal because the kids can use up their wild energy playing outside. The service was slow but it was just our waiter. The other two waiters working were hustling and actually took the time to help us out when our waiter was MIA (Missing in Action). All in all, I will definitely swing by this restaurant anytime I leave Cloudcroft and come down to El Paso. Aside from the service from our waiter, everything about this restaurant was A-OK with me."
"Steak was DELICIOUS! The environment was very friendly and welcoming, prices were so reasonable for the portions of food you get and the steak was perfectly cooked. Will definitely recommend The Edge of Texas over Great American. Just sayin"

I was hoping for some quality Texas meats. Instead, the food quality was about on the level with Chili's. I asked the waitress if she thought I should order the ribeye tacos. She recommended a burger instead. It was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. That said, it was a decent meal at a good price, and our kids enjoyed their food. Our table had no silverware or napkins when we sat down and it took a while to get some. The ambience was nice. Good decor and not too loud.

I was honestly surprised to find such an amazing fancy restaurant in a small town! They serve the best tortilla soup I've ever had. And the ribeye steak was cooked perfectly! We also finished off the meal with a molten chocolate cake and it was beautifully rich. Delicious food! The service was great as well! Super nice and helpful staff! And of course the ambiance was on point as well! Such cool decorations, and the fireplace was so cozy! I also had a hot toddy drink and it was made perfectly! Well done! 10/10!

I took a drive today to check out this place. It's an older restaurant so you get a different feel. Service was great. The food was also very good. I had the brunch burger special that came with an egg and I added a green chile. The burger was like a home made burger as the meat was very thick. The restaurant itself has some older furniture and the architecture of the building. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is dark and cozy, yet bustling with conversations and good music. It does not have a fancy ambiance, but it feels like a neighborhood bar and grill- east coast style where everyone knows each other. It was great to see this comfortable interaction amongst the patrons. On the back wall are locked cabinets with lattice grill fronts so you can see the contents inside. Some have several bottles in them. They all had a name plate above indicating the owner of the nice libations within. Nice touch- have not seen that anywhere else in El Paso yet. This indicates to me that the place has a strong core of regulars. The waiter, Ben, was phenomenal. The food was amazing! Wednesday night they have a Prime Rib special. The meat came with a choice of baked potato or fries. I had the perfectly cooked baked potato that was soft all the way through- delicious-and they were generous with the butter. I also opted for a wedge salad and it was good. The steaks were cooked to perfection- mine was medium rare and my dining companion had theirs medium well- both steaks were cooked perfectly. They have a nice selection of signature cocktails, as well as good coffee to end the meal...with a shareable white chocolate cheesecake. I will be back. Soon!Oh we did have reservations and it is a good thing because the place is popular.

Some of my work crew and I came here for the happy hour; we didn't know what to expect but everything tasted amazing! We ordered every item on the happy hour menu and had zero complaints. Great food, great customer service. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

It's a tranquil place, me and two friends were there for dinner. Reservations are highly encouraged, we got seated at the "bar area" not too distanced from their main dining room I guess. It is a very small restaurant, but pleasant. Service was great, food and drinks were was good.

"Really good sushi place for Midland, TX!! Seafood taste fresh, service was good, and everything was reasonably priced. We started with gyoza and calamari. The portion on the calamari was a bit small but no real complaint. Both were cooked well. Then I had a clear soup which was good. Finished off with two rolls of sushi. Would definitely recommend if someone is in the area."
"Tried this during the week in the early afternoon. I found the restaraunt to be clean. and the waitstaff was attentive. It had a nice looking bar. I ordered the captains platter which was FIsh, Shrimp, Fires and Slaw. It was excellent and I would gladly order it again. Drove back again in the evening and it was busy."
"Their bone marrow appetizer with cheese on the side is amazing! Always had outstanding service here. Inside is clean, elegant, and aesthetic."
"We were seated quickly on a Friday evening; the server was attentive and we got all our food without a long wait, considering it was busy and a bit loud. The steamed gyoza was tender, miso soup was hot, the Alaska roll and Shrimp Tempura roll were scrumptious. The salmon was mouthwatering."
"I gotta give it to this place because they offer vegetarian options on their menu. That portobello sandwich was so good! The sweet potato fries not only looked good but they tasted good. The service was good, the waitress was proactive, helpful, and nice. Never needed to look for her to ask for any extra things as she was already asking if anyone was okay. The parking can get a bit hectic when it's a weekend but nothing impossible to pull off. Had reservations for our large party which made things way easier. Didn't have to wait out in the cold. Prices are reasonable and would come back again. Provecho!"
"Sunny's was the first place I stopped at after flying in from California. I told my husband I was craving sushi and we knew we liked Sunny's because we tried the other location here in El Paso, this specific one just happened to be closer to our house.Surprisingly it was pretty busy for being a Tuesday night. A good sign that they're popular! My husband and I were seated right away and our waiter came to get our drink order pretty fast.We both really like their Crab meat puffs so we ordered one order each. Honestly I'd say that's my favorite item on their menu. I could do with just having those. They're so delicious with just the right amount of cream cheese and crab filling. For sushi I ordered the Golden California roll and my husband tried their Samurai roll. He said he liked his choice! I, on the other hand, will probably steer clear of the golden Cali roll from now on. They made the roll very wide and cut it at an angle so when I ate it I either got a bite of just the crab or the cucumber and avocado. It also fell apart very easily so it was pretty difficult to eat. I'll probably just stay with fresh rolls if they cut all their deep fried sushi the same way, it's just awkward to eat and you don't get the full scope of fillings because it's too big.Service at this location is great though! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to us during our visit.I'll still be back to try other sushi options and their delicious crab meat puffs! But I'd highly suggest staying away from the golden Cali roll."
"We came here for dinner a few days ago and it was amazing! I got a cucumber watermelon mocktail (I can't remember the name) and it was seriously the best mocktail I've ever had. I would love to try the actual cocktail version of it.Our steaks were both perfect and we tried almost all the sides- the only side we didn't love was the mashed potatoes. Everything else was so good! Our server was super nice and helpful as well. We will be back if we come back to El Paso!"
"Aylin was fantastic tonight! She served us with a smile and kept the drinks flowing. Great night, delicious food, and excellent drinks. Overall, a 100% experience! Thank you!"
"Had the hibachi meal & the chef didn't disappoint. Fried rice, veggies and steak all cooked table side. There were a few highlights and flame techniques. A wonderful experience and meal. The menu is extensive despite the grill options, including sushi. The sushi is very fresh. There's also fruit flavored sake and teas, which you don't find too often. You won't leave hungry."
"I recommend eating there... this is what I got when we got it to go. Feel like there was such a little amount of meat for $18. But the meat did taste good."
"Sid & Sams is a true rustic steakhouse. My boyfriend decided to come eat here for date night. There is a lot of parking it is right next to Planet Fitness and is in a large shopping area. It is kind of hidden but once we walked in, it feels like a old Texas restaurant. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. We never had to ask for refills she provided us with such great customer service, she checked on us frequently. They have a salad bar which was pretty good. They have a bar area towards the back which is nice, they had a huge party sitting in the back area. A great place for a company lunch or big gathering. The salad bar looked fresh and had lots of toppings the only thing that was missing for me was sunflower seeds. But that is just me I love them on my salad. We ordered our food which Is expensive but you are getting a larger serving compared to other steakhouses I have been to so I didn't mind. My boyfriend eats a lot like most men do and he didn't even finish all of his meal and he was stuffed. But if you are hungry they do have a cowboy steak that is a whopping 22oz!!! We ordered the onion ring appetizer and it was pretty large serving we had to take some home. And you get a fresh basket of bread which was pretty fluffy and fresh. The food offered here you can tell is cooked by chefs that really love and enjoy to cook. Where we were seated we could see the chefs and they looked focused and they had a lot of orders but they were on point. The wait staff also were busy but they kept a watch on all the tables and they kept the dining area and salad bar clean. Which is so refreshing to see, as soon as someone left the waitstaff immediately started cleaning the area. So this restaurant was very clean. My bf ordered a ribeye steak with fries and a trip to the salad bar comes with the meal. I ordered the filet mignon with creamed corn. The creamed style corn was very very good. My steak was cooked to perfection, I like my steak medium rare and the chef definitely achieved it. The desserts looked so good but we were too stuffed to even order. Overall the place was great. The food left me stuffed and the service was great. It wasn't too busy but I feel like it's because it was a Saturday night and today was pretty hot day so most people were staying in or choose one of the new more modern restaurants. I was pleased with this restaurant and would go back for sure."
"Their flaming hot shrimp sushi is the most delicious sushi I have ever tried. It's fried with a lot of flavor. Service was good too. We needed a party of 13 and rapidly got our table set! Thank you. Definitely come try it out."
""Borderland Steakhouse" is in the same location from former "Great American Land & Cattle Restaurant" the previous restaurant closed approximately Spring 2019 and "Borderland Steakhouse" opened a few months back (From March 2020) Beautiful location, friendly and attentive costumer service. Good food. With a party of nine they did take way longer to serve the food than expected but once the food was on the table the service and taste was so delicious I forgot all about the wait. The restaurant was not busy specially for a Sunday afternoon. I did not love their guac I felt it needed salt/condiments but they queso and salsa was spicy and delish. Steaks did not disappoint. The views of this restaurant are incredible I am looking forward to come back. They have a dance floor and bar on the 1st floor. Restaurant on the second floor."
"The food is good and service is great. Atmosphere is comfortable, prices are reasonable. Enjoyed it all thank you."
