"To begin, we were warmly greeted by the hostess as we were the 1st ones in the door on Friday (May 3) and our server was a delight. We ordered the carnitas tacos, and a single burger (which was huge) and battered fries. We also had the best beans and rice to accompany the tacos. Best of all was the chile potato chowder. Oh, my gosh, so delicious. Topped with cheese and slivers of tortillas. Perfect. The entire meal was super delicious. We hope to come back again next time we are in El Paso."

"Found this while searching for Chicago deep dish pizza on Yelp. You all led me well! The gentleman who works the bar is so friendly and knowledgeable about the business. I don't think he's the owner, but he's trusted for sure and runs the place well. Once a month they have a featured pizza which is pretty cool. The pizza remains an unsliced pie if you don't request that it be cut. I found that a little odd, but there must be a valid reason or something. If only they had black olives as a topping (one of our faves), we might actually drool. The last time we ordered to-go, we just added black olives at home hehe. Not exactly Chicago deep dish, but the closest to it you'll probably find in El Paso! This spot has easily become a new fave for me an my husband - so good! We'll be back! Highly recommended that you check it out too. I can't tell you anything about the night scene but the pizza probably taste the same during the day as it does at night."

Thumbs up to our server who did a fantastic job with keeping up with orders and actually remembering I had a sprite not a water, I am I'm not lying I probably need it anyway lol! Best thing about this place, is the sanitizer at the entrance and the online menu in your hands. I'm that type of person who is constantly on my phone, so it was nice and comforting that I could easily just get the menu that way. Thank you. Keep up the fantastic work and always wash your hands if you didn't. Totally didn't steal this from the pallet on the door."

"We got there at 8:15ish on a Wednesday night and they were already getting ready to close the kitchen.. I don't blame them, since it was dead and they can't be paying labor like that, but maybe don't catch late dinner on a weeknight like us. We were still able to order from the kitchen and bar, and I'm so glad we were! The food was really good. I got the patty melt and my husband got the brisket nachos. Highly recommend both! I also got a green tea shot and a watermelon jolly rancher shot, big fan. Our server Ethan did a great job, we felt bad that it wasn't a good money night for the servers because they were all so nice. My husband has been there when they were busier and he said the environment was great! Overall great place, we'll be back on a better night."

"It's a dive, no doubt about it. It's smokey and the crowd can get rowdy sometimes- so it may not be for everyone. The food, while not exactly healthy, is very good and very plentiful. Their Philly is the best in town, but I rarely order it because I'm a bacon addict and this place has a ton of bacon-driven menu choices including a PB&J with bacon, or a BLT that comes in a half pound or full pound option. You can even talk them into making a bacon quesadilla or just order a basket of bacon, which comes with maple syrup for dipping. (Don't tell my doctor or my wife.) Hand-cut fries, tasty onion rings, or house-made pork rinds are among the side options. Beverage-wise, this ain't a cocktail and craft beer bar, but the prices are very affordable for Midland, especially during happy hour. Stick with the basics and you'll be OK.The new patio is nice, the wait staff takes good care of their regulars, and Monday Night trivia is a blast."

"This place was very underwhelming and disappointing. If you're craving BBQ don't come here and give this place your money. The food tasted so bad and flavor less, the vibes in the bar are weird also it's a dive bar and the people taking my food orders which were the owners were not friendly at all after the fact we told them we've never been before. I've had the worst dining experience here and the BBQ food sucks and the bartender can't make a proper mixed drink. I wish I can give 0 stars. This place should be out of business or bought out. Sorry not sorry."

"I was very satisfied with my first experience here at Cabo Joe's. I came here for lunch on my birthday to get some food and drinks. It was about 1pm, on a Tuesday, and it wasn't crowded at all. I am glad my birthday landed on a Tuesday since they had a taco-tuesday special. There is plenty of seating here, and two bars. The waitress Nicole was extremely nice and helpful. I ordered their shrimp tacos along with their fish tacos. The were delicious! I love the toppings they add to their tacos (varies on the type of taco), it gives it a crunch even though they are corned soft shelled. The shrimp taco had bacon crumbles on it, which I found unique but it worked together really well. They have several selections of tacos, and will customize them if need be. On a Tuesday their tacos are only $2.00 and thats for every taco that they offer! They are usually $3.99 each which still isn't too bad for them. As for drinks, I ordered the Coronita (margarita with corona). It was made just right. For happy hour they have margaritas for $2.50 and you can add extra shots for only $2.00. Happy hour is the best time to come cause you'll save a lot and leave satisfied. I love their music selection, and the ambiance looks like it would be fun to bring a bunch of people and mingle. This was an all around great experience. I would say maybe the only room for improvement would be the guacamole and salsa, didn't have much flavor but their chips were on point! I'll definitely be back!"

"Surprised that this place is only 3.5 stars but I had to give it a shot since it was in the area. Did not disappoint. Our server Roxanne told us about the specials and gave us recommendations since it was our first time. We were in good hands as she was always very attentive. We are promptly seated on a Friday evening at 730 for a party of three. We got the all meat pizza which was delicious on the thin crust because low-carb, ya know? The classic burger was delicious with two patties and two cheeses on a sesame bun. We substituted the chips for waffle fries. Worth it at a 2$ charge. For the wings, we got a pound of spicy garlic and lemon pepper. I'm so glad we gave it a try despite the poor reviews. Maybe it's docked down so bad because of the noise level but what's to expect when there's sport games on the big screens. Thank you Roxanne for taking good care of my family."

"It's your average sports bar type of scene, pretty clean and they have lots of seating. The all-female servers are pretty scantily clad (not my thing but to each their own). The servers are very polite and cheerful.My favorite thing on their menu are the hush puppies. I sometimes will only order a side of them. I also order the fried catfish plate which is really good, but the batter isn't well bonded to the fish so you can just take it off in one big piece - which I usually do. But the fish itself is yummy and moist and probably slightly healthier."

"Looks can be deceiving, Wing Attack may look like the old wing house, but the new owners didn't just change the name, the quality of the food has improved, and the new menu has classic wing sauces along with some yummy new flavors that are worth checking out.I was impressed by how much I enjoyed the wings here, they are definitely above average in both size and flavor. The traditional buffalo sauce is very good, just the right amount of heat to go perfect with ranch or blue cheese (naturally I tried both), however my favorite flavor is Golden Spice, which is a perfect blend of spicy, tangy, and sweet, one of the more unique flavors in the Wingosphere, I highly recommend it.The service is good and there's lots of TV's playing sports, but I'm not a huge fan of the atmosphere, the place gets a little too bar-y in the evenings and personally I'd much rather keep things grill-y, I literally cringed at the sight of a DJ setting up shop and started rushing to finish my meal!"

"Dewey's, you're hella cool. Totally different from the other bars next door, but you compliment the strip very well. If you're thinking about checking this place out, I implore you to follow our lead and do a bar crawl starting at 1/8 and ending at Dewey's so you can get some eats in before.So we checked out Dewey's last and walking in I think that was a good idea since they take pub in a very literal sense and don't appear to have any food (I'm okay with this). As all the bars on this block are, Dewey's is pretty small, but it's pretty long so you could definitely fit a lot of bodies in here.They had The Red Headed Sluts on special so we did a few rounds of that. If you've never had one, they're very sweet. VERY. Their specials change from day to day so check the chalkboard.When we first got there they were playing a lot of 5-10 year old pop, but around 10 o'clock they had a DJ. I liked the music they were playing before (not to say the DJ wasn't playing good music) so if I had to guess, on the weekends it's probably less of a chill vibe and more of a dance place.The biggest appeal to me was the bartender's show. These guys flip bottles like no body's business. They even had a few choreographed tricks. They're crowd pleasers and very friendly. Even the manager is a lot of fun and isn't afraid to get out there and dance."

"Legit sports bar with a ton of TVs and a great sound system. It's a bit like hooters but more, um, revealing in attire. My buddy had the El Chuco burger and it rated it at 4 out of 10. Perhaps the taste might improve in combination with a beer from their pretty good selection of domestic beers and a handful of imported beers.They were out of deserts other than a churro with ice cream, which I did not have.The reason for the four stars was the service and I can see this being a great joint to watch a game with buds with good snacky bar food. They have wings they boast about, but I'll let someone else handle that review."
