"My visit at "The Auto Clinic" was mega positive! I did a zipcode search on texas.gov site and this shop's name came up as a place where to get my vehicle state inspection. The shop is located on Far North Dyer Street and based on its outside look and Address I was suspicious but as soon as I arrived I changed my mind. I was immediately and cordially greeted by Kody a Badass knowledgeable Veteran. The inside if the shop is absolutely awesome, if you are into cars and you intrigued by my review then you must visit. The state and emissions inspection was $18 (Feb 2020) They also do all kinds of different services, they offer military discount and 10% discount with coupon."

Alpha Motorsports

"Alpha Motorsports is one of the newer Moto / Powersports shops in El Paso. Located on the Eastside, almost directly off Lee Trevino. The hours and contact info, as well as address, is listed on the businesses page. Great shop! Great service! Great staff! I've been a long time El Paso resident and even longer time motorcycle rider. Like most, I don't have a full time garage nor a full time schedule to do a lot of the lengthy, tedious, or more technical projects on any of my motorcycles - so, I turn to the professionals. I've never been to / used Alpha Motorsports, however, I've been seeing them lately via Social Media and via word of mouth from some very trusted fellow riders that have used their services. So, I figured I'd give them a try. This task was one that could have been done at my house, but it would've taken me a very long time. So being a nearly all cosmetic job, I thought, this is a great chance to check out this shop and field the job to them. From the minute I walked in, they were very attentive, professional, polite, and even excited to do the job. I had a full set of Carbon Fiber fairings I needed installed. I brought the items to the shop. They helped me unpack them, and conduct not only an inventory of what I was giving them to install, but even inspected each item with me there to ensure they were in proper working order. That in itself is great, because it saved the hassle of having to call half way through a job and inform me they can't do it. Furthermore, as some aftermarket products do require, 3 or more of the items had to be slightly modified in order to ensure proper fit. I mention this specifically, because with my permission of course, they modified the items perfectly. Now then, had I done this at home, I would have been stuck, as I don't have the tools nor means to modify the items in the way they did. So just by taking my bike here, I saved myself a few on of curse words and throwing stuff at the wall at midnight in my garage. Their prices and services are very clearly listed in the main lobby. However, I'm not saying they don't follow them, but I will say that they will charge you a very "fair" price for the job. For example, in general there is a $95 per hour charge. That's pretty standard around here too for comparison sake. My bike was there for exactly 6 days. 1 of those 6 was a Sunday though, which they do not work (so it was there for 5 business days). The total price for the job, was about $650. Now then, at $95 an hour, that would indicate they performed 7 hours of work on my bike. I'm going to tell you, I'm positive they spent MORE than 7 hours working on it and making sure it was PERFECT! So was I charged $95 an hour? Ehhh, seems they charged me less. But, for business sake, the prices and hours are very clearly listed. Also, they do offer a 10% Military Discount. I gladly used it. They have a DynoJet ad well, which they can and will use to Tune your bike. Prices for tuning are listed as well. And having a properly tuned bike is essential to making sure it's operating at peak performance. I'm totally thrilled with the outcome and results from my first experience with them. In fact, I've already ordered a full set of BrakeTech front rotors, and floating rear rotors that are APRC compatible. Once those items arrive, I am 100% going to Alpha Motorsports to have them professionally installed. I have been a Yelp Gold Elite for 7 consecutive years now - so I'm not saying im a big deal, but I know Yelp, and I know motorcycles... with that being said, I absolutely recommend Alpha Motorsports."

AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

"My car had stopped shifting into 3rd gear the day before I drove it in your shop. I drove it in the next day told him the problem and he checked my transmission fluid and scanned my car to pull the codes. He told me the codes came back to "internal transmission failure" when it was codes for burnt transmission fluid and the overdrive solenoid/TCC. After he figured this out, he came back in and told me worse case scenario it would need a new torque converter (which doesn't make sense since it wasn't slipping) and quoted me 1500$ to replace it. He then told me it would cost 3000$ to overhaul the transmission, but it would cost me 200$ to diagnose it further. After I figured this out I was floored and decided to deal with it on my own. After one simple Google search I figured out it was TCC boost valve clip. Infact this is such a common problem with these transmissions that dodge sells an updated version of this part. I spent 40$ and two hours fixing my transmission when your shop wanted to charge me thousands. This was the first time I have taken a vehicle to a shop to have work done on it, and it was an unbelievably terrible experience. You run a shop full of thieves ."

They clean your front windshield and offer air fresheners. For all you military folks they offer military discount. They were nice and friendly. They were done in less than 30 mins. I highly recommend this to anyone if you're on a crunch and need a quick oil change."

"I called ahead to inquire about services (oil change and coolant leak repair) and duration And was told if I brought it in within the hour they could have it done by the end of the day.I dropped by vehicle off at 10am and got a text update with a link to my vehicle's status and courtesy inspection status (which is pretty cool) around 2pm. However, the text stated "Hi Ryan, your vehicle is ready for pickup at Jay's Automotive! We couldn't find any coolant leak at this time." Even though my garage floor says otherwise. What I found out later, was that there was never a diagnostic conducted they simply checked the reservoir and said there is enough coolant in it.Their building is clean and the gentleman at the front was very courteous, but dropping my vehicle off and waiting four hours for an oil change and not even attempting to look at the other issue is problematic.*Update* Jay's reached out and asked for an opportunity make a better impression. I appreciate and can respect that. Thank you!"

I called them at 3pm cause they still didn't call me with an update and they were just now working on my Free Check. 1 hour goes by and I just decided to go back before they closed to see what's going on. As I was on my way, they called me saying it was fixed and nothing major! Great, but I was confused cause they fixed my clutch issue without my permission. When I showed up, the guy told me what was wrong with my clutch and gave me the bill, $100. It was in my budget and my car works great, BUT ASK BEFORE FIXING A CAR!! That's was my only complaint, but am really happy with my car back on the road ."

I'm getting a breakfast burrito!" But my wife, who can read minds (especially mine) knocked on the window of my truck while I was gassing up and mouthed "NO!" But if you wanted a burrito, or you know, if your wife isn't psychic, there's a little joint inside that makes burritos, and they smelled pretty good when I went in to get some waters for our long road trip that lay ahead.As roadside gas station convenience stores, go, this place was pretty good. And the restroom inside was clean and stocked, so it's already better than 90% of similarly targeted businesses in Arizona and California east of Hemet.I'll probably stop in here again on my next big roadtrip on the 10. And if my wife isn't with me, I'm totally getting that burrito."

"I have been going here for decades. Employees have always been professional. Today I left my car there at 9am, there were two cars in the garages. I asked him how long it would be, so I could return. The employee said there were two cars in front of me and it would take 20 minutes. We came back after 20 minutes and it was parked in the garage so we ran some more errands. We came back after 45 minutes, and I was told it would be ready soon, ran more errands. We were called at 9:56am and told it was ready. I returned at 10:30 and told him I would not have minded if he would have told me one hour, but to tell me 20 minutes and yet it takes almost an hour is way off. He said "I don't think we took an hour" and I reiterated "almost an hour, which would be 56 minutes". He then said "well I told you there were two cars in front of you". Fortunately there are about a dozen other oil changing companies around me, I don't need to go to a place with a time challenged, obnoxious punk giving me attitude. Time to go, from this Lube 'n Go."
