"This is a quaint kitchen and mini bar that is friendly and serves good food. The place was packed with about 30 people. I ate chicken and waffles with apple slaw and fries. It was good."
"Service and the food are great here. If you haven't been here, you need to try it out. From burgers to chicken sandwiches to fish tacos along with fries and a cold drink, it is worth it."

"Came in for brunch after the Saturday farmers market right outside and the waiter recommended posole for a cold morning. Prices were reasonable and it really hit the spot, staff was very nice too. Venue is also beautiful."
"This is a Saturday night stop if you are out bar hopping. Drinks, music and good service."
"Wow -- how have I allowed this review to go without a proper update since 2016. Ripe has become one of my fave spots and their burgers and salads are now some of the things I most crave when I'm back in town visiting. Their standouts to me are their poached pear salad. Probaly one of the cleanest salads that although may seem simple it's the quality of ingredients and those damn red wine soaked pears and the sweet pear balsamic dressing that elevate your salad. If I was living in town, I would probably have this at least twice a week. That's how much I love it.Top it off with a protein and you have a super health friendly meal that'll keep you full. I opt out of the toasted cashews due to allergens and swap the goat cheese for feta. Damn now I'm here craving a salad and I don't have immediate access to one.For my sweet tooth fanatics.... get their cheesecake. You won't be disappointed and you'll regret having to share with the table."
"Frankie's is consistently good. with a wide variety of food, but the best is it's Mexican food. There's generally a way to get in depending on what time you get there. They close early, so don't plan a late night. My favorite are their shredded beef tacos. they're full of meat and delicious. But all their food is good. Recently, I had their chicken fried steak and it was awesome. I recommend you going there for breakfast lunch or dinner. They do have a lunch special, but I believe it ends at 4 o'clock. The wait staff is not exceptionally friendly, as they are always busy, but the food is well worth it ."
"The fries- what more can I say!!! Well, in addition to their amazing fries, the turkey in the club sandwich was a nice thick slice of turkey breast and there was not a ton of mayo so you could take the sandwich ingredients- the bacon and the bread was thin sliced but toasted perfectly- just a win win win for me. Oh and the coffee is spot on!The meal was entire two meals for me, so I always get a to go box as son. As my food comes out- outta sight outta mind"
"Lovely place when the weather is good, outdoor seating is nice and the shaded semi-indoor area has cool and modern vibes. I asked for whatever the best menu item was at the front counter and the crab cakes did not disappoint - they were also sold out by 1230 on a Friday. Pastries and coffee to go were also great. Solid choice with unique daily specials, wish I could've tried something from Thursday's Creole inspired menu too!"
"Been craving a Bloody Mary for weeks & when on vacation there isn't a better time! I checked yelp for breakfast / brunch spots & saw this place had a full bar and was like that's where we're going! The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, hit the spot with just the right amount of kick. Me & hubby both got the No Brainer breakfast sandwich and were surprised when I came out not exactly a sandwich more like toast with toppings. BUT don't let that deter you, it was decadent in flavor and absolutely satisfying. The fruit was ok we think they might not be in season with them being as hard as they were but what can you do! The space was clean and well kept as well as a good ambiance, and the staff were very attentive. Next time we're in the area would definitely visit again!"
"I highly recommend Charleys since they have a lot to offer. Whether you want a chicken sub or a meat sub, you get to pick and add on any extras. The extras vary from lettuce, tomatoes, to jalapeños to banana peppers, or onions. I eat here often and love it. The food is great and the best part is the deal on the back of the receipt. On the receipt if you take about 3-4 minutes to answer an online survey you can get FREE fries and a drink on your next order of a sub. The price can't be beat. $$$ Also if you use your military STAR card you save even more."
"Damn, that was good! This was one of the Top 30 meals of my life. Most definitely memorable. In fact, I usually eat super fast, but in this case, I ate slowly and savored each bite. The Chicken was great, the Wild Rice was wow, and I have never tasted carrots like that before in my life. Carrots have always been good not great to me, but whatever they did here, they nailed it! The service was also strong. They wouldn't hover but were always there once they saw you might need something. And the whole place is a good vibe. The prices are a little high, especially for El Paso, but you pay for what you get (or the other way around). Highly recommended!"
"I had the 12oz Rib-eye. Cooked medium rare. The cook was spot on. Excellently cooked. Wife had beer battered chicken fried steak. This was also cooked perfectly. Excellent customer service. The area we were seated at was open and spacious. Also had some live music during our visit. We will definitely go back when in the area."

There are lots of good options to choose from at this restaurant. My favorite is usually the chilaquiles. The mushrooms are always perfect as well. The strawberry lemonade is always delicious as well. We always have Karine as a server & she is on top of all our needs. Great atmosphere & food

We had a group of 20 people, and had the best service ever! My friend had the avocado toast. She said it was very good, but the bread was really chewy. My other friends had the house pizza and they said it was wonderful. I had the Chilaquiles made with duck, it was good and an interesting twist on an old local favorite. The tortilla chips had a lot of duck meat on top a very rich chile sauce, and of course the egg. The ambience was good, the place is so cute way off of the beaten trail. The outside grounds had a farmers market which made the trip even more interesting with Artisans selling their local wares, honey, natural rock jewelry, coffee, homemade jellies, and breads. We had a beautiful morning! Thank you Ardovinos!

Can you dig it... I just relived my 80s/90s youth in here. From the music to the arcade games to the vibe of the party goers. $5 well vodka tonics or $10.50 for Goose. You can't beat the free games. Played some NBA Jam, TMNT, Super Mario, and my favorite SF2. I didn't get to try the food, if and when I come back to El Paso, I will check out the menu.

It pains me to write a review like this, so don't be fooled by the 4-stars, which represents the experience shared by my guests, but not me. Their food was all delicious and prepared as ordered, and served by a polished, professional, and courteous server. Ripe is comfortable, and its ambience is casual and stylish without being over-the top. I wish I could say the same for my order, which I refused and didn't place an alternate order. I've been enjoying ripe for many years, since before the current ownership acquired it from its founders--a brother and sister team who were always onsite--one, the other, or both. When ownership/management is present, bad customer experiences seem to happen infrequently. On this occasion, two evenings ago, I ordered a burger medium well. Ripe's burgers are GREAT. A thick, 1/2 lb of patty ground beef served on a brioche bun, with inventive toppings if you want them. My burger came with bacon, torreados, and pepperjack cheese. Unfortunately, my guests, all who ordered salmon (excellent) received their orders first, followed by around a short, 5-minute (not too long) delay for my burger. When by burger was delivered, it looked great, but when I cut it in half to avoid making a mess of such a large burger, I discovered a cold-red center, extending outward towards the edge of the burger. I detest rare burgers--and they're unsafe to consume as well. It was a quick 5-minutes before the server came back around asking everyone if they were enjoying their dinner and everyone replied yes, but I asked if she could take my rare burger back. She agreed it was way too rare and offered to bring it back, but I politely refused, as ten minutes had gone by and everyone else was actually nearly finished enjoying their salmon.Folks, we have a meat thermometer at our house and every restaurant does, too. I'm not picky. When I order a burger medium-well, I'm happy if it comes out medium, medium-well, or well-done. I'm really disappointed if anywhere in the inside it's cold and red (not pink--bright red and raw in the middle). Personally, I prefer medium, but too often, the burger is under cooked, so avoid that by ordering medium well. My strategy fails completely when the cook is untrained, inexperienced, or too lazy to test the temperature of a 2-inch thick piece of beef. A total fail, I left hungry because I don't re-order. I've seen Road Trip and what happens when you insult the cook by returning his/her masterpiece.

Update! Food is still amazing. Inflation has hit, a is reflected in increases across the menu. The website hasn't even been updated as if this posting with the new prices. Every food item is up by $1.50-$2 or so. So my $15 lunch in the past cost me more like $20 today. Plus tip. Service was quick and efficient, they wore masks and sanitized tables and hands frequently. Some nice old jazz and big band music from the 40's playing, light conversation at the tables around me, nothing very loud or boisterous. A nice Tuesday lunch hour spot. They have daily lunch specials of tacos or enchiladas for $7.99, that's also an increase from the website price. But these mom and pops gotta do what they gotta do to stay open. Still have "now hiring" signs and also in the website. They used to have this place full of teen boys on Saturdays bussing tables and taking tea to tables, and carrying order trays Always thought they must be sons, nephews, etc., Guess they have grown up now and moved in to other jobs or places. But you still get a "family" vibe when dining here.

It's rare to visit a place that not only feels like you've come home but has you smacking your lips so hard you think about moving just so you can eat there every day. Corner kitchen has staff that are genuinely happy to be there and it shows by how they interact with you. The dining hall has a nostalgic comfort feel. Howard often feels like a heart of the community the way he welcomes newcomers and those who clearly frequent the place. But let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure and privilege to eat four different meals, a cookie and a scone. I can't choose which I loved more. The breakfast --frittata with ham and cheese and a side salad with the most perfect lemon dressing over perfectly picked greens-- was my most recent eat. I could go on and on but to sum it up-- This place is a gem. Run don't walk.

"Another Bisbee gem off the beaten track for most visitors. Great appetizers and even better burgers. Laid back roadhouse atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to come back and try the steaks. This will be on my regular visitation rounds when in Bisbee."
"Sunset Grill offers a top dining experience in Las Cruces. Views of the golf course are nice, service is great, the bar is well stocked and the drinks are always perfect. The menu has great options for any occasion, moderately priced and food quality is upscale and amazing."
"Located right at the end of a strip mall, almost subliminal. The drink menu is plentiful, choices abundant and from what I hear- food is served during daytime/lunch hours, etc. My friends and I however, are not here during those hours, always at night. The music is good, the crowd seems friendly, bartenders on point and always updated on the latest and newest drinks, Not alot to look at, but pretty cool little local place to grab a drink before venturing out into the night .All types of different ages and people-great for everyone.Outdoor area available."
"The food was as delicious as I remember it from the last time we were here, which was a few years ago. The service was pretty good, but the food did take an inordinate amount of time to get to our table. They were not too busy, but it was very worth the wait! We will be back, and hopefully, very soon. 5/5 Highly recommended."
"What a lovely experience. Great service, cool atmosphere (a living tree in the bar), tasty drinks and a delicious steak dinner. The jalapeño bacon Mac n cheese was excellent. The bar is dog friendly so that's where we ate. The manager reminded us a little of Stephen Root. Everyone was so warm and welcoming especially our server, Casey! Try the Alpine Old-fashioned."
"West Texas has it going on! The Ranch House has it all: great food, good service, and a small town ambiance that can't be beat. I had their green chili burger and proceeded to inhale it so quickly that I failed the Yelp-verse and forgot to capture the blissful burger with a pic. Trust me: drive the million miles to Sanderson, Texas for a meal at The Ranch House."
"Absolutely amazing meal..the view of the mountains was gorgeous too. Drinks were strong and the chicken fried steak with Brussels were pretty dang good. 10/10 would recommend"
"Went to have a few drinks with my girlfriend and enjoyed the open air patio. The top level is not opened til after 6pm. The drinks are and si are their tapas. We had the sausage which was delicious. The fried green beans with mustatd aoli sauce. And some seasoned fries. The service was sub par. I would definetly return. Very affordable."
"nice to know my review could get deleted. fantastic. in essence, don't eat at los compas. bad food. terrible food. food was hot and cold and burnt all at the same time. i expected gordon ramsey to jump out of the kitchen at any moment and start screaming obscenities at the wait staff for being so apathetic. we should have known something was wrong when we walked in when it should be a dinner rush and were the only ones in there. you could hear crickets. also, way overpriced! we've been to way better establishments and had much better food for a fraction of the price you'd pay for the nastiness served at this place.not sure why my previous review was deleted. you can't just delete a review because it's negative. how else is anyone supposed to get an honest look at a place?update:seems my other review is back. not sure what is up with that..."
"Gila Hank's Cafe is now operated by directly by Eastern Arizona College. The menu has been expanded, and the facility has been updated. The food is top notch and inexpensive. They have added fresh in-house baked goods which can stand up to any bakery. The friendly staff keep the place clean and inviting. The only drawback is that sometimes it fills up: the word is out that this is the place to eat in town."
"Salad Bar is fresh and has a huge variety! (a lot like old school sizzlers this place) except they have a cook who gets down on some ribs! They fall apart delicious flavor. Green Chili bread with butter on a board and they run out it's in high demand. If you want a good meal with lots of choices this is your place! We absolutely love how they take care of us and also love all the take home food It's a sure thing. A good meal. Clean nice atmosphere has a cute little bar in it. It's lively always packed. They serve a Blue Moon that is unmatched! We travel the USA but Wranglers will serve you up the freshest crisp most enjoyable Blue Moon! Man I look forward to it! And they do run out! Go to place for those days you just want a good beer and good food. Sit back and relax enjoy ambiance - The Boyd's"
"I have eaten here in the past. Their burgers are what you would expect from a golf course bar and grill. Unfortunately, we had a party of 8 and it was too much. One of our group had the specialty hot dog and fries - cold.... Today I decided to try their Mexican food, they are in Las Cruces, so this should have been a good choice. I had the huevos rancheros with green chile and they were AWFUL. All a function of the sauce. It tasted like mostly pureed unions with garlic and a green color. To have chile that tasted this bad in southern New Mexico is a real shame. Service was mediocre at best, my iced tea was never refilled. Maybe with enough beer this would have seemed acceptable."
"Came for breakfast on Saturday morning. They opened a little later than we were hoping for, but it ended up worth our wait. We ate outside, since the weather was perfect. My husband ordered the Chihuomelet with a side of veggies, and ordered the Farmers omelet with a side of bacon. My husband's omelet was super tasty. My omelet was divine!! One of the best omelets I've ever had! The sauce was absolutely amazing! The bacon on the other hand was rather disappointing- it was obviously just reheated bacon. All the other ingredients seemed fresh, so I'm not sure why they cut corners on that one."
"I had been to Mesa St Grill before but not since it moved location. This place was great. Our server Carolina was awesome and super helpful we went for our small company party (6 people) and they even provided a small table for all our gifts. Service was great, different people helped to keep our drinks full. Pretty pricey but worth it. Good portions and tasty. I had the lobster Mac, so good and creamy. I also loved the slider appetizers.. so good. I would go back to get a Long Island and the sliders."
"It's your average sports bar type of scene, pretty clean and they have lots of seating. The all-female servers are pretty scantily clad (not my thing but to each their own). The servers are very polite and cheerful. My favorite thing on their menu are the hush puppies. I sometimes will only order a side of them. I also order the fried catfish plate which is really good, but the batter isn't well bonded to the fish so you can just take it off in one big piece - which I usually do. But the fish itself is yummy and moist and probably slightly healthier."
"The food is filling, the burgers come out hot and juicy, the fries are crispy and the setting of the restaurant takes me back to a little diner I used to grow up going too. I recommend this place completely, it is a little pricey in terms of cost of food but I do also agree it is great food for what you're getting. The service was awesome they made sure to greet us as we came in and left and we patient with us the whole time while we took forever to order. Recommend giving this place a chance and don't think you'll be disappointed"
"Love coming here especially on an evening when the weather is nice. They are dog friendly and make amazing drinks. I had the Texas mule and the bang bang shrimp. Really good food. I'll have to try out their brunch next."
"Last day of our Hatch/Las Cruces trip and couldn't leave without one last stop for breakfast. The Shed upon arrival had quite a long line, but thankfully it went quickly. Unlike our heated mornings in Tucson, the high 80s were very pleasant. Our waitress was very friendly and personable and she put up with all our quirky personalities in our party of 5. I ordered the quiche which was cooked to perfection. It was tasty, moist and HUGE!!! Our group ordered the Migas and the Old Mesilla Bkfst, They offered homemade bread and 2 of us opted for cinnamon raisin, while others had regular toast and tortillas. Everything was hot, tasty and with a smile. See y'all next year!"
"This is a new location and much needed in this section of town. The bartenders are on point and have fabulous Saturday brunch cocktails- just enough booze to get you feeling good about the day ahead. Some of my favorite items are the Monte Cristo sandwich, French Toast sandwiching turkey, ham and Swiss cheese, with stone ground mustard and cranberry jelly on the side, and my other favorite is the blueberry pancakes. I cannot tell you how good these pancakes are- they are covered with lemon curd and dusted with powdered sugar and almost seem like a dessert. Both these items come with a side, and I usually get the bacon- three thick slices of perfectly cooked peppercorn bacon...and lots of black coffee."
"I had been wanting to come here for quite some time and yesterday was the day. I have a series of appointments post eye surgery and they have to dilate my eye so I can't drive. I have an Army pal who is retired and they take me to my eye appointments; in return, I take them for lunch. Kit is a win win situation and I get to catch up on all the news about everyone we knew. This trip, we came to Taft-Diaz. We were seated immediately and waited in- what took long was for the food to come out! They have nice lunch specials that are very tasty and small portions- this is perfect for lunch so you are not falling asleep after. Plating was Pinterest worthy and service was great. The ambiance is great for a nice date out."
"I enjoy visiting Juicery Plus because I prefer plant-based options. This week, the lunch special was vegan discada tacos, which come with a house juice. The tacos were excellent, served with four corn tortillas piled high with discada. The salsa that accompanied the dish provided just the right amount of heat. I also ordered the animal fries as a starter, which are always a must-have for me. However, I did take away one star due to the wait time. I know that whenever I order from here, I can expect to wait at least 15 minutes or more. I always try to preorder, but their website doesn't consistently list the "weekly specials.""
"Been watching what I eat & places that have a kids option is super important to me so my daughter can eat as well. I was so impressed by my meal, my daughters meal & the customer service ! Went during lunch time and they didn't offer to much for kids for lunch but after I requested at least fruit for my daughter they came out with the yogurt and fruit cut up for her , so sweet! My lentils soap was so good & I finished my sandwich so quick it was so creamy and the bread was toasted perfect. I would definitely be going back"
"Towards the end of last year, I was craving tamales. I got them from my usual place, and I saw an ad for theirs online. So I decided to try this place as well. And because I'm never satisfied order just one thing, I also got snacks to go with my tamales. I ordered the violet hummus, buffalo cauliflower, a Matcha granola donut, And a half dozen corn poblano and a half dozen jackfruit Rojo tamales. The Violet hummus is what I call Violet hummus. That color was SOOOOO bright, but so was the taste. It comes with toast pieces and sweet potato puree as well. Topped with sprouts and pine nuts, it was filling by itself. The Buffalo cauliflower was drowning in sauce, but that's okay, as the sauce was a nice heat. My only wish was that the florets were crunchy. The vegan ranch was a nice companion, though it would benefit with some thinning (as would I). There were a plethora of vegetarian sticks on the side. The Matcha granola donut was okay. A bit on the small side and the citrus and the coconut overpowered any green tea flavor. Now as for the tamales (which was what I went for originally), Are usually do not like red tamales or jackfruit as much, but I preferred these to the green. They had a nice rojo taste, and it wasn't to jackfruit -forward flavor but it had a nice consistency. The corn poblano tamales needed more poblano and some kind of seasoning in it. They were kind of bland and all I could really taste was the masa. Overall, this was a good experience to increase my rating from the last time I went. I would say picking up or eating there is definitely better than the long distance meal prep."
