"Yes, I was thinking of Napoleon Dynamite too! Fresh made chips and salsa! I would say that's the highlight of this place. I ordered their fajitas since they claimed it was their "famous" fajitas. I went with the steak and it came steaming still frying on a skillet; gosh I love that sound! It came along with some flour tortillas, rice, beans, and pico. The rice and beans were okay, but the pico was great! It had a kick I gather because of the green chili. As for the fajitas steak, I felt like I had to eat it quick because it was frying so fast that I didn't want it to overcook. Some pieces did and became crunchy. I wish they had left it somewhat rare so that as it layed on the skillet, it would allow it to cook to the temperature I would want to eat it. Service was pretty good and the place had a store front vibe. I would come back for the chips and salsa for sure!"

"I've been passing by this food truck for almost two weeks, so I finally decided to give it a try today. I'm willing to give this establishment 3.5 stars. For almost $10, I think you can give a little more food IMHO like rice and beans. I think you can get four tacos for around $5.00 in town. For convenience of location and saving some of my lunch time for not having to travel further to other taco shops, I'm willing to pay some more. Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me).Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments. Orders came out fairly fast...about 5 minutes. I can handle that even during extreme heat waiting under the sun these days."

"When there's a huge line and a fat kid eating on a window decal, you know I gotta check it out. Finished with my yearly dental cleaning, I saw Gorditas Tony across the street and decided to check them out. Reviews were mixed because of service, but the line moved quickly and the lady taking the order was super nice! They didn't have Barbacoa (only on Sunday) so I got an Asasdo de Puerto gordita instead.The only time I had a gordita was at Cafe Mayapan and it's definitely a less refined version here. The gordita itself is flour and thick like a pita bread. They stuff it with pork in red sauce and it's good. A little salty, but flavorful and not spicy at all (yes, wimp alert). I regret not getting 2 because they're pretty cheap $3.50 and I had to share with hubby since he loves stews. Please be patient with this small business, looks like it's popular with workers and convenient, but I only saw 3 workers, one in the back stacking crates/handling the front in case someone walked in for takeout, one cook, and the lady in the window was not only taking orders on the phone but at the drive thru as well and ringing people up. I look forward to going back and trying out the other flavors. #supportlocal"

"Needed a place on our first night here in Pecos. Nice small place when you walk in but they do have a back room so enough seating room. They had the place decked out for Christmas with lots of decorations as well as a tree, pretty cool that they did that. Got chips and salsa when we got seated, crisp chips with a salsa with a bit of a bite, not overly spicy but just a nice bite. I ordered the beef enchilada plate with red sauce, rice and beans and Bobbie got the asada gordita plate also with rice and beans. Both the rice and beans had good flavor with the beans covered with cheese. My enchiladas were good sized with lots of ground beef inside and a really good red enchilada sauce that had a bite as well as covered with cheese. Bobbies gorditas were stuffed with loads of asada that had a great flavor and the gorditas themself had a good masa flavor. Overall this was a good choice for dinner."

The flavor is great, soft and well seasoned. They give you a little salsa setup and be warned these are not for the faint of heart. The guacamole was awesome and very often this style of guac can lack flavor, not here!It's a small establishment so I'm sure it might get full during rush times. They offer breakfast too and they have $1 taco Tuesdays! There's parking in the back, they also take debit."

"We ended up at this place for lunch last minute. We walked it it was dark and gloomy, not much people in main seating area. More noise at the bar. Looks like a family owned restaurant. Not that busy. It took about 25-30 mins to get our food out. I ordered a cheeseburger with added green chili and bacon. My friend had the 3 item combination plate. I wasn't feeling mexican food, but I did snack on the free chips and salsa. The chips were warm and fresh. I enjoyed my burger everything was good. I got crinkle fries with it. My friend said her food was good as well. The only thing I didnt like was the smell of cigarettes when you walk in. I am not sure why restaurants in Texas have so many smoker friendly places."

It's dated, but it's clean and functional. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich and it was probably the blandest chicken fried steak sandwich I've had in a while. Lettuce and tomato on the side, which is fine, but putting them on the sandwich was impossible because the American Cheese used on this sandwich welded the entire thing together. There was no removing a bun to add the lettuce and tomato.The french fries had zero salt. Great for the health conscious, but I ended up putting a LOT of salt on the fries to give them some flavor as well.Always eat local, and this location is fine enough, but I don't know if I'd make a trip to Lordsburg just to eat here."
