"Yes, I was thinking of Napoleon Dynamite too! Fresh made chips and salsa! I would say that's the highlight of this place. I ordered their fajitas since they claimed it was their "famous" fajitas. I went with the steak and it came steaming still frying on a skillet; gosh I love that sound! It came along with some flour tortillas, rice, beans, and pico. The rice and beans were okay, but the pico was great! It had a kick I gather because of the green chili. As for the fajitas steak, I felt like I had to eat it quick because it was frying so fast that I didn't want it to overcook. Some pieces did and became crunchy. I wish they had left it somewhat rare so that as it layed on the skillet, it would allow it to cook to the temperature I would want to eat it. Service was pretty good and the place had a store front vibe. I would come back for the chips and salsa for sure!"
"I've been passing by this food truck for almost two weeks, so I finally decided to give it a try today. I'm willing to give this establishment 3.5 stars. For almost $10, I think you can give a little more food IMHO like rice and beans. I think you can get four tacos for around $5.00 in town. For convenience of location and saving some of my lunch time for not having to travel further to other taco shops, I'm willing to pay some more. Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me).Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments. Orders came out fairly fast...about 5 minutes. I can handle that even during extreme heat waiting under the sun these days."
Best in town. A sizzling skillet filled with steak strips or grilled breast served with bell peppers, onion, guacamole, pico de gallo, charro beans, and pipping hot corn or flour tortillas.

"Great little hole in the wall! Service was great as well as food. It doesn't have many reviews but don't let that stop you."
"If you know El Paso, you know Chico's Tacos. If you eat at Chico's Tacos, you have tasted El Paso. Like the city from which it arose, Chico's cuisine is a hodgepodge, a potpourri, a mixed bag, a glorious gallimaufry of flavors that in its presentation and arrangement, serves as a metaphor for the local culture.Want tacos? Sure - but they come rolled up like Mexican flautas in a red sauce topped with shredded American cheese on which you can add New Mexican green chile sauce. Want a hot dog? You got it - the weenie comes sliced up inside a hamburger bun with chili, mustard, onions - your classic chili dog components. Fries? Crinkly and delicious.Security guard inside because it can get a little rowdy here late at night? Check. If you come to El Paso, come to Chico's. It is the first stop for returning natives, and the last stop of a great night out on the town."
"Outstanding food! Friendly service. My gf just moved here from Chicago so we have been trying different places to eat at and some of the places were just awful. So we decided to try a local food truck and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious! My friend had carne asada sopes and I had carne asada tacos with rice and beans. It was so fresh and yummy we were moaning while eating...lol. We will definitely continue to spread the word and repeat over and over again."
"The complimentary chips and salsa here are delicous! The drinks comes in huge cups. I ordered a guacamole tostada which comes with beans and rice. The tostado was a bit flavorless though. Order something with meat. Prices are reasonable. The fried ice cream is huge. Didn't even eat the bowl."
"Desebrada tacos were terrible, tasted like old oil. Meat was mushy and nothing else. Flautas are ok but just that."
"We were driving thru from PHX, AZ. We got the brisket plater and the chili relano. Omg, it was sooooo gooood! Az has mexican food, this place just as good!! Great service and food!! Ohhh and its BYOB. Love it!!"
"Delicious Mexican antojitos like corn in a cup and papas locas. Also got this Clamato which was amazing!!! Great service, very friendly employees. Credit cards accepted which is a plus on Alameda. The menu is very diverse, they have flair as, aguas frescas, and ice cream and fresas con crema. The seating area is a bit small, but this place is definitely worth a stop."
"I've tried a variety of menu items there. Shrimp cocktail, caldo de res, mexican plate, tortas, tacos, etc. all authentic and delicious. The only wish my family had was that they had a taco plate in the kids meals."
"Best tacos in townAl pastor tacos are the bombGreat catering for any type of event."
"When there's a huge line and a fat kid eating on a window decal, you know I gotta check it out. Finished with my yearly dental cleaning, I saw Gorditas Tony across the street and decided to check them out. Reviews were mixed because of service, but the line moved quickly and the lady taking the order was super nice! They didn't have Barbacoa (only on Sunday) so I got an Asasdo de Puerto gordita instead. The only time I had a gordita was at Cafe Mayapan and it's definitely a less refined version here. The gordita itself is flour and thick like a pita bread. They stuff it with pork in red sauce and it's good. A little salty, but flavorful and not spicy at all (yes, wimp alert). I regret not getting 2 because they're pretty cheap $3.50 and I had to share with hubby since he loves stews. Please be patient with this small business, looks like it's popular with workers and convenient, but I only saw 3 workers, one in the back stacking crates/handling the front in case someone walked in for takeout, one cook, and the lady in the window was not only taking orders on the phone but at the drive thru as well and ringing people up. I look forward to going back and trying out the other flavors. #supportlocal"

We found this place, living here in Deming, New Mexico. It always looks filled up, and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Today I had the Fajitas Carne. First off price, it was $11.99. Unbelievable price, succulent tender steak strips, with a hint of seasoning, very pleasant on my pallet. Strips of white onion, charred to perfection, strips of green pepper, sautéed, and a little charred the way it should be. On a sizzling platter, no less! There was a cup of frijoles or beans, so incredibly flavorful, there was a little pico de gallo, I think I spelled that right, small diced jalapeño, tomato, onion, with slivered iceberg lettuce, there was guacamole, and OHHH! Flour tortillas, my favorite. The missus and I had iced tea, to go with our meal. I'm telling you, our glasses were never empty. I forewarned our server, Minnie, that today I was a very thirsty boy, she brought us a carafe of iced tea, and we managed to empty it, three times. The tea was a little dark, and the tea flavor was really good, I used to sweeten my tea, but I discovered that unsweetened tea really quenches my thirst...hahaha today it was so delicious I had to have more. Our lunch came to $23.41, and we were stuffed. Less than $25 bucks in this day and age is a tremendous bargain for two people. I HIGHLY recommend La Fonda in Deming, for lunch or dinner. The other night we tried their taco's. OMG, so delicious, practically melts in your mouth, pulled beef roast in there!

This place is great. The steak tacos are to die for. The only thing I would say is that it is quite expensive. A little pricey for their 6 tacos lunch menu item. It ended up costing and being over $2 a taco. My advice is that if you are really hungry, I highly suggest getting the torta, which is also really good and filled with tons and tons of meat and comes with their homemade salsas -- the red salsa is firey spicy!!! The green salsa is a lot more milder. This is definitely a great go to spot in the area

Excellent service, the people that work there are always friendly. Hands down the best Chile verde in town. Excellent red enchiladas and everything on breakfast menu that I've tried has been great. I love the huevos divorcidos, the Denver omelette, the skillets are good. It's a lot of food.

This is the BEST food truck in Las Cruces. A wide variety of choices, I had the Birria Raman and OMG it was excellent! The service was outstanding even though it was PACKED! They have places to sit outside if you want to stay, I took mine home.

Loved it. The red has some impressive heat and flavor. Great chips and salsa too. I got the Mexican combo plate with red. Every thing on that plate is five star but their little taco is so good. I'll be stopping here again

Excellent food. Service was fast and great. The menu is extensive. Small place but we'll worth visiting. They are well known for their flautas and I totally agree. They were crispy and the filling was just the right portion. Topped off with sour cream, guacamole and salsa in a banner style. The gorditas with tripas, super great and tasty.

"Absolutely full of taste, freshness and they were GENEROUS with each burrito!! Gotta try this place!"
"Everything was fresh and flavorful. Loved their chicken enchiladas, shrimp ceviche, carnitas, queso and fresh/unique tortilla chips! We also ordered the beef and chicken fajitas which came with stuffed jalapeños and grilled cactus. For my taste buds, most dishes were quite spicy, but this is a personal. On that note, their red sauce was even spicier than their green sauce. Fabulous all the way around..."
"Needed a place on our first night here in Pecos. Nice small place when you walk in but they do have a back room so enough seating room. They had the place decked out for Christmas with lots of decorations as well as a tree, pretty cool that they did that. Got chips and salsa when we got seated, crisp chips with a salsa with a bit of a bite, not overly spicy but just a nice bite. I ordered the beef enchilada plate with red sauce, rice and beans and Bobbie got the asada gordita plate also with rice and beans. Both the rice and beans had good flavor with the beans covered with cheese. My enchiladas were good sized with lots of ground beef inside and a really good red enchilada sauce that had a bite as well as covered with cheese. Bobbies gorditas were stuffed with loads of asada that had a great flavor and the gorditas themself had a good masa flavor. Overall this was a good choice for dinner."
"This is really a great family-cafétéria style Mexican restaurant. Ample space, repaid and efficient service. Great salsa and chips to start. I had a business meeting with my CPA Robert, who has been coming here for decades. The restaurant still has two Mediterranean dishes on their menu including some kebabs. Their lunch special is really a great value with delicious crunchy tacos and some enchiladas. It was rich and delicious! Will definitely be back."
"Excellent food. Definitely a place to go for some authentic tastes. We almost didn't go here based on some old reviews. The service was good. Food was good. I did order too much food, I didn't realize the servings would be so large. I'll definitely come back here whenever I'm in the neighborhood or even passing through."
"We felt like family walking into this restaurant. The service at this family owned restaurant was unbeatable and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My husband and I had #2 combination plate and our son had a cheeseburger. I highly recommend this place."
"The food is great! They treat us like family! Best salsa!! Try their Tortas and their chilequiles."
"Awesome little hidden gem in south central El Paso. We went in for tacos, and ordered buche, barbacoa and bistec. I personally loved the barbacoa while my boyfriend loves their buche. The flavor is great, soft and well seasoned. They give you a little salsa setup and be warned these are not for the faint of heart. The guacamole was awesome and very often this style of guac can lack flavor, not here! It's a small establishment so I'm sure it might get full during rush times. They offer breakfast too and they have $1 taco Tuesdays! There's parking in the back, they also take debit."
"We ended up at this place for lunch last minute. We walked it it was dark and gloomy, not much people in main seating area. More noise at the bar. Looks like a family owned restaurant. Not that busy. It took about 25-30 mins to get our food out. I ordered a cheeseburger with added green chili and bacon. My friend had the 3 item combination plate. I wasn't feeling mexican food, but I did snack on the free chips and salsa. The chips were warm and fresh. I enjoyed my burger everything was good. I got crinkle fries with it. My friend said her food was good as well. The only thing I didnt like was the smell of cigarettes when you walk in. I am not sure why restaurants in Texas have so many smoker friendly places."
"The server and other assorted staff were super friendly, attentive, and cordial. They were the best part of our experience. The interior reminds me a little bit of a Howard Johnson's. It's dated, but it's clean and functional. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich and it was probably the blandest chicken fried steak sandwich I've had in a while. Lettuce and tomato on the side, which is fine, but putting them on the sandwich was impossible because the American Cheese used on this sandwich welded the entire thing together. There was no removing a bun to add the lettuce and tomato. The french fries had zero salt. Great for the health conscious, but I ended up putting a LOT of salt on the fries to give them some flavor as well.Always eat local, and this location is fine enough, but I don't know if I'd make a trip to Lordsburg just to eat here."
"Ambiance: 4/5 Small with less than 10 tables. Played great mexican music. I appreciated the large menu screens behind the register.Service: 5/5 As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the cashier. She was kind enough to go through the menu with us and made some recommendations. She also checked on us even after we had gotten our food. Food: 4/5 The milanesa torta is one of their most ordered menu items. It was pretty good. I liked that it came with avocado and a side of fries. This is definitely a great spot if you are craving tortas. Price: 5/5. Everything was on the cheaper end. You definitely get a pretty heavy torta for what you pay for. They do have promo deals on certain days so its something to take advantage of. Will definitely go back."
"What a gem this little restaurant is! Amazing food, friendly and efficient service, and Irma... we felt like family, and she prepares the food herself with love and skill. Drive to Columbus and eat here. You will not regret it! I had ranchero eggs, and the combination of ingredients was delicious. Really good iced tea too!"
"It is so great to find obscure eateries that are far above 5 stars! While it is true that I'll eat anything when biketouring, this place was a delicious surprise. Owner/manager Eddie saw to it that my quesadillas were the best ever, and I can't disagree. Just because I'd been pedaling for many hours and was hungry anyway didn't make any difference--this small place was crowded with a constant flow of customers who concurred with me: highly delicisou and quality food at a great price. I know I'll return, and bet that once you've enjoyed their tasty dishes, you, too, will be back. I guarantee it--telll'em "Juanito" sent you!"
"Great Selection Of Burritos At A Good Price Service Was Prompt And The Burrito Was Very Good Highly Recommend This For Breakfast Lunch Dinner"
"Amazing posole! Great service and affordable prices. Flour tortillas were great too! We will be back"
"Slow day at lunch and it was just me so very quick service. I ordered and 5 minutes later my caldo de res appeared. The caldo was average, could be fresher , but perfectly edible. I actually liked their refried beans which was surprising as I'm very picky on beans . I liked that they give you both red and green salsas but the salsas were average in flavor.Overall not a bad place and I needed somewhere to eat while I got my car worked on across the street but I wouldn't be back except out of convenience."
"Great bar you have the option to go party it up or lounge in their second area. Definitely will be back. Good selection of premium liquor and beer."
"Great food for the price. Good service friendly and amazing aguas frescas . They have pagers to let you know when food is ready. So you're even able to wait in car until your food is made. Great food truck ."
"I absolutely loved the beef enchilada and red sauce. Reminds me of several favorites long missed.Great food!"
"Amazing foodAmazing atmosphere Amazing serviceCelebrated my wife's birthday and the couches in the back made a very pleasant diner, the decoration of the entire building is Mexican traditional, is very warm and delightful. Will definitely come back. Although, I do have some suggestions:- Add more non vegan options.- More variety of drinks would be good."
"We stopped here becausee it said they have outsside seating but they don't. (We are traveling with our dog.) It's not very big inside, I counted 7 tables. But it's clean and looks to be well run. I got the fish tacos. It comes with 3 tacos, rice & beans. Nice, tasted great. My SO ordered carne asadaa quesadilla and chili relieno which was wonderful.Nice people, fast service, reasonable priced, what's not to like?"
"Awesome food, really filling, and well priced. What else is there to say. People there are legit, and the food is... amazing. They've got Burritos, Burgers and Tacos; and more. I was honestly quite amazed at this place, quite small, but damn... is the food good."
"I used to come to this place during high school for lunch or after practice...They are delicious and taste exactly the same-- Just wish they had more lunch specials like before!"
