"We were just in the area for work and after we were done for the day, we decided to check out a place that sells "Western Wear." We were told that Starr was the place to go in the area where lots of people coming from across state and country borders to purchase anything "cowboy." We were told that this is a new location within the Sunland Park Mall occupying a space that was previously Macy's. When you walk it you can already see the western wear. Whatever it is that you are looking for, you should be able to find it. Warning though, the clothing they have here is quite expensive. I am not too familiar with Western Wear brands but most of what they sell here are name brand prices and in general pretty solid clothing.That being said, if you're looking for a souvenir or something to take back with you, this may not be that location. If you enjoy wearing that type of clothing day to day and wanted to find something that was fashionable and modern, then perhaps they carry what you're looking for. They do have boots, hats, caps, jackets, jeans, shirts, pocket knives, and a bunch of clothing for the "outdoor worker."Interesting to look through but ultimately didn't find anything that caught my eye. They have two stories here so be sure to look at everything. Plenty of parking outside. If you're in the area and are interested in this type of clothing, then worth checking out but I was a little underwhelmed."

"Being a female in the 21st century means there four things I can't live without...food, girly cocktails, sleep, and shopping. And if you're a shop-o-holic (or even a window shop-o-holic) and your not shopping at boutiques, you're doing it wrong. Get your butt down to Mesa and start your shopping journey at V&X!V&X is such a cool space. Women's on the left, men's on the right and two black sleek chairs in the middle in front of the table with accessories. They have a great selection for women and it seems as though they only purchase one in each size (small, medium and large only) for each shirt, blouse and dress. There are a few other boutiques in town with the same buying tactics and even though it's totally depressing when you find something super cute, but not in your size...I'd rather know that I won't run into 20 other chicks at the Garden with the exact same dress and it's a plus that this allow stores to bring in more mech sooner.Pricing is totally affordable. I bought a color block dress for $38, an infinity ring for $5 and a double ring for $8. And those prices are full price, so when stuff goes on sale or they have discounts I already know where I'm spending my paycheck. Oh ya, and get the frequent shopper card, every other purchase is discounted."

I finally got to shop in-store and found a unique piece. This is a really cool and fun store and the owners are fun and friendly. They called a couple of times to ensure that I would be able to get into the store and I am glad they did."

"Went in to make a return for my husband, the date was well under 30 days, tags attached to the shirt, receipt and card both present. But in order to process the return they asked for my entire personal info.... Without giving them my personal info they would not process the return even if in the return policy they did not state that. This was a bad experience also ruined my very first impression of them. They asked me for my name, last name, phone number, email AND address. They said it was to keep up with my returns, I don't think we want to continue shopping when they made me feel this uncomfortable making me give my personal information."

"I had a gift card which locked me into this specific store. I probably could have found something online but the fact remains that in-store purchases have only a single saving-grace quality: you can actually try the product before purchase. They were out of a few pairs of shoes that would have been my first couple of choices (Nike running shoes) so I decided to go the Adidas route and was satisfied with my purchase, no buyers remorse or regret. Do you really need 4 people during the morning shift? Oh wait I forget, most of these shoes are made in asianic sweat shops for pennies on the dollar and are resold for hundreds. Guess Michael Jordan can live with that fact when he banks 7% annual royalties from Nike for his Jordan brand. Anyways, decent spot with a bunch of hungry employees trying to make a sale... they aren't on commission, right??"

There was a shady ATM machine by the registers and there was like a $4 fee to get money out. I dont know if that was just a one time thing because their system was down, or if it is always cash only. Either way, we will be returning on our next trip to el paso !"

"I was listening to Macklemore and funnily enough came across a funky thrift shop the same day wandering Downtown El Paso. I'm gonna pop some tagsOnly got twenty dollars in my pocketI, I, I'm hunting, looking for a come-upThis is f* awesomeIt truly is awesome. The hallway is a bit creepy with the drippy smiley faces, but it's super clean and well organized. There's a section for refreshed shirts redesigned with their logo and if you buy one they plant a tree. The service was superb, she explained the sales racks, and the different sales going on. The prices were a bit high, but there's a big bin in the corner where if you're willing to dig, you can find some treasures. It was 3 for $10 and I got some almost new Tshirts for my son and a Rocawear jacket for myself. My friend got some cute vintage Disney shirts and sweaters for her trip to Disney this summer. My friend also found a $2 ring and I was highly tempted to buy a $25 Fendi bag that has the strap redone. I highly recommend stopping at the store to explore. Even just for the super cute wall outside for a photo op. "At this point, we have driven to every corner of El Paso and we managed to find every medically related store possible looking for supplies. Today we were looking for white coats and face protection and AJ's Uniforms was the only place close to us that had these available. Whether you're looking for scrubs, white coat or danskos, AJ's has got you covered. They also have stethoscopes and other medical clothing that you need if you work in a hospital. They don't have medical supplies, however, so you'll have to find an alternative place for your tongue depressors, ultrasound gel, etc.People were friendly and extremely helpful. Not very many parking spots by their building and it was quite busy even though we came late on a weekday before they closed. Take a look at the pictures to see other things they have that I didn't list."

El Paso is great like that thus the nickname sun city.I consider myself a hat connoisseur, so, I know what I am talking about. First off he was closing; we didn't realize we had just moseyed on down to that side of the plaza. It is located on the east corner of the plaza square. He had already turned off all the lights. When we walked in he called his wife and said hold dinner. I didn't feel obligated to buy I just thought it was sweet.He turned on the lights and showed me to the "ladies room" hats ranging from 18.00-50.00. He had all season hats but a lot of straw type with UV ratings of 30spf-50spf.I bought a great hat that I would never find in regular dept. stores. It is a black straw hat with a firm band for the wind or convertibles. It also has a stylish brim not too large to be a southern belle but large enough to keep the sun off my face.A definite go back every time I am in Cruces."

At a glance it looks like one of the CD and DVD stores of yesteryear (RIP Tower Records), but movies are a small part of the store, what I love is all the cool and random merchandise from movies, TV shows, and comic books; it's one of my go-to places for awesome Batman, Star Wars, and GoT stuff! It's also a very easy place to lose track of your time and money, like a casino, only you get to walk away with something!"
