For a small place, there is still plenty of seating without feeling like you're on top of your neighbor. Lots of menu options to choose from. Current favorites are the southwestern and caterpillar rolls. For non-sushi people, their beef bulgogi is a tasty alternative! I wish they'd bring back some sake, beer, wine though..."

"Tried with a group of friends and had a good selection to try from. Tried the gyoza, salmon sashimi, Lava roll, caliente roll, chicken katsu bento and Tempura ice cream with mochi. The gyoza is decently flavored but is not an item that I would drive that far to eat. The salmon sashimi didn't have a bad odor, however, it didn't taste fresh which was disappointing. Given we aren't by the coast, I wouldn't expect that freshness here.The Lava roll is was flavorful, however, it's a Americanized version which was definitely not authentic. I would order it again if I go back. The caliente roll wasn't my favorite; it was not fresh or flavorful. The chicken katsu bento was underwhelming since the chicken was less than a cm thick which felt like if I was eating fried bread crumbs unfortunately, don't order it if you are looking for some real katsu.The dessert wasn't a bad option to try, it had decent flavor of the macha ice-cream and tempura was a little bit thick; however, it wasn't disappointing."

"I just moved to the area about 2.5 years ago and am used to having sushi on a regular basis in a major metropolitan area where the sushi places outnumbered the steak places. I was SO worried that I wouldn't find a good place to eat sushi. Not only am I used to having great sushi at the ready all the time in Albuquerque, I've also had sushi along the West coast from California to Seattle as well as in fancy restaurants in Las Vegas and Dallas.I am dead serious when I tell you that the sushi at Sumo beats them all! They also have the best staff! This is the only place where they ALWAYS hear me when I request no ginger or wasabi on the plate let alone the table because then I can't get the flavor out of my food. It has never been an issue here! And they are generous when you ask for sides of eel sauce and spicy mayo!The fish is so fresh and delicious that even my "anti-sushi" husband CRAVES the sushi here. He even had some salmon sashimi and he never does ANY of the raw fish! I don't think he has even had cooked salmon before! We also tried the fried rice and it was worth every pound we gained from it!The restaurant itself makes you feel like you are in Japan! The hibachi area is so cute and they give out balloon dolls for free to the kids that are so much fun! The decor is authentic and constantly gives you something to look at!This hidden gem is a must try!"

"I brought a friend because we both love sushi. The place was pretty full but we were seated right away. My friend was blown away by this concept and it made our visit so enjoyable. We must of eaten 15 plates of food but the great thing is the portions ate small. The whole idea is to take what you like from the conveyor belt and try different things. Everything was good, service was nice, and cost rnded up comparable to what two meals would have cost. My only suggestion would be for the covers to be clearer plastic or labels on them so you know what your getting. We'll be back!"

"Dec 2020. 5 stars out of 5 for taste. This restaurant is great for lunch or to pick up dinner to go. Near main post (Fort Bliss) on Dyer Street next to a Circle K. Google maps will take you a fee hundred feet after its actual location but the Waze App will put you in the right location. Small cute, awesome for to go orders. Caring costumer service with Seattle Style Sushi. I really enjoyed their version of California roll and Spicy tuna. Will definitely come back."

"Really good sushi place for Midland, TX!! Seafood taste fresh, service was good, and everything was reasonably priced. We started with gyoza and calamari. The portion on the calamari was a bit small but no real complaint. Both were cooked well. Then I had a clear soup which was good. Finished off with two rolls of sushi. Would definitely recommend if someone is in the area."

"**experience during covid-19 ** I found this place on yelp as a candidate for sushi delivery. I ordered edamame as I always do with sushi orders. I love steamed edamame! I did notice they were not seasoned in any way and I didn't see an option for spicy ones.We ordered 3 different rolls:-Las vegas: avocado, cream cheese, shrimp, crab, and salmon. (Deep fried)-Furikake: avocado, cream cheese, crab, and shrimp. (Nori wrapped on the outside)-El dorado: avocado, cucumbers, cream cheese, and shrimp. It also will have spicy tuna on top of roll.I am usually not one for deep fried rolls over the others. This time I have to say my favorite was the las vegas roll by far. As far as the delivery time it took around 50 minutes to arrive from the time that I ordered. It's actually not a bad time for everything considering it is a few miles from the destination."

"DEC 2020 Beautiful Restaurant with attentive costumer Service. Ordered sushi to go. It is not a fast food restaurant so it did take a while to get our order. Along with the sushi we were given miso soup. Ordered pork and shrimp pot stickers My fave were shrimp and all sushi was tasty. I will definitely like to come back when able to eat-in. Loved the Christmas Decor. One observation .... the whole time the staff only spoke Spanish even thou I always replied in English."

"So I'm on my 2-week hitch and I'm craving some decent Chinese food and they just happened to move me to Midland Tx away from Colorado. So my coworker said let's hit this place up, they're pretty good. We arrive and it's in a Lil Strip shopping center, nothing unassuming. We walk in and nothing fancy but they have a decent assortment of sushi rolls and their hibachi offerings. I ordered the Jalapeño Combo with fried rice, chicken, steak, and shrimp and an order of egg rolls. My food is handed to me and I get to work and proceed to begin with the egg rolls; they're your typical egg rolls, nothing fancy at all or anything to make them stand out but they are tasty. On to my main course and it's pretty well stocked with fried rice, veggies, and proteins. The plate was flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the shrimp, they were a good size and not the cocktail variety. They were meaty and good as were the chicken and steak pieces. I'm pleasantly full and ready to take a nap but I'm at work. The only thing that would have set it apart is no Hot Chili Oil available."

"Mirai Bowl is a new experience for me. I recently discovered it through a friend and have been here a few times since. It's a very simple menu and the idea of "japanese fast food" doesn't hold anymore true then this eatery. I always order the number one and found that adding the vegetables to it really rounds out a great dish. The salmon was good when I tried it and the beef was good as well. Price is great and it's a very filling dish. I wish the inside seating area was a bit bigger but there isn't much room to work with so I fully understand. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area."

"Today, for lunch, we stopped at the Sansei Japan restaurant in the Mesilla Valley Mall. My wife had the chicken teriyaki and I had the beef teriyaki. We both had the entrees with chow mein (noodles) instead of steamed rice. Both of our meals were very good and they did not scrimp on the noodles or veggies. Mall ambience. Excellent service with no chance of your meal not being hot, since it is cooked right in front of you."

"Wow!! I judge Japanese fast food by the katsu-don. I do not know who opened this place, but well done sir!All the flavors were dead on. I used to eat katsu-don a lot in Japan, and this place tastes as good as the rest of the fast food joints in Tokyo. IT was a very comforting flavor :)The meat had good texture, it wasn't too tough. The flavor of the sauce was right on!Sadly, I got fried rice instead of steamed rice. Minus one star not for the mistake, but for the flavor of the rice. I think there was way too much pepper or something. It just didn't taste good. However, the wonderful girl behind the counter recognized the mistake and was happy to give me a side of steamed rice with the sauce (I didn't want them to remake the whole dish). I was very impressed when I saw her actually mixing the sauce on the spot.I am a fan!"
