I wanted to try something a little different and this hot dog met and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Hawaiian as its on king's Hawaiian bread rolls with some mango, pineapple and Hawaiian bbq sauce, it doesn't sound like it'd be that good together but it had just the right amount of sweetness to it! Again, highly recommend and I will definitely be going back"

Ernesto S. "It can be hard to describe what antojitos are. They're a part of the Mexican culture and literally translates as "little cravings." It's not a meal and it's usually bigger or more complex than a snack. There's no particular time when antojitos are eaten, but they're usually in the afternoon or early evening. This is what Mediano's is. Their portions are generous. Usually Dorinachos are simple Doritos with nacho cheese, but here they're served with pinto beans, corn and pickled jalapeños and easily can be shared for two people. I've ordered brisket nachos and it's a huge portion served with sliced avacado and spicy guacamole. Most everything I've ordered has been spectacular. Why 4/5 stars? The homemade chocolate. It was overpriced and too sweet to eat. I ordered what I thought was a homemade peanut butter cup, but it was just pure chocolate. It was so sweet, it was hard to finish between me and my ten year old son. The dining area is clean, bright and modern. There's small tables for eating on the sidewalk. I love that I can pay with my phone. Quick and simple. Bathrooms are clean, but have an industrial feel. I'm on my way to becoming a regular."

Expect to wait at least 15 minutes for your order.. this guy makes it as it's ordered and wraps in foil paper so you're getting some very fresh food. The burger as it comes is absolutely enormous. I ordered a double for my son. Meat patties were machine cut, which makes me wonder if they're frozen? But the toppings were cut and grilled on stovetop. The smell is great. Comes with a hearty amount of toppings. No side included nor are there kids sizes. I ordered a plain cheeseburger for my 10 year old I doubt she'll finish. My son said the burger was messy but good! The hot dogs look and smell amazing. Will try the Big Momma next time."

Grilled hot dog with mayo, mustard, crushed Doritos, jalapeño, nacho cheese and an ice cold drink. That's the hot dog I had personally. Talk about a craving! You can usually find them on the corner of Eastlake and Rojas. Or on Facebook under "J-Dogs Venegas". It's best to contact them before because they are a mobile hot dog stand. Francisco A. "We came to the area to try some pupusas and found this food truck in the same parking lot as La Pupusona. I ordered some pupusas and then ran over to Taza to check out their menu. There were a few of us so we were ordering a lot of different food to try out, don't judge. LolAnyway I saw that they had tacos Al Pastor but by this point I wanted a hot dog. Lo and behold they had a Pastor Dog. Yes please! It took maybe a total of 5 minutes for them to get that hot dog to me. This thing is loaded with beans, nacho cheese, and pastor meat, underneath all of it is a grilled hot dog Frank and it is accompanied by a Chile torreado on the side. When I tell you that this was literally some of the best pastor meat I have ever had.... this was literally some of the best pastor I have ever had. Pastor, to me, is one of the styles of cooking meat that is indicative of whether a place is good, excellent, or sub par. Kind of like bbq places, I judge them based on the brisket and the pork ribs. Taquerias/ Mexican places are judged based on the Pastor, Carne Guisada (if they have it) and Carne Asada. Top notch Pastor. Come here to try it, it is amazing! Like literally so much so that, while I was still waiting for my pupusas, we went back and ordered mini tacos al pastor, papas locas and corn in a cup. As you can imagine the pastor tacos were phenomenal. The Papas Locas were interesting, I'd never had them before and it was basically potato chips in a cup, with Valentina hot sauce and I believe a little soy sauce and lime juice as well. I added the Japanese peanuts too. It was odd and interesting but I liked it and I find myself craving it as we speak. Here is where I break with my previous opinion of this place, the corn in a cup.... how do I say this gently? Okay you know what? No, I'm just going to say it, It was terrible. Like I don't even understand what was going on in this cup. There was a substance in this cup that I really don't know what it was. Was it cheese? Was it hominy? The broth was bland and had no flavor and I would not recommend this to anyone to try. Maybe it was just an off day for the corn gods? I'm hoping because everything else was so flavorful that this was an unpleasant surprise. Literally, we took two spoons of it and threw the rest away. All in all, I'd say, 4.5 stars, but since we can't do half stars, I'll go with 5 because that pastor was top notch."

I ordered the quesabirria tacos for myself. They were super delicious! They had plenty of meat and melted Muenster cheese in them. I LOVE MUENSTER CHEESE! It's the absolute best! It's one of my favorite things in this life! Anyway...The tacos were crispy and crunchy...just the way I like them. The consume (taco dip) was also really tasty and flavorful. You get 4 birria tacos for $10. I believe they used beef rather than goat or lamb meat. The salsas were spicy and excellent tasting as well.I'd recommend being patient with them because the tacos are made to order. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes. It was totally worth it! Sorry no pics, I ate the tacos way too fast! Lol. I saved one for Chico (my dog) and he devoured it within seconds. I also hear that the alambre (steak with melted cheese, bell peppers, onions) are also very good. They offer a variety of other tacos. So far I've only tried the birria and I was really impressed with them. I also bought a limonada agua fresca. It was perfect as well. They serve it in a large Mason jar and it's $5. The limonada wasn't too sweet or sour, it was just right. I really like the jar it's served in. I can use it for something else at home. The service was also good. I will be back for more quesabirria tacos and lemonade soon."

Came with fries and ordered the mango lemonade. This meal was a hit with my 10 year old son.Opted for the nacho corn dog meal with the pineapple tajin lemonade. Enjoyed this meal too. The thing I liked least was how the cheese made the crunchy corn dog breading get a little soggy but other than that, good stuff!Ordered a fried cheese combo with a cucumber tajin lemonade and a separate mango tajin lemonade for the girls to split. This was a hit also.Plan on returning to try other options in the future. Recommendations would be to post the menu outside somewhere so customers can know what they want prior to getting helped. For those that like corn dogs but not lemonade, having a couple other drink options would be appreciated too."

Misty G. "Cow dog is awesome! It was a popping spot with a few outdoor picnic tables to sit at. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it. While we waited, we popped into the adjoining coffee shop and when we came out, we were able to snag a cute table looking out towards the street. We came here because of their vegetarian option. It's actually a fritter, and doesn't necessarily have a hot dog shape, cause it's flat, but it is long. We got the Vegomatic and it's the fritter fitted into a hot dog bun and comes with all the normal toppings! It's eaten just like a hot dog and we loved it. They also had all the ingredients of the fritter written on the truck, which is extra nice for us vegetarians, and rarely seen. The dogs come in two sizes - little and big. We each ordered a big. We also ordered a tater dish dish that was topped with a fried egg and ranchero sauce. It was a lot of food for the both of us, we probably could have ordered two littles or split the big with the tots, but it was all delicious and we gobbled it up. The workers were super friendly, which is always a huge plus!! It was such a nice day to sit outside and we were super happy that we found this gem."

The ambiance is casual and quirky with collagen's bus for lamps and the tables painted with different types of Volkswagen vehicles. I had the Al pastor hotdog with curly fries and a Mexican coke. Anthony P. "Pulling up to Chico's Tacos, it looks like your typical hole-in-the-wall spot--nothing fancy, just a simple, old-school vibe. I've heard a lot about this place, so I had to check it out for myself.First Impressions & ServiceWalking in, it's straight to the counter to order, but the customer service wasn't anything to brag about. They weren't rude, but they definitely weren't trying to make you feel welcome either--just taking orders and moving on. One thing that caught me off guard was that they don't take debit or credit cards--it's cash-only. So if you're planning to go, make sure you've got some cash on you, or you'll be making a quick trip to an ATM.The FoodNow, let's talk about the tacos. The Chico's Tacos combo comes with rolled tacos swimming in this red tomato-based broth, topped with a ton of shredded cheese. Honestly, it doesn't look that great, but I've learned not to judge food just by how it looks. You also get two sides of green chile salsa, which helps add some heat.Taste-wise, it was okay--definitely different from your usual tacos. The broth makes the tacos soft, almost like an enchilada, and the melted cheese adds a good flavor. The green chile is what really brings it together, giving it that spice it needs.Final ThoughtsWould I go back? Probably. It's not the best tacos I've ever had, but it's a solid, filling meal, and I get why it's a local favorite. If you're expecting crunchy tacos or something more traditional, you might be caught off guard, but if you go in knowing what to expect, it's worth trying at least once. Just bring cash, don't expect top-tier service, and be ready for something different."
