"Visiting from Texas and we had to give this place a try after finding it on Yelp. They have a huge selection of custard treats, all sorts of refreshments and other food items. Prices are resonable and the custard was soo delicious. Although there was a long line for walk-up orders and for drive-thru they went quite fast and we were in and out quickly. Give the Orange Creamsicle a try... it was my personal favorite."
"Today my husband and I stopped in the Burger Nook to try the Great Burger and it did not disappoint. Their burgers were so juicy, delicious, and amazing that I am already craving another one. Their homemade fries and onion rings are super yummy too. If you are craving a delicious burger I highly recommend giving this family owned business a try. You won't regret it!!!!"
"We work across the street from hot chicks, we order at least once a week. We used to have the 8 chicken strips but for some reason they change the order to 5....5 it's not enough for two people but it's too much for one. Please go back to the usual 8 so we can continue ordering from you.Besides that the chicken is tender and juicy, different dressings. We love the honey hot end super hot"
"First time here.. Very friendly and the food is wonderful! Will be back! Thank you!Very very welcoming place."

Hands down the best frozen custard I have ever tasted! I lived in Cruces 20 years ago when I first learned about Caliche's and crave it all the time! I rarely pass through Las Cruces since I live in Denver but stopped and waiting until they opened at 11 on my way through to get back in on that magic. The menu has several pre-concocted sweet treats which make it almost impossible to choose from but keeps your mouth watering while deciding! My niece and nephew chose two they were on the menu and I opted for a caliche custard with cookie dough mixed in and it was amazing! We cleaned our cups and spoons as if there was nothing ever in them. It's that good! Worthy of any and all road trip stops while passing through NM! My fav that I always crave and you will too!

Always get a tasty burger with great service from staff. I usually call ahead for pick up orders as it can get very busy. When I have time, I dine in and enjoy great tasting burgers. Keep up the great work!

Craving a corn in a cup brought me here. Was pleasantly surprised that everything is very cheap. Menu ranges from hot dogs, nachos, prepared fruit, clamatos, to ice cream ands shaved ice. Prices range from 1$-8.50$. Everything was delicious but I think they are understaffed they take about 30 minutes to have the snacks ready and they make them one at a time so you get items from your order with 10 minute intervals. Also, the tables were dirty. The good is price and taste, bad is amount of wait time and how clean the place is. Worth the wait if you're not in a rush.

I have traveled all across the south and have tried many sonoran dogs. This was one of the best. Great buffet of toppings choices for your dogs. Nice little restaurant. I will be back. Worth the stop. I might suggest English menus it would help business.

Omg why didn't you guys tell me about this deliciousness called an Alambre taco? We never knew it existed and I have a happy hubby tonight! I went to the food truck rally off 1071 Country Club they're open from 4-midnight.My normal bbq trucks weren't there so I thought to try something new and the one with the longest line was Placeres Culposos. I asked them what their specialties were and they said birria quesadillas and the Alambre tacos. I ordered one birria taco to try since I was running errands and I tried it in the car. The Alambre would keep better so I ordered that for hubby. Especially since the description of the ingredients are his favorites: bacon, ham, steak, bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese. It tasted like an elevated.Philly cheese steak in taco form! I also saw them making some beef flautas and should've ordered it since it was a good deal $6 for 5. They also have drinks, I asked and they explained what they were, and I got the melon and de la Rosa (peanut?) ones. Cold and not too sweet, I liked them more than my diet would like , I'll have to try the Horchata next time. They're a sweet nice couple turning out some really good food...check them and the other food trucks out. I'm glad I tried something new tonight, and made hubby happy.

"its fast simple mexican style snacks. good atmosphere but not enough setting its good for a young crowd. somewhat small but its cool hang out."
"The restaurant originally started out as a food truck. Specializing in Sinaloa style hot dogs. They have 8 different options and a huge bar with additional toppings. The food is delicious. The service was exceptional and the staff recommend their favorite toppings from the bar to add to the hotdogs. The ambiance is casual and quirky with collagen's bus for lamps and the tables painted with different types of Volkswagen vehicles. I had the Al pastor hotdog with curly fries and a Mexican coke. My boyfriend had the Asada hotdog with curly fries and a Mexican coke. If you're in the mood to try a Sinaloan hotdog La Combi is the place to be."
"This is a very good taco food truck to visit. I checked it out at the Country Club Farmers Market recently. You can find them here Fridays-Sundays mornings and evenings. I ordered the quesabirria tacos for myself. They were super delicious! They had plenty of meat and melted Muenster cheese in them. I LOVE MUENSTER CHEESE! It's the absolute best! It's one of my favorite things in this life! Anyway...The tacos were crispy and crunchy...just the way I like them. The consume (taco dip) was also really tasty and flavorful. You get 4 birria tacos for $10. I believe they used beef rather than goat or lamb meat. The salsas were spicy and excellent tasting as well.I'd recommend being patient with them because the tacos are made to order. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes. It was totally worth it! Sorry no pics, I ate the tacos way too fast! Lol. I saved one for Chico (my dog) and he devoured it within seconds. I also hear that the alambre (steak with melted cheese, bell peppers, onions) are also very good. They offer a variety of other tacos. So far I've only tried the birria and I was really impressed with them. I also bought a limonada agua fresca. It was perfect as well. They serve it in a large Mason jar and it's $5. The limonada wasn't too sweet or sour, it was just right. I really like the jar it's served in. I can use it for something else at home. The service was also good. I will be back for more quesabirria tacos and lemonade soon."
"We came to the area to try some pupusas and found this food truck in the same parking lot as La Pupusona. I ordered some pupusas and then ran over to Taza to check out their menu. There were a few of us so we were ordering a lot of different food to try out, don't judge. LolAnyway I saw that they had tacos Al Pastor but by this point I wanted a hot dog. Lo and behold they had a Pastor Dog. Yes please! It took maybe a total of 5 minutes for them to get that hot dog to me. This thing is loaded with beans, nacho cheese, and pastor meat, underneath all of it is a grilled hot dog Frank and it is accompanied by a Chile torreado on the side. When I tell you that this was literally some of the best pastor meat I have ever had.... this was literally some of the best pastor I have ever had. Pastor, to me, is one of the styles of cooking meat that is indicative of whether a place is good, excellent, or sub par. Kind of like bbq places, I judge them based on the brisket and the pork ribs. Taquerias/ Mexican places are judged based on the Pastor, Carne Guisada (if they have it) and Carne Asada. Top notch Pastor. Come here to try it, it is amazing! Like literally so much so that, while I was still waiting for my pupusas, we went back and ordered mini tacos al pastor, papas locas and corn in a cup. As you can imagine the pastor tacos were phenomenal. The Papas Locas were interesting, I'd never had them before and it was basically potato chips in a cup, with Valentina hot sauce and I believe a little soy sauce and lime juice as well. I added the Japanese peanuts too. It was odd and interesting but I liked it and I find myself craving it as we speak. Here is where I break with my previous opinion of this place, the corn in a cup.... how do I say this gently? Okay you know what? No, I'm just going to say it, It was terrible. Like I don't even understand what was going on in this cup. There was a substance in this cup that I really don't know what it was. Was it cheese? Was it hominy? The broth was bland and had no flavor and I would not recommend this to anyone to try. Maybe it was just an off day for the corn gods? I'm hoping because everything else was so flavorful that this was an unpleasant surprise. Literally, we took two spoons of it and threw the rest away. All in all, I'd say, 4.5 stars, but since we can't do half stars, I'll go with 5 because that pastor was top notch."
"Finally great tacos in Canutillo at a super affordable price and BIG plates. If you are VERY hungry get the Torta especial. Its delicious. Al pastor tacos are very good and very inexpensive for the amount of food you. This is the best joint in Canutillo for the price and quality."
