"I have a rental property with a HVAC service contract thru Yellow Bird. My tenants contacted them when their furnace stopped working. J.D., the service technician, showed up promptly to troubleshoot and fix the problem. This review is mainly to express how very impressed and satisfied I am with his professionalism and customer service. J.D. called me out of state and gave me a very easy to understand explanation on what he thought was the potential problem with the furnace (bad inducer assembly). He located a spare part, installed it, and the furnace started working again. Not only did he fix the immediate issue, but J.D. went above and beyond when he noticed the furnace & duct work was not anchored down appropriately, which was causing additional noise to the unit. He anchored them down at no extra charge. J.D. also noticed that the placement of the thermostat was not in an ideal location and was probably the reason the heater kept shutting off before reaching the set temperature in the house. He recommended re-locating the thermostat at some point in the future and advised the tenants to simply set the thermostat a few degrees higher as a quick fix. I highly recommend J.D. for any HVAC work. He was patient with all my questions & concerns, super knowledgeable and a good teacher (I know nothing about furnaces), and he left a good impression with my tenants as well. Yellow Bird owners take note: You should put J.D. at the top of your list when dispatching technicians for service calls. "I called several companies and this company was only one who had availability. I should have guessed why. Courteous lady but doesn't listen. I have tenants whose heater went out and two of three are super elderly. When I called in Monday they were able to get someone out on Tuesday between 8-12. No one called me when they were done. My tenants son had to message her to let me know they had left. So, I call and ask if they had finished and she said oh they are barely leaving...which was an hour earlier. But hmm ok. She said they need my email address so they can send quote. I told her I don't use my email address to please call me or I can hold to find out. Well guess what? No call and I wake up today to see an email was sent. I was just on hold 10 minutes and then it says missed called please leave a message. I call back and now they answer. She said yesterday the part was available. She has to call and see if it's available today. She can send guy out today if it is. Let's pray it is in stock today as it was yesterday. This the three star review. Had they actually called me every one would be happy today. This would also have been a five star review post. I hope she actually calls me back and let's me know the status of them finding the part and a time frame when they can go out today???? Jus Sayin"

"We called Rush because our Evap Cooler needed serviced. Kelly came out and took a look at it and it turned out the door had been open on the side and a flock of doves had moved in it. Upon further inspection the unit needed many things and he gave me a price on getting it running but stated he was not sure it would last long. We asked for a quote on a new one and set it up for a week later on a Sunday. In fact it was fathers Day !! Kelly showed up early with I believe his son. I was surprised how prepared and quick and professional they were. Being a former HVAC controls technician it was a great surprise. They had the old unit removed and replaced in no time at all. Now we are able to use the rest of our house again. Thanks Kelly and Rush for helping us out in this time of need. Also for giving us a fair price and the determination you exhibited in getting it done. We appreciate it. This is the way a company should be run."

"If you need your microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator or any other appliance fixed, and do not need it for weeks later, be sure to call E-Square. If more than one appliance needs to be fixed, they will not come unless a technician can fix both appliances at the same time. They have several excuses, and the gentleman who answers the phone is extremely friendly and nice we cannot do anything without asking his supervisor, manager, or they don't ever have any parts in stock, and have to order them. When they order them it takes several days to more than a week to get the pardon. If an appliance brakes and they come service it and need to order apart, and another appliance breaks, they will not come fix the second appliance until the park to the first appliance comes in.I've asked to have the owner call me so he knows of the terrible service. I haven't heard from them, and I am sure I won't."

"I cannot say enough to warn against this company. Where to start, the salesman lied about several things, and even when I confronted him, he kept lying! The workmen left their trash. I just found out they messed something having to do with the electricity in my house and I'm going to have to get an electrician to fix it. They scratched my floor when they installed the furnace, one guy stole my charger! I should have gone with my gut feeling. I really regret that now."

"Hired Comfort Zone to install new AC on my historic home. Living in a historic area can be an issue for some Companies since they don't want to deal with additional City requirements. So some companies agree to meet and don't show up. The Team arrived on time and install was done in one day just as Jesse Mendoza promised. They took care of obtaining City permits and when I asked if the unit could be installed on side of house they were able to figure out how to get it done. The Team is amazing shout out to Daniel and Edgar who did the install and came back the next day to finish the privacy screen the City required. If it was possible to give a higher rating I would. I highly recommend Comfort Zone!"

"I've been dealing with Aircon for almost a year. They say they will return with parts but have yet to arrive. They do not return my calls that are always left on voicemail. Michelle said they have a lot of voicemails to go through, so I'm assuming she needs to do her job. Otherwise, she would only have a few voicemails. They say they call my mom, but she checks all her messages, so I question that remark since Aircon does not check their own voicemails. I'm told the air conditioner needs a new coil; the owner was the one who first came out last year. He said he would order the part and come back. He never ordered it, and he never came back to repair it. They gave me the number to another company because they didn't want to deal with us anymore. I was tired of being ignored and not getting what was promised. My elderly mother has been sitting in a hot house, and her health is not good. I've told them this, but it doesn't matter. I would never treat my clients the way they have treated us. For their sake - nothing better happen to my mother.This was the last text from them after mistaking them for Airserve.Boss this dumb lady again. Smh. Why she so obsessed with me We finally had the air conditioning repaired by airserve, and there was never any leak in the coil."

They also impress me in that they do file inspection reports with the city and have the city inspector come out and okay it."

"I recently requested an estimate on roof damage for my home; I was very quickly told that it would not be covered by insurance and that I would need to pay for the repairs myself. I searched for a roofer who can help and Trevino Roofing came out. He immediately spotted hail damage and said I need to file a claim with my insurance. He also offered to come over when the adjuster was there. Initially the insurance said it would not be covered; however, the person from the roofing company came and showed the adjuster the damage. The insurance agreed to pay for a new roof. I wish APEX had did the same thing instead of quickly telling me (within a few minutes) that I would have to pay for the damage myself."

"If I could leave more than five stars, I would! I live in California and my mom lives in Elpaso. Her air conditioner went out on a day where it was 111°. One way heating and cooling saved the day. My mom is elderly and has dementia. The woman I spoke with on the phone asked if she was elderly, and I said yes and instead of having to wait two weeks like every other place, I called they squeezed her in. Thankfully it was a fairly quick fix and she's now got air conditioning again. I can't recommend them enough not just for the quick speed of their work but for the customer service they offered. "Gaby is wonderful. Affordable Plumbing and their employees go way beyond the norm. The cost was half what a nationally known plumbing company was going to charge me. Gaby was on time and most of all he was kind. They installed a dishwasher that Lowe's installers had told me was not up to code which was not right. Affordable plumbing understood the system had no problem with it and was able to install the dishwasher with no issues that along with my gas range. They don't have record of any installation at our address, and the person whose name was on the flier was out and supposed to call yesterday. Yup, they did not.I hate it when companies lie to get business. Be honest and offer a free inspection, and THEN lie about what the repairs needed are. I am sadly disappointed in how the business is run."
