"The only Asian grocery store in Sierra Vista. Wide variety of food items: Filipino, Thai, Korean, Japanese, etc. the isles are narrow and shelves are well stocked. The freezers in the back of the store has frozen meats, fish, and spring roll wrappers. Also they offer homemade kimchi which I'm not a fan of as it's made too strong for my palate. The prices are higher as expected but in my opinion very reasonable. If you're in search of Asian spices or ingredients not found in big box stores then this is the place. If you have time or don't mind the trip to Tucson then Lee Lee's Asian market is your best bet for better price and fresh vegetables."
"Every time I come to El Paso, I love coking to the store. Produce is fresh and very inexpensive in comparison with other local stores. Also, the cashiers are very fast and very helpful."
"I love coming to this store!! They have everything I need and it's not expensive either. It's super clean and they seem to keep it very organized inside. The only ONLY reason I took off one star is because the cooked food in the kitchen area always looks old, cold, and very unappealing. I've coming to here to pick up pan dulce for my grandparents and especially when we cook on the grill I make sure to get the arrachera. But just be aware that the meat they sell here is kinda pricey. The arrachera is soooo goood tho I can't help but to get it only here at Vista. Also try their salsas the bontanera is sooo delicious!!!"
"Destination, Hillsboro, to hang out with the Saturday morning Pickers. We showed up a little early for the music, but right in time for breakfast, so we popped in at the seemingly only game in town.Just cuz they got a corner on the Hillsboro nosh market don't mean they ain't putting their best foot forward! The breakfast menu (served until 10:45, if I recall correctly, to enable efficient transition to lunch), was plenty varied with more than a few options I really wanted to try. Middle-aged sedentary lifestyle affording what it does, I only ordered one thing, the pile up..., but I shared it with my friend who shared her short stack of waffles.Pile ups will be pile ups... the mark of superlative being squarely on the chile. And let me tell you, red to green, they mastered both. So, so good! (Man, why did I have to share that??) I'm also delighted to say that the waffles were of my preferred thin and crispy variety rather than the Belgium sort. They were roughly the size of an Eggo, in fact nearly visually identical, but definitely not a freezer-box flavor. Hard not to enjoy a waffle, admittedly; they fit the bill perfectly for sweet breakie dessert. And the prices were exactly what they should be, indicative of craft quality but not of craft pretentiousness. The staff were so so lovely, and the locals prone to chat with out-of-towners. Hillsboro seems like a tight-knit community of folks enjoying small town western retirement... positively charming. There's even a winery a couple blocks away. But if you're planning to check the town out, definitely come on a Saturday morning so you can sit in on the Pickers' bluegrass jam session. And DEFINITELY come early enough to have breakfast at the general store and cafe. Then stay for lunch!"
"This is weird because I thought I had already done a review on this establishment but I guess not.I enjoy visiting Valley Supermarket in the Northeast because is a perfect size convenience store for when you need something and can get it quickly. For example.. Limes, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, beer, milk, eggs, pan dulce, toilet paper, dish detergent and others. Valley Supermarket also makes burritos right there made of different guisados and they have tables where you can eat in."
"We go here for the fresh bread and tortillas. They make it all there and you can watch! The tortillas are still warm when you toss 'em in your basket. The bakery has the best lemon cake ever for a market and their Mexican treats are terrific too! Branch out and try something new.Produce is beautiful and I have to agree with other reviewers, about the cheapest you'll find in town. Even if it is a few pennies more, at least I am not giving my money to the Walton's. And more often than not, they tell you where the produce originated! They have a liquor department that is small but in a pinch has what you likely need. Cigarettes only at customer service and on the weekends lines there are long. It's one of only 2 stores in town my wife can find her Polish dill pickles. Hooray! They won't have ALL the American selections you find at Albertson's or Wallyworld. But they may have a smaller brand that is better and helps a small business stay afloat. My money goes there.Everything about this store makes me happy....except their meat department. If you like to buy in bulk it may be a good place for you. But their meat looked sad and grey. My dad was a butcher so I may be a meat elitist! But I just can't buy it there."
"Lovely and quaint locally owned super market with everything nyone might need during a stay.We love it! Super nice and helpful people working here!!!!"
"Each time we're in Marfa we stop in this great little market for whatever food needs we have. They carry items you'd expect to find at larger markets like Whole Foods. Instead, shopping here is clearly supporting local.Organic and vegan selections available as well.Small store with a larger selection than you'd think they would have.Super clean.Nice staff."
"Pleasantly surprised...frust, but not last time at Good King in N. Mesa.We dropped in after a short walk around the N Valley Market. Also, my neighbor said wine selection here ain't half bad. So, we went in with zero expectations but walked out content. We found most of what we needed, and plenty more that we couldn't find at the Walmart or Albertsons and the prices were competitive. It's supermarket busy, but it's navigable. I didn't get the feel that it was too busy. Its not unusually loud, and there isn't music to keep you moving it, or keep you in the store. There are manned registered and self scan available. Just like EalMart and Costco be prepared to get your receipt and cart checked on your way out. Other than that we were glad to stop by and will definitely return."
"Every time I go to a store, I can never just buy one item! This was the case when I stopped by this Vista Market. It's smaller than the others but they had the main item I was looking for. I stopped by to see if they had any boxes of the Aaron Jones cereal. They had plenty of it here! I wanted to give it to a friend who's a big Green Bay Packers fan. I made her a holiday basket with the cereal and some other goodies like a bottle of wine, chocolate, coffee, Christmas decorations and more. The cereal is $3.99. Not too bad! I expected to spend about $6 on it.Besides the cereal, I bought some brisket and chile con queso for dinner. Both tasted fresh and of good quality. The brisket had a really good flavor. The taste was on point. It was the shredded kind that's served for special occasions. I also got some rolls from their bakery. They're huge and a great price! I got 3 of them for a dollar and change. I also got some tostadas and salsa. This is a good store to come to when you only need to pick up a few items. It's also good for a meal. The store was fully stocked and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back whenever I need to pick up dinner again or I need a few items! Oh and I forgot to mention...they have beautiful cakes!"
"This Save Mart is a somewhat ethnic supermarket that has mostly Mexican groceries , American and some Asian stuff. They have a good produce and (red) meat section. The prices are not necessarily the cheapest but they do carry packaged foods, frozen & refrigerated, bakery and personal care products. The place is also clean and well lit."
"Brown Street Market has been in business for more than 100 years now. It's newest owners have take responsibility over this business and are actively revamping every part of it. They've repainted, installed custom murals, redone the interior, and are actively expanding their offerings. It's amazing to see what they are doing for this community. Stay tuned to see what they have in the works."

It might look small from outside but this small store really has so much to offer!! You can find pretty much everything you need to make your own Korean food at home! Not to mention all the snacks they carry!! Don't miss the home made kimchi they have in the refrigerator! One of the owners makes it and it is truly delicious!! I'm so happy to have a Korean Grocery store in this small town.

This is a wonderful place. Big variety of groceries at great prices. Their tortillas, and tamales are super delicious. Their burritos and bread are also super good. Their aisles are a little small, but it's all worth it, for the great shopping, and prices. You must try their tamales.

I do like the flour tortillas and a lot of the time the produce is cheap but that's about it. Everything else is way overpriced. A while back I bought some menudo. Probably the grossest menudo ever. I don't think they bothered cleaning it at all, it smelled like a barnyard. Another time I went to get a brisket burrito and I noticed a fly crawling all over the meats. I brought it to the lady's attention and she shrugged it off. So disgusting!

Such a cool little place! Only wanted coffee on our way through. The old building is very historic. The lady that got us our coffee was very nice and helpful. Coffee was good! Stop by and say hi to them!

I love it here. The meat from the butcher is so good and reasonably priced, the food from the kitchen is delicious and has a lot of ffod for a great price. All types of burritos, tortas, menudo with pigs feet, and the best hamburger ever! I also like that they bag alot of the fresh food.

Lowe's Fiesta Foods is a hybrid of Mexican & American supermarket. The place may look decades ago but the place has a huge selection of groceries for the home cook. If you are health conscious, this place is not for you because the bakery section will tempt you. Their frozen section as well as packaged foods are not the cheapest but their meat section makes it up for bargain shoppers. I like how there are lots of unique foods that are not found in Walmart.

Some thought many years ago that Bullocks would wither and die when Walmart opened at the other end of town like so many grocery stores in so many small towns. But Bullocks by emphasizing customer service , competitive pricing and community involvement has not only survived but flourished. The Butchers department is a gem. Shop here when you can.

Hmm, there seems to be lots of bad reviews here based on service. The woman working the counter was nice enough when I was paying but she appeared to be the only employee and it was a Saturday afternoon so it was busy and she had to make sure there were only five customers in the shop at a time due to operating at 25% capacity during the pandemic. I saw her chase a man out of the store, haha. So maybe let's just give them a break since this is a weird time. This was my first time at The Get Go even though I have been to Marfa several times, but I just hadn't managed to mosey on over before. I didn't need anything but there were so many cool items that I ended up making a purchase. Nice selection of wine. They even had Veuve Clicquot in case you're feeling fancy. Conveniently located on a corner so you can cross the street to other businesses such as The Marfa Store, Marfa Brand Soap, and Do Your Thing Coffee. Oh yeah, another reviewer from a couple of years ago said you won't find regular brands like Lay's and Haribo - not true! They had a variety of Haribo candies by the counter. Maybe it was in response to that review, haha!

"Lovely general store. A little of this and that. Great for last minute food supplies and produce. Very friendly and helpful service."
"If you're in town, stop by Jim's Supermarket for a pack of their homemade tortillas!!!!! They are absolutely amazing! Melt in your mouth delicious! The only thing I'm sad about is not buying a dozen packs to bring home to California and freeze! Yes they are that good! The pork cracklings were delicious too! We made a roadside pit stop and made some burritos on the side of the road using a Hatch chile sauce we bought from a local vendor! Delicious!!!"
"Awesome little grocery store that I came across while looking for another market. I would have never guessed the location. Suple clean and has everything I need."
"This Lowe's Foods is smaller than the other location. The supermarket has fresh produce and meat. However, it's not for the health nut with lots of junk food and frozen foods"
"The menudo is awesome in this place. But really you can't go wrong with anything you order from the restaurant area. The shop is a restaurant / meat market and has an excellent variety of meats and cuts with a butcher on site. Shopping or dining you won't be disappointed."
"I thought this place was a grocery supermarket but it's actually for restaurants. You can still find food items and at times in bulk."
"This is a very small store but they have pretty much everything you need to cook Mexican food. All kinds of canned food, tostadas, veggies (they're very cheap too! I bought 8 limes for $1) etc... Also they have a good selection of meat for carne asada! I was looking for fresh corn tortillas and my friend recommended me this place. They do have just regular prepackaged tortillas by the cashier but if you want fresh ones wrapped in a paper, go to the back where you get meat and you'll see a few cooler boxes. Inside the boxes you can find warm fresh tortillas! I'm really excited to go back and check out what else they have next time when I have more time!"
"Sooooo cute! The staff is wonderful. Their prices are very fair & they have a great selection of healthy foods. We accidentally stumbled across this place & I am so glad we did.We also got lucky & got to crash a music night!"
"A really well stocked organic store. Beautiful produce. Great offering of frozen and bulk items. Great vitamins and personal items. Wow, if I lived here, I'd be a regular. The prices seemed decent too!"
"Novamex is the owner and US distributor of the fantastic soda product Jarritos. Jarritos ("little jug") are a spectrum of different sodas that you will usually find for sale in Mexican and Central American restaurants.Somewhat less carbonated than their US cousins, they're usually made with real flavors and not artificial ones. No ideas about the colors though.Moving beyond the original tamarind, they now offer mandarin orange, lime, tamarind, strawberry, guava, fruit punch and my favorite, grapefruit. All have a strong flavor and the less bubbliness is a nice thing.[A shout out to my friend Lilly from Atlanta who reminded me to write this review!]"
"I have been watching this outstanding business develop over several years, from a well-tended cotton field to a sign notifying all observers of a forthcoming supermercado to heavy equipment prepping the foundation to parking lot/buidling construction to actually opening doors to eager customers--including me, arriving on my Doublevision! This is an excellent site because the area population is growing at an exponential rate, much of it stimulated by San Elizario becoming an incorporated city on its own, no longer a subdivision of a larger El Paso suburb. This excellent market has met my every expectation, except I arrived just after the hot deli had closed. No worries, it was easy for me to find sustenance (original borracho jerky, ca big bag of well-popped popcorn, bananas, and unsalted peanuts + imported El Paso Water Utilities water) which super friendly, professional cashier Vanessa checked me through with; it kept my body nourished through the night. Speaking of which, I was able to find extremely good 5-star camping closeby--matching the 5-star San Eli Supermarket/Supermercado. You know it gets my hearty "Wheel of Approval!""
"I just love the chiles and particularly the barbacoa, which you can order at the butcher. Oh, my! So delicious. They have an astonishing variety of tortillas, ingredients for menudo, and even pan dulce. Just a great stop for groceries for Mexican food in Ysleta."
"We tried to go in town at Porters, and we did not find any food that a human being should eat. Thanks to this shop, we were able to restock our camper with fresh, organic produce and products in general. They even have a bulk section with a lot of spices, so that was nice.It is a little bit pricey but I guess that's the cost to pay to be autonomous in the desert for a few days.Definitely the best stop you can make before Big Bend National Park."
"Best grocery store in 5 sq miles. In this part of the town, a market that offers fresh produces, and freshly made tortillas saved our days. I love the fresh fruit box that they sale for $2.99.Price is pretty cheap, and the best thing is that they got better beer selection than Walmart that's down the way."
"I'm only doing this review to let people know how bomb the food is here I have zero complaints. Barron's has been around since I could remember in fact my great grandfather used to shop here, it's an El Paso staple. Some of the best burritos & tortas in all El Paso. My recommendations are the mole burrito , chile verde and the best damn chilequiles in a cup ever! Plus all under $4. Yes it's old yes no one speaks English but that's what makes it Barron's with all the history behind it I hope it's around for much longer."
"Wow this place was in much need of a recent review! So first things first.... This place has greatly improved since i first walked in about 2 or so years ago. They have added signs to indicate their aisles and little by little, they are fixing up the area so that it doesnt look so neglected on one side of the store. Thats what throws me off still about the place, especially how dark their refrigerated items are.I believe the business i basically run by a couple and they can only afford to hire so much help. So they ultimately are taking care of the entire store themselves which is not easy!I gotta give them mad props for being the only asian store who sells rice flakes!!! These things are the bomb to cook up and eat with korean bbq if you plan on cook some at home. Its also great for alternative noodle dishes! And only $2 each bag!Their produce department varies too with how much they stock. Just yesterday, it was super bare. But other days, especially the summer time, its packed! Stop in if you ever are in need of some azn goodies!"
"I drive past this place all the time and I guess it's a good thing I normally keep going. I took a different route today and happened to noticed this place last second and pulled in because I knew they had to carry an item I needed. I figured family dollar and dollar general are similar and would carry the same type of products. (This was just a guess, I had no idea)I immediately went to the aisle that carried the product I needed, then picked out a few other products that were similar. They were heavy but I didn't get a cart intentionally so I wouldn't be tempted to purchase too many items. Then I realized I needed 2 other things about 6 aisles down - though I didn't know that's how far they would be. I had picked up 3 other things in the process. By this point my items were up past my shoulders. Trying to find those last two things, I walked past 5 workers/sales associates and all of them looked at me and saw me struggling but didn't acknowledge me. They were stocking products. I get it. I'm a grown ass woman that didn't ask for help. I didn't get a shopping cart intentionally but picked up some extra stuff and brought money to the store. It was my fault completely. I was raised different. If you're seeing someone balancing way more than they can handle, it's courtesy to grab a damn cart just to be kind. I'm glad my dad raised me better, if I would have been a customer I would have ran to the front to get a cart if I saw someone in my position.I saw you girl in the purple shirt seeing if I was shoplifting (how...? I can't even hold all my stuff?), the two sales associates stocking on ladders that just looked at me. The one I had to squeeze past so I didn't hit. The one staring at me in the candy aisle stocking as I tried to grab my candy. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. But thank you to the customer paying for having her little boy grab one of my items that fell. As I leaned forward to grab it 2 more fell. That mom paying was so beyond sweet and I'm grateful good people exist in this world. One positive thing about the store: the front cashier with the winged eyeliner. Keep up the positivity!"
"What a cute, quaint market in a cute, quaint town! The roasted green chili were SLAMMIN'! Second to NONE AT ALL, and the choices and selections of meats, veggies and fruits were awesome and VERY affordable. 5lbs of potatos for 89 cents? OMG. Not where I come from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The staff were helpful and friendly too :)"
"Well if you want the most delicious, authentic Mexican food come to this little dive. It's a grocery store with a food counter on the side. I've had the tacos al pastor and the steak tacos. The tacos are simply served with lime, grilled onions and cilantro. They also serve a slightly spicy green sauce which is also very good. The food is cheap and delicious. I would give this place 10 stars for the food!!"
"Wow! The deli counter at this grocery store is amazing! $1.50 burritos!!! I wish the lady in front of me hadn't taken BOTH of the red chile burritos =( I also wish I hadn't had such a filling meal before getting there. I ordered 1 beef rib and 1 pork rib and oh my...definitely one of THE best bbqs I've had! The beef rib had the bbq sauce nicely caramelized around it. The pork rib was nice and smokey and BOTH were so tender and juicy with meat that just fell off the bones...mmmmm.I should've just bought a bunch of ribs and taken them home with me =d"
"Love Love this place Independent store. The community supports this place 100% !!! YaY!!"
"Quality food made from scratch as well as a nice selection of prepackaged groceries, drinks and market items priced reasonably. The people that work here know their products and are friendly yet professional. Their pies, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls are all insanely delicious and make me want to try their other baked goods but there is only so much you can eat! I'm seriously contemplating purchasing a cooler to stock up with their items before we leave. Hot damn, we came here to hike and star gaze and now I'm leaving here a few pounds heavier from all their tasty treats!"
"The owner of this establishment was very engaging, helpful, and friendly. This store is small, but has a very good variety of African food and skin care products"
