"It's been two years since we had laminate flooring put in and we can't stand it. Not a good product. It's cheap and "plastic". They laid the flooring over my existing parquet floor in my den. We can hear that hollow sound when walking over it and it's very, very hard to keep clean. Over time it began to bubble and push up. The bubble was the size of a golf ball. I called them to come take a look and they refused to pull up the floor to see what the issue was. They wanted a plumber to check for water leaks first. I called a leak detector service and I had to pull up the floor myself. The leak service stated there was no water leak. We called Nieman Interiors again and it took months to respond. Once here there worker said all he was instructed to do was "patch" it with cement. I told him no, that that was not a proper remedy to repair the issue and was an unprofessional fix. At this time, we're having the entire flooring pulled up and replaced. Other contractors are telling me that the floor was laid improperly. The bottom line is I do not recommend this company. Too many problems and I'm tired of dealing with them. We feel we were taken advantage of. Don't waste your time and money. Keep looking for professionals. They're out there. Somewhere. Hold your contractors accountable for substandard work."

"I am not type of person like to write a review. However, I just want to let people know what they expect when they do business with Bella home. It is because the house is too much money and you live in it. We moved in May 2018. It is a brand new home at Monticello area. It is not a cheap house. I don't know how to express my feeling about the house. As a woman, the most important area in our home is the kitchen. Here what I have been experiencing. Let's start with the dishwasher. The very first time I used it, the water came out on top the granite. It took me 1/2 hour to clean up the kitchen. They came and fixed it. The second time I used. The water came out under the sink. Again, I had to spent 1/2 hour to clean it up. So, I don't use it anymore. The microwave was fixed 3 times. The refrigerator was fixed 3 times also and replace the new part. The cook top was broken after a month. They took 2 month to fix it. So, I had to use the portable stove to cook. The cabinet door almost fell on my head cause the nails were came off. There was a solid wood was attached in front of the stove fell of on my feet. i got bruise in 4 months. It still hurt me now. Cause, that piece of wood is heavy. It was drop at 2.5 feet high. Fortunately, it did not broke my feet.One of the cabinet was almost fell off from the wall. So, the maintenance said "it is because you put too much bows and plates in the cabinet, that was why the cabinet came off from the wall" you need to learn to speak Spanish or have translator. Cause, the men speak zero English. There is no way you can communicate with them directly. I have to call my Hispanic worker to translate for me. The draw to put the trash can under the sink could not be used cause, the material they used was so cheap. It is not strong enough to hold the trash can so, I use it to store the shopping bags. The nails they used for the cabinet are the nails you usually use to put the little picture frame on the wall. That was how the piece of solid wood came off and fell on my feet. When i saw the nails they used I just OMG. I had to spent $800 to fix the fireplace cause, the way they designed I could not put the TV on. The distance from the couch to the TV is about 6 feet. Where to put the TV is 5.5 feet height. it is like you seat at the first row in the movie theater. So, I had to pay $800 to lower the fireplace. The living room is 7.5 feet x 10 feet very small. I can only put 2 Pc. section for the sofa. There are many little things else also. The structure of the house is good, the interior is horrible. You can go with Bella home but, you have to go in everyday to check your house. They use cheap labor. it is partly my fault. The whole year when they built the house, I never show up to check the house. It is because my husband told me that they are the best builder in town. My husband is a construction engineering. He teach at Utep. He promises me that he will build me a very nice home. i took his words for it. So, you can guess the rest :-)."

Victor Saenz does an excellent job of communicating and staying in touch with clients. All estimates and work start on time as promised. The work was done quicker than I expected. The work and materials appear to be excellent quality.I hired Victory Construction to replace a roof, turbine, and repair a water damaged ceiling. Apparently they do a little of everything. The roof appears to be better than what it was when it was new. The ceiling was expertly repaired and one can't tell the ceiling was ever repaired. The ceiling came out better than what the way I was told it would come out. I work graveyards so I sleep during the day. The crew was very respectful of the fact that I am a day sleeper and they didn't make any unnecessary noise. They also took measures to protect my property. They covered anything they worked near to avoid damage I would highly recommend using Victory Construction, and I plan on using them again in the future."

"When my water heater started flooding my partially finished basement, I called Althouse. Even though we shut off the water fairly quickly, There was an inch or more on the floor. My biggest concern was that the moisture would damage the sheet rock and cause mold int the clothing and files we had down there.They sent a certified water damage specialist who sucked up a lot of water and set up machines to thoroughly dry the area.We had used Althouse several times before for carpet and upholstery cleaning. We always liked their expertise and courtesy, so we called them for the flood. We are so glad we did!Richard in Manhatten Heights"

Lone Star Mechanical Contractor

"Do Not, allow this contractor onto your property! They retrofitted my HVAC system. I bought a home, the seller bought a home warranty for me, American Home Shield (AHS). Condensed version...May 05, 2022 the A/C needed service, 1st company AHS hired doesn't work in my town. 2nd was Lone Star Mechanical (LSM). LSM came out May 17, 2022, condemned the entire system. AHS agreed and hired them to replace the furnace, evap coil, condensing unit and service disconnect. LSM and AHS were to coordinate the equipment purchase. Other's have mentioned out of pocket cost discrepancies with AHS the 'vendor' and the home owner. Same for me. Three different figures. It took them over 30 days to get the equipment to my house. LSM started the demo and installation June 25, 2022. LSM's work was so shoddy and dangerous I fired them. Today is July 08, 2022. The contractor I hired to fix LSM's mistakes is here now. They've documented (and fixed) numerous, dangerous code violations installed by LSM. Violations that had the potential to start a house fire or electrocute a service technician. I'm not happy. I feel it's my duty to report Lone Star Mechanical to the Texas and New Mexico licensing boards, get LSM shut down before they get someone killed. I'll ask LSM to reimburse me for my added expense!"

This said, their pricing is really on the expensive side. So, you need to use them for worthwhile projects. Sergio the owner is a pleasure to work with! "Quick, prompt, easy to work with and solved hot water issue asap. Called Tuesday night before thanksgiving to state issue with hot water heater. Arrived following morning, assessed the tank was cracked, leaking and needed to be replaced. They had brought a 40gal but ran back to grab a 50gal to match what was there. All said and done, everything was wrapped up, cleaned up before lunch. Tech's and staff very nice to work with. Would call again if required."

Affordable Plumbing

"Gaby is wonderful. Affordable Plumbing and their employees go way beyond the norm. The cost was half what a nationally known plumbing company was going to charge me. Gaby was on time and most of all he was kind. They installed a dishwasher that Lowe's installers had told me was not up to code which was not right. It just was a different system than they were used to. Affordable plumbing understood the system had no problem with it and was able to install the dishwasher with no issues that along with my gas range. I'm giving them more business because now I trust them. They will always be my "go to" plumbing company."

"Mr. Juan Carlos and his entire crew of assistants and workers at Silver Springs Pool and Spa are truly the best. They are honest and so professional. Definitely go with them to build your future pool, you won't regret it! We couldn't be happier with our pool they helped us design and build. From the beginning, they were great at communicating every step of the way, their estimate for the cost of the pool was extremely reasonable compared to all other pool builders we had spoke to and it didn't vary by much once all the final details were sorted out. They even helped with recommendations on lenders as a means for financing. Their design architect made a beautiful computerized design that allowed us to clearly visualize how the pool would look in our backyard. The final product was identical to their design and our vision. They told us it would take 45-60 days to build the pool, this was a surprise to us and we thought that wouldn't be possible, but they really did complete it that fast. The pool design we wanted was not a simple one either, our pool is raised, has an atypical shape to it, it is heated, has a beach landing, infinity edge, water fall with rock wall and a catch at the bottom of the waterfall. No challenge was to big for them. Juan Carlos and his crew are always available and make an effort to come by and check things out if we have had any concerns. Thank you Mr. Juan Carlos and your entire team, we love our pool, you made our home a desert oasis."

We had a second floor pipe burst and had significant water damage. He thoroughly reviewed the damage estimate from the Insurance adjustor, pointed out other areas that were affected and reviewed a work plan. Great decision to use Milliken. They were timely, and did great work. Best of all Jason was with us every step of the way."

"not trust this builder. They will not.Honor their contract, and they will give you whatever they want. This is my wife's first house, and I wanted her to have a great experience with it. The first issue we had with Point Homes was that we were promised that she would be able to choose the colors from both inside and outside the house that includes the roof. My realtor kept calling them and calling them and calling them to see when we were gonna be allowed to go and pick our colors. They never called us. They just took it upon themselves to put whatever color of roof they wanted. The next and final thing was that I was promised a home with 2 pillars. But I guess they decided that they weren't going to do it without even telling us. Point Homes made this experience the worst nightmare of my wife's life, and no one makes my wife cry. I might not be able to put a zero in this review, but a lawsuit will work just as well. If I my give anyone that is think about buying a home from this company a bit of advice, I would wait on purchasing a home from Point Homes because by the time I'm done with him, I don't think they're going to have enough money to build any more homes."

Was told they were on back order at the end of September. Asked for my money back, was first told by a sales rep named Bill on 2 different occasions that I would get a refund. Never happened. Contacted the general manager Hector who told me they had "no way of giving a refund". I then had to have my employer contact them to negotiate a refund. Had to give Hector all my debit card info so they could refund my money. Waited 3 business days, still no refund. Contacted Hector who said I should have my refund "by the end of the day". Guess what it's 10/22/2015. Still no refund. They basically stole $82.81. Hopefully the BBB will have better luck getting the refund for me cuz all I get is a bunch of lies to get me off the phone. It's sucks because I'm pretty sure my employer has given them a lot of new business this fall and this is how they treat their customers."
