"My new favorite burrito joint, luv at first bite. For those who know, this place looks like a failed Los Panchos (from San Diego), that was revived with a pretty Jerry McGuire like idea - focus on few to make it great. They serve burritos, and burrito accessories plus i think they have a "sandwich" on the menu too (I wonder who's the dipsh*t that comes to a burrito joint and orders a sandwich, that's like ordering fillet minon at McDonald's). They have a pretty simple saying at 'B-R-U' and that is "we make an awesome handheld burrito" and let me be the first to say "they's ain't lying". I mean this joint is simple - they have three tables, but their instructions are clearly posted "Walk up orders, to go only" and why would you want to chill there anyway. Recommendation: Green #6 with egg, tasty and surprisingly filling, the sad part is my fat ass wants more..."
"My daughter attended NMSU and was fond of this location. When she was a student she would drive to this location because of their fresh products. So we were in town and wanted a quick lunch. This location is well maintained. The staff was attentive and quick to assist me. I ordered our sandwiches and was on our was on our way quickly. Our bread was soft, airy and fresh. The girls lived up to Subway Artist standards. They created a delicious work of art"
"Fine Chinese restaurant right off Interstate 10. Enough booths to sit plenty and a line that you walk through to be served. You can pick a one, two or three meat plate. A steady line of locals came through while I was there. The food........fantastic. You could tell that it was high quality and fresh. Great crisp vegetables. And they serve you big plates of food. I would not hesitate to come back here again."
"Good pollo asado, they have a special of 2 whole chickens for $24 on tuesday, thursday & Saturday's not sure when the promotion ends. They have a salsa bar two types of salsa to choose from green or red, jalapeños pickled or grilled, pickled carrots & tortilla chips. Friendly, fast service!"
"Roberto's is an old favorite. Walked in to get an order to go at 6:00pm and was surprised they told a few customers after us that they were going to close even though their posted hours were 8:00pm. The food was delicious with fluffy sopapillas and a relleno burrito with just the right spice."
"Denny's was packed and reviewers off of Google said that this place had the "best burgers in town." I was skeptical, but hopeful that was true. I'll start off my saying that they need umbrella's at their picnic tables and that the menu was a little confusing with all the prices whited out. However, the customer service here is outstanding. The owner is so sweet, and generous. He really treated us right. The burgers were okay, the patties thin and the flavor could have been amped a little. The fries, oh my goodness, so good! We will be back to support. He's a great guy."
"Exactly as the name suggests, this is a small town burger joint filled with coca cola memorabilia and advertisements. I got the regular cheeseburger and fries. The burger patty was thin and the bun was incredibly oily. So oily that the wrapper it came in was nearly see-through. All in all, the burger was nothing special, but solidly made and hit the spot of this weary traveler. The fries were crinkle fries that were a bit too soft and limp for my taste."
"I was in the 6th and final day of my biketouring the complete Ft. Hancock-Las Cruces I-10 Bicycle Bypass, an essential element when pedaling here, in the "Hidden Gem of the World, Crossroads of North America, anchored by El Paso, Cd. Juarez & Las Cruces", and was starting to get desperately hungry despite having begun today by eating an enormous quantity of food + coffee at Angies Restaurant nearly 25 miles/35kms4 hours ago in Ft. HancockTX. I saw an array of wavering pennants--all pointing in my direction (which meant challenging headwinds), indicating that it was little wonder that I would be exhausted and in maximum need of nutrition. This was perfect! At that moment, I knew pushing onto Fabens was not going to happen, parked my Doublevision between the picnic table and the wooden building, then slowly entered. The friendly waitress and owner both greeted me warmly appreciative of business; I was suddenly salivating upon the scent of cookin' in the kitchen. While it might be considered fast food, I was anything but fast. Not only did I savor the delicious food, but my body also recuperated & recharged for the continual Westward cycle into the wind! For sure, this establishment has my "Wheel of Approval"!"
"I love this place! I've had quite a few different meals from here and they all have been awesome! Chicken Tacos and the breakfast burrito are my favorites"
"Pizza was thin, dough was tough. Toppings were skimpy. I'm going to call some place else."
"What can I say that hasn't been said about this place. Awesome. It is one of the best places to enjoy a delicious meal. Great staff great atmosphere. We love this place. Dont read this part its just to fill out the word count. But my primo Larry "el papi" what the waitress calls him. Is there daily and twice on Sunday. Lol"
"Today my husband and I stopped in the Burger Nook to try the Great Burger and it did not disappoint. Their burgers were so juicy, delicious, and amazing that I am already craving another one. Their homemade fries and onion rings are super yummy too. If you are craving a delicious burger I highly recommend giving this family owned business a try. You won't regret it!!!!"

Why would they close this place? Regardless of the super generic title, it was super cheap and an easy way to fill up on the best invention ever: a rolled up meal!

This was my 1st time going to this location and I'll never be back. I went in and the 2 females had absolutely no customer service! They were rude and snotty.. when the female put the veggies on she hardly put any.. let's just say the whole experience at this location was awful

Golden star has grown on me over time. Sometimes I think the cook forgot to use any seasoning but most of the time it's pretty good. I find that ordering off the menu is better quality than grabbing take out from the steam table line. Love being able to order through door dash too.

We think this place was a little better few months ago. They made a lot of changes and prices stayed the same. Still good tasting chicken and specially the nopales. But lottle pricey just little.

This place is locally owned and operated by the family of late but forever great Roberto Estrada. Roberto's legacy of Guinness world record enchiladas, his superior business ethic, and the taste of delicious New Mexican style food is what makes Roberto and his restaurant iconic.Roberto's was a place I loved to eat as a kid growing up in Las Cruces. Now as an adult, I the drive thru has been my go to for any food I pick up. My favorites are their burritos, specifically because of their flour tortillas!Recently stopped by for breakfast burritos and was not disappointed! The eggs in the burrito tend to be a bit oily so make sure to ask for napkins! I cannot recall a time I ever got a bad order from Roberto's, although I do agree that the customer service could be seen as cold at times. Growing up I never saw this as a negative because I never felt their intention was to be rude, it was just that the business was always busy and they're always working double time to provide the fastest service possible.Definitely recommend the drive thru because they are making the orders as they come in, unlike the large fast food chains who have the food sitting for hours. I believe Roberto's drive thru does it right even though (as Americans) we think fast food should be FAST!

Nice folks, and the order came up quickly. The burger however, was not great. Do you know the feeling when cheap ground beef has a sort of pillowy texture? That was this burger. I'll stick with the Roost for a burger in Safford.

Pop's Better Burger is a Fabens area staple. I love their quintessential American burger shop menu. They practice a friendly small town approach to service. There is nothing special about how they make their food, but the food is done right and fast. I had a serious burger craving and just happened to be in the area. How fortunate for me! There was no turning back from those images of a double cheeseburger basket with fries from my head. I was on a mission! Once I sunk my teeth into my meal, I was not disappointed. Of course I have never been disappointed with a meal that I've had at Pop's. You will never leave disappointed or hungry!Classic burgers at retro prices! You will be a happy camper with every visit to Pop's Better Burger.

Wow wow wow! Awesome Tacos! Definite hole in the wall with GREAT food. By far the best place to eat in Tornillo that I have been. Don't let the outside fool you. This five is authentic and delicious.

"A hidden gem in west El Paso! If you like to try new flavors you need to visit Bien Me Sabe. The empanadas are delicious, I tried the empanada pabellón which had shredded beef, sweet plantain, cheese, and black beans. It was soooo good! The arepas were delicious as well!"
"Great service and a chill atmosphere. Yummy food! Good size portions. I love that they have malt vinegar for fries. Could do without lettuce on my philly but still tasted good."
"ECLECTIC LITTLE PLACE WITH WIDE MENU(Warning: Young adults from Central Florida in for a vacation) This really is a 'snack shack' with a collection of fun food such as Nachos, Sandwiches, Ice Cream, and more. Prices are low... great little place to stop by quickly if you're hungry.TEXAS TATERS AND TACOSWe came here when we saw photos of their Texas Taters and had to get one. It's a customizable Baked Potato which you can load (like... really load) with toppings like Mushrooms, Broccoli, Jalapenos... in addition to all the typical Baked Potato goodies. We also took a trio of Tacos. The Tacos weren't impressive- very simple and not really authentic. The Texas Tater was more impressive- almost like a collision of flavors perfect for a hangoverYOU HAVE TO TRAVEL OUT THEREThis little building is in north Alpine past all the regular businesses. There's no place to dine inside however there's a couple of tables under the shade out front. We enjoyed our food with a nice view of the simple nature stretched out in front of the restaurant. Lean bathrooms were on the side of the building."
"Don Carbón is my go to jam in El Paso. They have been providing me, my friends and my family with delicious charcoal grilled chickens for years and when Covid hit, I became concerned. I had been consistently asking if they were going to reopen their dining areas anytime soon and finally today I was able to go inside! They kept insisting they wanted to make sure it was safe to reopen! I had never been to the Upper Valley location because it's so far off the beaten path for me, but I was impressed with the way they were running it. First. The sanitation tunnel to enter. Kinda wild, kinda awesome, new experience for me. You walk through what I can only assume is misters containing sanitizing agent. Impressive. On top of that, everyone was masked up, temperatures were checked, constant wiping and sanitizing. Color me impressed. My only disappointment is that it's probably going to be hard to find a table as they continue to spread the word about their reopening. Love this place. Chicken and charro beans were on point as usual. I'll be back.... maybe later today with the family."
"The carnitas burrito is HEAVY! It's stuffed with big juicy pieces of pork, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sauce. It's probably weighed a pound. Drive thru is perfect in the summer so you can stay in your cool vehicle."
"Crisostomo is one of my favorite local burrito restaurants and I'm happy to see them expanding. They use freshly made tortillas for their burritos and quesadillas and have quite a good variety of filling options. My favorites are lengua (which a lot of places don't make) and chicharron, though you can get better barbacoa elsewhere. About $3/each, great for lunch! This location isn't as large as the Lee Trevino one, but its easier to access if you're driving through. Burritos are made fast and folks are friendly."
"Great customer service. Placed order through app and couldn't get the option for large Cajun fries; my handsome guy wasn't having that. Walked in and informed an employee who immediately fixed the issue and gave me my large Cajun fries no extra charge."
"My youngest kid wanted pizza for lunch, but we didn't want to go to 'the usual' places. What a great time to checkout this Pieology! For those who haven't been to one before, it's like Subway...but for pizzas! You can pick your crust, oils, sauce, cheese, veggies, and meats. The staff makes your pizza in front of you as you head down the line towards the register. Grab your drinks, take a seat, and it only takes about 10 minutes for the pizzas to make their way out to you. Both of my kids loved that Jarritos was an available drink option, while I went with the fresh lemonade. The cucumber watermelon was delicious, but I kept side-eyeing the white peach...maybe next time.Very clean and presentable atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and the air conditioning works very well...even when it's almost triple digits outside...I could have been comfortable in a hoodie. If you're looking for a new pizza place on the far east, make this place your 1st stop."
"I stayed across the street at Home2Suites. I didn't feel like going far for dinner, and this was a great choice! This is a family run establishment and well worth the visit. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and a pizza with Ham & Onion. You'll see by the photo it was delicious!!! I'd highly recommend trying the food here. I'll definitely be back when I visit El Paso on business."
"This is my go to place for burgers, crisp and delicious French fries. I can't begin to accurately explain how great the fruit ice is, it's like fresh powdered snow. You have to try it to understand! Banana coconut and pina colada are my favs."
"Was OK but really won't go back. I thought it would've better. :( I think the good part of it was the Carne asada fries and good customer service"
"Workers just didn't seem to want to be here! Gentleman in front of me asked for Mayo twice and the girl goes ranch? As she just squirts ranch all over his sandwich, without waiting for an answer. Staff couldn't be bothered to go in the back and get anything they were out of such as simple condiments even though there were multiple people in line behind me. My sandwich is half dry and half covered in a glob of mayo...."
"Wow!! I am so pleased with my choice to visit Chilabox. A quick walk from my hotel in El Paso, Chilabox is a great concept where Mexican Chilaquiles come in a box customized to your liking for an exciting, delicious and fun experience. The space is adorable! Great outdoor seating area with swings (!!) and plenty of tables and benches for customers. I visited for breakfast and was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff who explained the concept to me. You choose from several sauce options and then choose your toppings. I chose rojo and verde sauce, light onions, sour cream, chicken, cheese and black sesame seeds. Everything comes carefully layered in a "to go" box similar to what you'd get at a Chinese restaurant. You can eat straight from the box, or open it up on the specially designed sides onto a plate so you can get the full experience. My Chilabox was delicious! It was done in about 5 minutes. The slightly spicy red sauce and tangy green sauce were so flavorful, the tortilla chips were a great mix of crispy and saturated in the sauce. I couldn't stop eating! I'm glad I went with light onions because they were strong. I wish there was an option to add a fried egg on top, but otherwise it was perfect!"
"We stopped at Arby's because everything else was closed in Silver City on Sunday evenings. The service was outstanding! The manager and his staff were so friendly. I was really surprised. They came around and asked if everything (i.e. food) was OK. It knocked my socks off to get that type of service at an Arby's."
"Mirai Bowl is a new experience for me. I recently discovered it through a friend and have been here a few times since. It's a very simple menu and the idea of "japanese fast food" doesn't hold anymore true then this eatery. I always order the number one and found that adding the vegetables to it really rounds out a great dish. The salmon was good when I tried it and the beef was good as well. Price is great and it's a very filling dish. I wish the inside seating area was a bit bigger but there isn't much room to work with so I fully understand. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area."
"This place is always clean, they're always welcoming and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious! Definitely one of our favorite locations."
"This Subway is located in a Loves truck stop in Las Cruces, New Mexico off the I-10. Parking here is a nightmare. I was getting hungry so I decided to get myself a salad. Now when you walk in through the truck stop you will IMMEDIATELY notice a NASTY stale smell. I almost turned around and walked out but decided to investigate how clean the ACTUAL Subway was. Surprisingly, it was immaculate. I ended up ordering a Sweet ChickenTeriyaki salad topped with onions, tomatoes, cheese and Ranch dressing. The nice young man wore gloves and was friendly. When he started putting on the onions, he put almost as much onions as he did lettuces. YIKES, he must of REALLY like onions. I asked him to remove almost all of them. Lol... The total for the salad was $10.70. I got back to my big rig and mixed it, took a few bites and was happy with my purchase. It's nothing fancy but it did the trick and I'm good to go for another 300 miles or so. Keep on Truckin'"
"THE BEST BURRITOS IN TOWN They have the spiciest asado! Always friendly staffI'm disappointed if I go anywhere else. This is my favorite"
"PSA: i am not, i repeat, AM NOT, a cold cut sandwich type of girl. But after today's experience with Jersey Mikes, i am a true believer now!! I absolutely love the simplicity of their menu and it seems to focus more on their ingredients and quality of their sandwich products. I love that they also offer hot sandwiches for those who prefer them more toasty. The promo we had for their grand opening was for a regular cold cut sandwich which we were happy to oblige with. I got the Club Supreme which had turkey, roast beef, bacon, swiss and mayo. I also love a good vinagrette and oregano on my sammys so i said to prep it the MIKE WAY, which is lettuce, onions, tomatoes, spices, and JUICE.... aka their vinagrettes. BRUH. That sammy was on freaking point!!! Ughhh i was so happy! Perhaps its was because how hungry i was BUT my goodness was it blowing my mind still!! I believe food isnt automatically delicious if youre hungry lol. So they did me so right! You can tell that they were still new and trying to get their bearings still. My friend and i were kinda together so i guess they kinda kept our sandwiches close together. At some point tho, they switch our bread halves around during the prep station so they put my white bread top on her cheese bread bottom. My friend was able to catch that and had it corrected. It was also kinda difficult to get their attention since she repeatedly tried to ask for mayo. Nothing unexpected though for oiling out their gears. Super professional and friendly service and setup! Cannot wait to come back for more!!"
"Roll up. Walk to the window. Order a Chile Relleno burrito with beans, cheese, and extra sauce. Unroll the wrapper. Marvel at the length. Take that first bite...... I don't know what happens next. It's always a blur and I come to ten minutes later feeling like there is no evil in the world and all is right."
"The pros:-New restaurant, shiny and nice-Lots of fountain drink choices including teas and hibiscusThe cons:-Staff doesn't know the price of salads-No bread. No, really. No. Bread. Wow. It's happened twice now."
"Friendly Staff but extremely dirty and unorganized.... Most of the tables were dirty, and the floor had trash all over. The sandwich bar was nasty with left over food that had fallen all over the place. In the back there was a tray with burnt cookies and trash all over the prep area floor as well. All the counter tops looked grimy and full of crumbs including where the drinks are. Considering 3 guys were working I'm not really surprised, but it was kinda disgusting and unappetizing, to be honest. The last thing people want to do is eat at a dirty restaurant..."
"I grew up in Philly and this is the closet I can get to a Philly cheesesteak. There used to be another restaurant in the far East side but they closed down. No matter how many times I come to Freedom Crossing, I probably eat here half of the time. I normally get the small Philly chicken and fries and order a drink. So for the price it is well worth it. Then if you have a STAR card, you save another 10%. If you fill out the survey, you get free fries so I think it is well worth it."
