Jenny L. "We love it there. The staff are engaged and the parents are involved. My kids are in dual language and already understand Spanish! The school just got the TEA's A Rating again they beat out Lundy and the afterschool programs are affordable and fun! I'm part of the PTA and volunteer a lot. We have a diverse group of kiddos from all cultures and the leaders believe in play along with learning since childhood comes only once, so we have a lot of fun events like Bike day, Kite day, Field day, etc... we're hosting a Welcome back picnic next week. :)"

Lauren S. "My son loves this school. It's older, but has everything a student needs. His teachers are great and he us excelling for his age. Drop off and pick up are always chaos but you get used to it.Once construction starts, it will be even crazier."

Patrick D. "What a great concert of classical music organized by El Paso Pro Musica with the Zuckerman Trio. The church offers a remarkable setting for the concert. We are blessed to have First Baptist to host many of the concert arranged by Pro Musoca. The acoustic in the church is simply remarkable. Pinchas Zuckerman at the Violin was absolutely moving piece of Bethoven- The Op. 97 Achduke."

Paul B. "I have two children enrolled in Las Cruces Academy. It is clear, day after day, that they care about my children and are dedicated to their education. They give a level of attention that simply is not possible in Public Schools. After two years of dropping my kids off there every day, I still believe LCA is the best secular option for education in Las Cruces. All of the staff is terrific but I am particularly impressed by Ms. Arielle (K and pre-K), she's awesome."

Patrick D. "Radford School is really a gem in El Paso. I had the privilege to be educated at the London School of Economics and Harvard and it is without any hesitation that I recommend this institution. A family atmosphere with a focus on academics and a real understanding for the individual we are so privileged to have such an institution of higher learning in El Paso."

Peace Lutheran Preschool & Day Care

TIffany W. "My 2 year old son has attended Peace since August 2016. While I was pleased with Peace from the start (solely due to my son's teacher), the new leadership that took over in January 2017 has made some significant changes that have improved communication, organization and the overall educational, social and emotional development of my son. Any parent who's child attended prior to the leadership change should consider revisiting Peace to see and hear the changes that have occurred. Having experienced both the past and present, I can attest to the improvements that have been made. Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year for all students, even toddlers. All of the teachers have a degree and experience in early childhood education and all of the staff are required to have a minimum of 24hrs of training per year. I am a very vocal parent and advocate for my child. New leadership has been friendly and responsive to my concerns and suggestions. The Parents for Peace group is very active in planning and organizing events throughout the school year. Parents from the infant room through kindergarten are encouraged to be involved with all school events. My husband and I did a lot of research before choosing Peace and we could not be happier. The school is heading in a new direction and I am looking forward to what the future holds."

Sheera H. "Caring, honest, sincere, quality, safe, passionate, Biblically focused education. We have felt so welcome at this school. The Principal knows everyone's name and greets all the children in the hall with true interest and is fully involved. The teachers are smart and compassionate. My children have gotten in trouble a few times but the punishments are reasonable. They let you know what us going on and we get lots of updates by text, email and app. It's not a giant school and not a tiny school. The class size is about 13 which is perfect. We love this school."

IDEA Public School- Horizon City

IDEA Public School- Horizon City

Benjamin K. "Before sending your child here, Google IDEA Public schools in Texas. Read the teacher reviews, the ex-employee reviews, and even a student testimonial! I felt so lost as to why my daughter was being treated a certain way until I read the reviews and had a multitude of epiphanies. The plan is to move her to Soccoro ISD as soon as possible. After more than a few uncomfortable or unpleasant experiences since the start of this school year, my wife and I decided to dig a bit deeper on the IDEA chain of schools. Not doing so sooner is a regret she and I share. For a little bit there we couldn't quite put our fingers on why exactly we were feeling such discontent with Horizon Vista until our child came home visibly upset on the FIRST day of school citing that their PE that day was allegedly "walking around a field with their backpacks on." I was a little taken aback by this idea since they're in elementary school and not the military but everything with a grain of salt. Maybe her description was inaccurate but the fact she would say something so specific was enough to catch my attention. As the weeks passed my child began coming home more and more upset and just.... kind of beat down. Daily. Continuing my own personal denial, I chalked it up to my child being whiny. "It's 'college prep,' it's supposed to be harder. You'll live, just try harder." The remorse I feel for feeding her that narrative while all along that is basically what she gets nonstop at school is insurmountable. Somehow our little bookworm who loves school so much she'd give up her Summer Break was miserable in her element. The cherry on top of it all is that she claims the adults who work here are the unpleasant ones, not the kids.Is education serious business? Of course. Do I want my child to graduate high school? Absolutely. To go to college? If she so chooses. But fun has its place in school and the only fun Ive witnessed was during a halfhearted, two hour bounce house "party?" that just ended up being some sort of a recruitment strategy to expand their student body and therefore their funding. That's what they seem to care about. My kid has a cognitive disability but has done wonders in school across 3 states. But after reading those reviews online, maybe they're trying to make her miserable on purpose. Which is an outlandish thought, I know. And I think most parents want to claim their child is not the problem and point fingers at the facility and/or faculty. But this is ridiculous. There's so much more than this vague review details but my wife and I are just trying to start the conversation. Read the reviews first before enrolling and check their stats! Also if a faculty member puts their hands on my child again while she's unfortunately still attending this charter, I will respond in kind."Miss a day, miss a lot!" Bite me."

Victor S. "We previously had our daughter enrolled in this school and all I have is nothing but positive comments. From the teachers to the Pastor (Tony). They are well organized and have great communication with the parents. It's very unfortunate that the price for 1-5 is out of our reach but if we could afford it we would definitely pay for our kids to attend here. In two years that our daughter attended here we never had any issues that matter other than your normal admin problems here and there but nothing serious enough to be a deal breaker. I would highly recommend."

Dulce M. "My son was enrolled in their program this year. Ms. Rosie and ms. Amanda are incompetent and do not deserve the respect to be called teachers. Nanette cannot be credited with anything short of loathsome and crude. They kicked my son out in a month time. Examples of what they could not tolerate was water time and his refusal not to splash to playing outside and not running in the playground. They are horrible people and do not deserve your children. They are verbally abusive to children and Ms. Rosie and Ms. Amanda have no business working with children. I have filed complaints with New Mexico and I hope you think very carefully before placing your children here."
