"Situated on far West Side off of Doniphan resides El Remate Discount which is a liquidation side where you can grab some solid deals. The way to succeed here is having a bit of patience, a will to search, and to just go with the flow. What's pretty fun about this place is that you can grab some high dollar value items if you put in the work.El Remate is closed on Thursdays as they reset each week with new inventory. Depending on the day you go determines how much you spend.Fridays have the newest inventory and every item, I MEAN EVERY ITEM, you check out with is $8 a piece. The payment schedule is as follows:Friday $8Saturday $6Sunday $4Monday $3Tuesday $2Wednesday $1A few things I learned while here. Please respect their policy of not opening boxes on the floor. They have a dedicated room where they'll open it up for you and if you don't want it they'll retape it.The organization is that there is no organization. I did notice more home and tech accessories were towards the left of the store. Bulk food and drink items were in the back of the spot. Looo for the very back wall to the right and you'll see them do pop-up drop offs of various crates. It's a pretty fun way to score some deals. I even found $60 tempurpedic pillows for my king bedroom and got a set for $20 plus a wide variety of other goodies including a whiskey smoker set and a 20lb kettlebell."
"Even though I sometimes have issues with their app, I still come to this location every once in awhile. I like to use their app because it offers coupons. Dollar General is a good place to come if you're only looking for a couple of items. They have a $1 aisle with items like dish washing soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, soap, etc. The employees at this location are nice and helpful. During the COVID-19 quarantine, I was thrilled to find paper towels here! I hadn't been able to find any for about a month, maybe longer. I was pretty upset when I saw an elderly woman put 20 to 30 packs of toilet paper in her cart! She wiped out the store! I let it go but really should've spoken up. Talk about greed! Maybe I should've followed her to her house! I'm kidding people! If she lived through the Great Depression, she is fully stocked already. I'll be coming here again, especially during this time. Maybe next time they'll be stocked up with more toilet paper!"
"This is definitely my favorite dollar store of the 3 in the immediate area because mostly everything is actually a dollar. It's the perfect place when you need something but don't want to hit a big store, very convenient. The store itself is well kept and easy to navigate. My only complaint is the amount of registers they have open at once, usually just 1, but that's anywhere honestly and I wouldn't blame the workers for it either."
"Of course I would say what you need they will have for you! My thing is why their cashiers always look like they are having such a terrible time lol I get it it's not the best but it's a job but I'm telling yall her face just looked stuck just from frowning so much I'm sorry it's not very customer service of someone who's main job is to simply say hi welcome or shoot one smile! It's not cute and frowning is not gonna make your leave work faster either! It's not a sight I would want to see either it's ugly"
"I just stop at the Remcon store and I'm still upset. The store closes at 4. I got there at 3:30 pm. As the doors opened a rude lady stodd in front of me blocking my entry stating we are closed. I told her its not. 4 yet to which she rudely replied we are at capacity. I told her there should a sign at the door about capacity. She rudely replied I will let them know. I went to my car and watched as 3 customers left. Then myself and another customer approached the door to be faced by the same rude woman. I told her I waited until 3 customers left and she reluctantly let us both in saying you have 10 minutes to shop. I also listened to this woman treat her co-workers disrespectfully. I usually go to the store on the eastside and am always pleased with the customer servicethere. Still SMDH."
"If you're looking for great Christmas decor, look no further! This store is amazing! The staff is friendly and very helpful. They follow safety guidelines and protocols. The aisles are kept clean and all items are easy to find. I recommend this store.I love it!"
"Well... i gotta say, i never thought i would be suckered into the hype of this place... but i ultimately did lol. First impression of this place was how much junk seemed to be piled up on the plethora of tables! I thought it incredible that people are genuinely interested in shifting through the piles just to find some tangible item for a dirt cheap discounted price. Who would be desperate enough for that??My tune soon changed as soon as i kept seeing things that sparked my interest... it started with a workout vest that ive been wanting to get forever and it was clearly unused with all the fold creases and what not. So i took that... then i saw an air tight container perfect for my sugar... then i saw some very expensive saffron TWICE... then i saw this magnificent crown that would be perfect as a going away gift... then i saw a fur shawl that would go perfect with the crown...then i saw pearl ribbon for that party decoration.... then i saw super cute decorative lights for said party.... i was done for lol.The real hooker is the price for everything. On this day, we went on a Saturday which meant EVERYTHING Awas only $5! Pretty sweet steal for majority of the items i grabbed! The way it works is that they are closed on Thursdays only and i assume its to allow all the random rejects from different places, including Amazon Warehouse! Then they open Friday to Weds. On Fridays, its $8 per item. Sat is $5. Sun is $4. Mon is $3. Tues is $2. And Weds is only $1! Most of the really good stuff is gone by Friday. The hubby got me a sweet cast iron skillet, electric wine opener, Bodium french press for 4 cups, and a weighted vest to workout with for $8 each! He got himself a very expensive fishing reel for only 8 as well! Its quite a rush coming into this place once you start spotting all these amazing deals that make you want to look for more! Its terrible but addicting! Its also kind of dirty from all the shipping boxes i imagine, so bring gloves! You definitely want to make sure the stuff you buy hasnt been used or EXPIRED! This place is also notorious for that! Also keep in mind there is a testing station to make sure you dont go home with a broken electric wine opener lol."
"I drive past this place all the time and I guess it's a good thing I normally keep going. I took a different route today and happened to noticed this place last second and pulled in because I knew they had to carry an item I needed. I figured family dollar and dollar general are similar and would carry the same type of products. (This was just a guess, I had no idea)I immediately went to the aisle that carried the product I needed, then picked out a few other products that were similar. They were heavy but I didn't get a cart intentionally so I wouldn't be tempted to purchase too many items. Then I realized I needed 2 other things about 6 aisles down - though I didn't know that's how far they would be. I had picked up 3 other things in the process. By this point my items were up past my shoulders. Trying to find those last two things, I walked past 5 workers/sales associates and all of them looked at me and saw me struggling but didn't acknowledge me. They were stocking products. I get it. I'm a grown ass woman that didn't ask for help. I didn't get a shopping cart intentionally but picked up some extra stuff and brought money to the store. It was my fault completely. I was raised different. If you're seeing someone balancing way more than they can handle, it's courtesy to grab a damn cart just to be kind. I'm glad my dad raised me better, if I would have been a customer I would have ran to the front to get a cart if I saw someone in my position.I saw you girl in the purple shirt seeing if I was shoplifting (how...? I can't even hold all my stuff?), the two sales associates stocking on ladders that just looked at me. The one I had to squeeze past so I didn't hit. The one staring at me in the candy aisle stocking as I tried to grab my candy. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. But thank you to the customer paying for having her little boy grab one of my items that fell. As I leaned forward to grab it 2 more fell. That mom paying was so beyond sweet and I'm grateful good people exist in this world. One positive thing about the store: the front cashier with the winged eyeliner. Keep up the positivity!"

I went on a Wednesday and it was $1 per item day. I spent $30 on a bunch of items that I have wanted to buy but couldn't justify the price, but hey, for $1 the soil meters and other things like fancy door stops and Mario party decorations are priced just right. If you browse a lot on Amazon, like me, you're ahead of the game for these types of pallet discount stores since they buy Amazon returns. I recognized the items and value so some items weren't worth it, but the Dali pans and pizza racks were brand new and run $30 each, so they were steals. One man's return is another's treasure, so to speak. It's basically the same concept as Black Friday except they have crazy sales on Friday like the one this coming Friday with Easter eggs hidden all around the store. If you find one with a number you can buy $200-$400 items (I'm looking at that motorized scooter) for $8!They have such crazy deals that people will come Thursday night and STAY THERE ALL NIGHT to be first in line at 9am.

It was so frustrating to me to not easily find a source of clean, freshwater in this sizable community UNTIL I chanced upon Dollar General. Cashier Jose expertly checked me through with the most economical albeit somewhat heavy gallon of inexpensive drinking water. Even though I had no need for anything else, I did look around inside this well-stocked store, just in case...!

I love this place! Every week it's something new and you never know until Thursday, when they open. The prices start at $8, on Saturday everything is $5 and continues on until Tuesday when the price is $1. They are closed Wednesday's to restock and are back open Thursday. The only downfall is people hoard against the walls and if you don't get there at opening, you miss the really good stuff.

"Great place for Asian, Indian, filipino, Japanese Mexican etc ingredients that you cannot find anywhere else in Las Cruces! Only thing they are missing is a frozen section of Asian food. It's like an Asian Walmart when you walk in. They have everything ! Reasonable pricing and when I feel like homemade Filipino food, I come here and get my ingredients."
"There are many dollar stores every few blocks or so. This one stood out today. My wife stopped by to pick some signs for work at the store. The items were big and the cashier asked if she still needed the cart when leaving the store. My wife said she did need the shopping carts. The lady behind her said she was in a rush and being abnoxious but the cashier continued to help my wife. This was excellent service by this employee. Good customer service is hard to find these days but this gentlemen showed it. I highly encourage others to shop at this store."
"The location of this fantastically important re-vitalizing store is next door to the motel where I was overnighting (my third of a 4-day Michael Rachelson Memorial Biketour, who was a retired civil engineer from Georgia and had been killed by a motor vehicle 21SEP2019 on NM146, close to his completing the 3100mile/4969kms domestic CDT at Antelope WellsNM), and I am SO VERY GLAD to NOT have to Gimpwalk far for much needed nutrition/snacks/chocolate milk. This fine store accepts multiple major cards for purchases great & small. Besides being "aged out" and quite slow with a Gimpwalk, my body massively appreciated the short distances involved--it was so satisfying to lay on the bed, completely rest & recharge my body (Maybe I should've bought TWO quarts of CM?) while the plugged in chargers refilled my eBikeKit 48V20A batteries. FAMILY DOLLAR certain gets my enthusiastic "Wheel if Approval!""
"New discount place in town. Interesting concept. Long tables (bins) filled with tons of stuff - phone cases, kitchen gadgets, pet food, curtains, snacks, random OTC medications and junk. Weekends everything is $10. You'll find very little worth $10 here. However each day the prices drop. So on Wed, I think, everything's $1. I can see some smart person going to buy a lot of left over $1 stuff and selling it for profit on Ebay. Hmmmm...They hide actual eggs in the bins. Find one and get one of the premium items kept behind the checkout for the price of the day. Stuff like brand new Ipads. It is a great business idea and if you like digging for a bargain, a fun way to spend an hour."
"I had fun coming to Black Friday's. I didn't know what I would find! This was the fun part for me! I was hoping I'd find more items but I guess I can't complain. The price is different everyday. I'm thinking they might have better items whenever the price is higher. Everything was a dollar the day I went. I found a few new items. I got: a sealed Elton John CD (CDs are old school I know! Lol), sealed plastic cups, coasters with dogs on them, thank you cards, a couple of small toys for my son, carpet cleaner and a few other misc. items. I spent $8 total so not bad.If you're expecting a spotless, clean place, this isn't it. The tables they have the stuff on top of are icky. The floors are also gross. The good thing is that they offer hand sanitizer and gloves to the customers. You get a plastic bag to put your items in. After looking around you get in line and pay. They're open everyday except for Thursdays. Thursdays are for restocking the place. I'll go back soon! You never know what you'll find!"
"I was able to buy a George Forman while there! I am living out of a hotel right now and needed something other than a microwave to head my food up! I was so happy, it was really cheap and the staff were nice.I got some sandwich components to make panini's, and seasonings for the other food. I was surprised they had so many vegetables at a cheap price. I have a birthday party I am going to soon and was able to get Minecraft decorations for it as well. It really is a one stop shop! The nail polish left my fingers dyed yellow/red so I would not suggest them, but the nail polish remover did the job!"
"Nice little discount store for kids, teens or those young at heart. Lots of small items like toys, games, sports, cosmetics, pet items, food and gifts. This is one of those stores that's tempting for impulse shoppers. Better to go in there with a plan."
"Our visit to the local dollar market was a pleasant surprise. Nestled in the neighborhood, it offers a treasure trove of items ranging from cute sunglasses for just a dollar to fashion accessories and household essentials. We found ourselves in a bit of a predicament, having spilled champagne on our Birkin bag the night before and needing cloths for cleaning. To our delight, the dollar market had everything we needed and more.It proved to be a convenient stop with excellent service in the neighborhood, providing a solution to our immediate needs and offering a variety of unexpected finds. We'll definitely be returning to this gem of a store for any future emergencies or everyday essentials."
"First Dollar store I visited in Texas! This place is newish and near the swimming class that I take my kids to. The employees were very friendly and helpful; most importantly, they were around and visible, cleaning and stocking the store. The pricing is interesting, it's not much less expensive than a Walmart or a CVS but the wares are mixture of brand names and 99 cent store goods. The selection could be better but it does have more stock than say a gas station. It's definitely not a dollar though."
"If you don't mind digging through scattered bins for a bargain this is the place. Be aware that many of the shoppers there are resellers and are somewhat aggressive in looking for the best items. As in the advertisements prices are reduced daily, starting on Friday ($8) to Wednesday ($1). Mostly, these are items from Amazon that may be returns or overstock. Difficult to know what is in sealed boxes but there is a counter where you can take the item to be inspected. If you tear open a box, you may be asked to leave. There is every type of item. Books, clothing, linen, shelving, outdated foods, vitamins, etc. Be aware that you will be charged $0.12 for your bag. Great bags for the price. I have found some great buys. I think the best day to shop is on Monday. Price is $3 day. Not so crowded and few resellers. There is much left on $1 day. Plan on spending at least an hour looking."
"Love the perfumes they carry. I do recommend this one. Smells beautiful and it lasts a good couple of hours."
