"I'm not a coffee drinker by any stretch--however, I consider myself a Arnold Palmer FIEND. I drink them at every opportunity and have tried many before. I was not expecting anything out of the ordinary when I tried Native Grounds, given that most coffee shops have Arnold Palmers as an afterthought, as simple as just Minute Maid and Lipton. Native Grounds REALLY impressed me; their lemonade is handmade *in the moment*, and they muddle with sugar syrup and include their lemons in the drink. The result is a super lemon-y, refreshing, and delicious Arnold Palmer. Not overly sweet, which is a huge factor in what makes an Arnold Palmer go from just mediocre to GREAT. This was an excellent surprise and I am very pleased.If you are a coffee drinker, you may think this is silly, because APs are so simple. But it takes special place to make a drink as simple as this memorable enough to make a review. Will be back!"

This is not a coffee place it's a Mercado of sorts you can get coffee, tea, food, other items and also buy vintage items. If it's good coffee and local toaster your looking for Las Cruces isn't the place none of the folk compete in national competitions for competence of coffee bean and roasting and origins. The same applies to tea. This is a place for meeting up, snacking, and buying what las cruces considers vintage. I would recommend more gluten free items."

"This is a lovely place with delectable offerings of fresh-made quiche and pastries. I ordered a drip coffee (they inquire as to your preference: light roast, medium roast, dark roast) and I was pleased they offer honey as a sweetener, which I chose with cream and it was served hot and perfectly mixed. On the day of my visit, three quiche were available. After thoroughly savoring the mushroom onion selection served with roasted, herbed butternut squash, I was challenged not to go back for the green chili and/or the bacon. (I am prone to eating for the ancestors when inspired)!Instead of ordering another quiche, to my delight, they had fresh, homemade {from scratch it seemed} pumpkin pie that was beyond scrumptious with an imaginative, complementary crust. Yes, I did also pick up a couple pastries because sometimes you can just tell everything is going to be fabulous and my Spidey sense did not let me down this time! The New Mexican cookie -biscochito- absorbed to perfection my coffee concoction! I also picked up something that was reminiscent of a cake my aunt used to make. I saw pineapple and coconut...And thought, I may as well give it a shot! Happy International Women's Day to me--It was spot on (and gluten free). My aunt's version has a cream cheese frosting and walnuts, which this version did not include; but, it was lacking nothing in flavor. While what is offered to ingest is remarkable, especially for this area of the world... The ambience is of the highest vibration as far as I am concerned. Eclectic instruments adorn the walls, random bird nests and paintings are a feast for the eyes everywhere you look. (A good game of eye spy could be had here) --And though it is very cozy, there's plenty of seating for everyone, especially if you don't mind community seating. There are seats indoors and outdoors available for sitting privately. You will find local fare here as well. Walking sticks, artwork, jewelry, cards to mention a few. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. This place is a treat no matter why you venture in. The staff illuminates an elevated friendly. There's more of a welcome, come hang with us vibe. I'm sincerely looking forward to returning."

The server was great. She got our food out and check on us regularly I ordered the birria grilled cheese sandwich. It came with birria and Costra cheese encased in a Texas toast grilled cheese sandwich sliced diagonally. It came with a little tin of onions and cilantro, and a small cup of spicy broth. I ordered a side of potatoes and a side of green poblano sauce Delicious.Liz got an order of lemon poppy French toast with a side of scrambled eggs. It did not last long either. The French toast was topped with a blueberry sauce. It looked good too.Tip for the business make sure the entrance through the wall or gate is clearly marked. We got confused and then an owner to another suite told us the way we were going in wasn't to the Pink Cloud, but there wasn't another way in.Tip: get together early or be ready for a bit of a wait.All I'm all, a great visit to the Pink Cloud."

If you love healthy food, a warm and fun-loving staff, and a vibrant setting in one of the most scenic towns in America, this is the place to go.The restaurant is quite small, but the staff does an amazing job of keeping things running smoothly. There are only a couple of tables for larger parties, so when a party of two arrived, the staff handled the seating adjustment with such care and finesse that no one was inconvenienced. It was truly impressive.Everything appears to be homemade, and today's lunch was exceptional. I had the butternut squash soup and spinach quiche, accompanied by homemade bread that was absolutely out of this world.What I really loved was the carefree, happy vibe of everyone who worked there--you can always tell when people truly enjoy what they do. "Vise Coffee looked so cozy I drove 6 hours for it. Here's why: My brother and I are in the last steps of forming a business and needed a remote city far from Austin to lock in for a final push "workcation." We whittled down our choices to Nacogdoches, College Station, San Angelo, or Alpine. Upon further research we didn't care to explore the vibrant local narcotics scene in Nacogdoches or San Angelo, and weren't smitten at College Station since their only two attractions are the "George H. W. Bush Presidential Library" and a football team that hasn't passed over 500 yards in a season since 2011.But the deal breaker was Vise Coffee's beautiful facade popping up in a Google search of Alpine. We were stoked to do some work inside this adobe, desert looking building, so we booked the Airbnb and drove over. We were greeted by a if-Jason-Mamoa-was-born-in-west-texas looking barista, who offered great service and great coffee. I imagine out-of-towners don't shack up here too often though, because we got approached multiple times by younger locals who appeared starved of sub-30 year old company.If you're in town stop by. Sweet spot with great service. Alpine is more than a stop on the way to Big Bend!"
