"Today at work I bought pre packed sandwich with a macaroni side salad. I bit into an acrylic finger nail in my salad."
"I went to pick up some pre-ordered meals for my daughter and son-in-law from this locale. I was very impressed with the meals that I picked up and the establishment was very clean and orderly and they had curb side pick up. My daughter and son-in-law report that they have a lot of different variety of meals to pick from and that they have all been good and very tasty."
"We rented a chocolate and chamoy fountain for our wedding on the 15th of October at Selarom ballroom. They were timely and decorated beautifully!! It went with our theme, was elegant and absolutely delicious!! The attendant was AMAZING!! He was so polite, kind, quick and clean!!He kept wanting me to get a plate and of course being a bride you're always pulled in a. Inch of directions, before shutting down, he hunted me down and made a plate especially for me to have!!!What an amazing satisfying job!!! I will definitely be using this company again!!! So so happy they made my special day even better!!!"
"BobBea's Rolling Grill, usually parked outside of Landmark Mercantile in Mesquite on the weekends, is the best place to fulfill your cravings for New Mexican, Mexican classics with trendy twists. Chef Bobby and his wife Bea have been perfecting their business for over 30 years and always strive to serve up delicious meals for affordable prices. My recommendation is to try their Landmark bowl and/or their savory brisket. Make sure to check out BobBea's Catering, their more upscale service for your banquets, quinceañeras, weddings. You won't be disappointed!"
"Ok so here is the thing, i might sound biased while i write this review for a couple of reasons. Back when i lived in J town, we used to go to the Mercado and I fondly remember this older woman that would sell little donuts that she would make in front of you. The Donuts themselves were nothing out of this world, just sprinkled with a sugar and cinnamon mixture and that's it. What made them amazing was the just made warmth that each of them had.Fast Forward many years and I find myself at the El Paso Burger and Craft Beer fest, after grabbing a few burgs and settling down to drink them with some water, i found myself needing a little bit of sweetness for an after meal snack. After thinking about my regular options we noticed this little red food truck, a cute little stand up sign informing us of the different "creations" and a smiling woman working the cashier station. We walk up and notice that they sell mini donuts, and not just those regular mini donuts that filled both my stomach and heart up with happiness back in my childhood, but these awesome "creations" that had things such as Nutella, Chocolate, strawberry drizzle, nuts, whipped cream...ever so many combinations that just made your mouth water. I got the original, and it was as if though i was transported to J town and i was in front of that lady as she smiled while i ate her delicious pastries (that sounded kinda creepy).Recently i saw the truck again at Chalk the Block and we were able to try out their Apple Pie Mini Donuts...and let me tell you...they were simply AMAZING! This place seriously is amazing, and if you do find it roaming around please...please....PLEASE!!! buy some of their delicious donuts and try their awesome Mango lemonade...also tell em Pocket sent ya, even tho they probably have no idea who i am...JUST DO EEET!"
"Lovely food. We've picked up twice and they deliver superb quality and presentation. Great outside source for a party or gathering in your home. A table ordered off the menu while I was waiting for my takeout order. The burratta and panini they had were gorgeous. Will come in for a patio seating next time. Great addition for LC."
"A sleeper taco/torta/burger place in Sunland Park Mall now Shoppes at Solana. I was on my way to The Greenery, but didn't have much time for what I knew would be a longer meal. I stopped by here and asked about customer favorites, which they were glad to share about. I settled on the carne asada tacos, which made for a satisfying lunch! The meat is tender and juicy with lots of flavor thanks to the generous serving of lime and cilantro. The salsa is so tasty, just the right amount of hot for me, and the plate rounds out nicely with the charro beans. The place looks super clean, the food came out relatively quickly, and I look forward to future meals here. I'm eager to pig out on their MX burger with a side of jamaica. They also have good options for the little ones, too!"
"Booking almost a year in advance, we contracted with Dickerson's catering to cater my son's bar mitzvah lunch. The caterers were to provide linens, utensils and plates, and then the following menu:Assorted pastriesFruit displaySandwich tray (egg salad and tuna salad)KugleBagels and salmonJuice water coffeeThis menu is priced at 18.00 per person plus 20% gratuity and tax. On the day of the bar mitzvah, the caterers arrived on time and laid out the food, but what they provided was not what we had contracted for.For 100 people, the caterers provided 35 bagels. The bagels quickly ran out, and that was the end of that. For 100 people, the caterers provided 1 salmon filet that serves 30 people. Again, the salmon ran out right away. There was no fruit display at all.The pastries ran out, and additional baked goods had to be provided from things that were already in the temple kitchen. The big trays of kugel tasted good, but it was clear that they had been cooked long before, since they were greyish-green in color, rather than potato colored with golden brown tops! Most damningly, whereas I would have interpreted "sandwich tray" to mean a tray full of sandwiches, what was provided was a giant bowl of premade tuna salad and a giant bowl of premade egg salad. And by giant, I mean punch-bowl size. Both the tuna and the egg salad were so swimming in mayo that you would have needed a slotted spoon to get some of them onto your plate. These were served alongside pieces of bread, so that people had to make their own extremely sloppy sandwiches. To add insult to injury, the egg salad must have been made of old eggs, because it tasted rubbery. I was REALLY embarrassed at what ended up being served to my guests. My sister thought that the tuna salad was so disgusting and hilarious that she actually took a picture of it with her cellphone. To her credit, Marcie Dickerson was extremely apologetic for the way things turned out; but I don't know why she wasn't personally supervising the event . . . it seems like had she been, none of this would have happened. After the fact she said that she wouldn't charge me. I said that was a bit excessive, since people DID eat, they just ate food that was not at all what was advertised. In any event, you only get one chance to make an impression on someone; and Dickerson's catering made a bad impression, not just on me, but on all the people who came to the event that day. So for anyone considering hiring a caterer, caveat emptor!!"
"My friends picked up lunch here twice now and brought it over to me.I have to say the food is excellent. The prices aren't bad at all. Give it a try."
"The award-winning beef brisket was amazing. The side of beans yummy! Green beans good too. Wish I could have tried the slaw but they were out. My partner's pulled pork was good but a bit salty. Beautiful building with a nice vibe. Spotless restrooms. Excellent fast service. Would definitely stop if passing through El Paso again!"
"The best Mexican food in las cruces. Great services family owned. I can't find any authentic food. The best! hands down. It's low key in a gas station. We'll worth it!"
"Chile rellano burrito with a side of hatch red sauce was to die for. Everything is clearly fresh and homemade and worth every penny. Friendly workers and just an amazing food experience. If you see this truck, you need to stop here."

Everything is better in miniature! Take donuts, put them in the shrinkinator and you have a delicious sharable dessert. I thought the sugar cinnamon could have used a little more cinnamon. Also, about half an hour after I ordered, they put out their specialty donut display. I totally would've like to try a donut covered in Nutella...(not that I really NEED that!)

The outdoor space was inviting and delightful. The heaters were just right. There are a few inside spots. We had drinks and the staff was very good. We also had the melon and prosciutto starter. The presentation was beautiful. We could not resist an order of flatbread with pepperoni and green chili. The food was excellent! Can't wait to return and really hope people wlll catch on that this is a premium place to meet up!!

We were at the mall getting hungry so we got torta de milanesa, flautas and quesadilla, the torta was amazingly good! But when I opened the flauta plate? ... they were only two sad thin flautas! For $11.99! What a rip off

"CASSAVA IS SUSTENANCE, CASSAVA IS LIFECassava is sustenance, Cassava is life. It is a staple in many diets and fuels the tropics with its rich carbohydrates and cultural influence. Here in El Paso, Cassava reincarnates the passionate spirit of Puerto Rican cuisine. From savoury dishes to decadent sweets, Cassava invites you to a festive experience, like an edible postcard from the Caribbean. Never forget the small, yet mighty flavours of this rich port of the tropics and island of enchantment. The FOOD:Churrifongo: WHEN CHIMICHURRI STEAK MEETS THE BIG MOFONGOTo call this meat and potatoes would be a big understatement. The Churrifongo is a beef skirt steak roulade (meat roll up) stuffed with mofongo, a deliciously savoury mash of fried plantains with garlic, salt, oil, and various spices. Mofongo is like mashed potatoes taken to the next level and enhanced by a ton of flavour. The beef skirt steak was juicy and robust, which was balanced by a side salad and yellow rice with earthy green pigeon beans. The steak is both tender and chewy at the same time, but retains a lot of the beefy flavour. The chimichurri sauce provides anearthy and herbal taste suspended in oil.The VERDICT: DELICACIES FROM THE RICH PORT, THE ISLAND OF ENCHANTMENTEach culture has cuisine that is intimately interwoven into their history. It is their way of life. It is how they stand the test of time. It is who they are. Cassava represents times of celebration and honors the times of struggle that allow us to appreciate what we have. The Churrifongo is a fancy celebration of Puerto Rican cuisine with a cut of skirt steak wrapped around the cultural staple of mofongo, the heavenly stepbrother of mashed potatoes, but with an intensity of spices and flavours. If you want a dish with a ton of umami flavour, then definitely try the Churrifongo or any of the mofongo, bifongo, or trifongo. I will definitely be back to try the Puerto Rican desserts and really embrace the baked goods."
"I've been fortunate to try cakes made by Tanya so when I heard when she launched her own endeavor that would manifest her baking talents, I was intrigued. The red velvet whoopy must come with a warning because the mind will be blown and definitely worthy of being on the menu for ones last meal. I can't wait to sample the rest of her menu!"
"I got to meet Amy through a friend and I asked Amy to cater an event. It was so delicious and she went over and above what we asked for! She gave us absolutely delicious vegetarian options for our vegetarian friends, and we are hooked! She takes her experience of having a first-class restaurant in San Francisco for 10 years and brings that experience to our events. She is going to do all of our events from now on! Thank you to Amy and her team!"
"We Had El Taco Men Catering cater for us at a body shop and have to say they were on point!Tacos, beans ,baked potatoes for 60 men and all of us were very happy. They came in and set up (very professional and right on time) stayed to serve everyone and cleaned up everything before they left. I absolutely recommend them and will use them again for catering!"
"Great food!! Tacos, Philly Cheese, the lizard burger with big grilled long chile. All prepared fresh!!!Papas Locas the Mrs favorite. Need them back at Public Highway 28!!!!!"
"This review is only for the Dining Room experience, and after it re-opened for lunch on June 22, 2020 after being closed for three months. Unlike having some options such as salad only, salad/soup buffet or main daily-themed full course buffet with salad buffet, it now only offers a cafeteria-style main course serving line. Drink choices are either bottled water or canned soft drinks. You can ask any of the staff persons circulating the dining area for seconds or any additional items you wish since you will not be able to return to the serving line, so it's still de facto all-you-can-eat lunch for $10.25. Daily menu theme has not been changed, so Monday is Asian; Tuesday is Mexican; Wednesday is German; Thursday is BBQ; and Friday is Soul Food (perhaps the most popular day). Lunch is from 11 am to 1 pm.Dining area seating is less than what it used to be due to maintaining proper distancing among patrons. Seating is up to four per table. You have to keep your face mask upon entering the facility, use hand sanitizer, register your name, and then proceed to the serving line maintaining distancing. Just follow the marking on the floor--it's one-way traffic so that you can avoid running into other patrons. You have a choice of taking your food out, or dine-in. Obviously, you can take your face mask when you sit down to eat. I enjoyed my German food on Wednesday (photo). I will probably start making this place my regular lunch option as I used to come here before it closed for COVID-19 precautions almost three months ago."
"By far the best birria food truck. I got 8 quesabirria tacos for $10. The consome was perfect and so flavorful and not greasy. The tacos are filled with delicious tender meat and omgh so cheesy.. yummy goodness. I went to the location on country club n upper valley. I've gone twice and will drive all the way from the far east."
"I 100 percent recommend Urbano Food Group! UFG is an El Paso gem. These are always my favorite types of places to visit! Their food is always made with love and you aren't just a number. UFG first opened their doors in 2018 in downtown El Paso. I want to say they've been at this location for over a year now...it might be two now. They're El Paso's first ever digital kitchen. This means they get to spend more time on the quality of the food. You won't be able to sit down directly inside of their place of business. It's a tiny kitchen and there's no space for a dining area. However, there's a park across the street or tables on the first floor. You can also park (not in the covered, reserved spaces please...not even for a few minutes! You run the risk of your car being towed, even if you park there for five minutes!) nearby and eat in your car. I was hungry when I went so I did a little bit of that. You can parallel park in front of their place for pickup (call/text 915-244-2048 to pick up your order). You can also get down and ring their doorbell. Whatever you do, don't park in the covered parking at anytime. They're located on the first floor of the building. Go to the back of the building and you'll easily find them. To be honest, I'm not really into sandwiches. However, UFG was a game changer. The ingredients tasted fresh and meshed well together. I tried the gluten free bread. It tasted pretty much the same as regular white bread. I couldn't really tell the difference. I got the primo sandwich which is a turkey sandwich with cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, spinach and tomato. You can also get chipotle mayo in it but I skipped it. I might try it another time. The sandwich was amazing! I didn't know I could get excited over a sandwich but there I was! All of their sandwiches come with chips. I chose jalapeno chips. They were tasty and went perfectly with this sandwich. I have my jalapeno stash at home so I ate one with the sandwich, too. It was perfect! I also ordered an unsweet iced tea with mango slices in it. It was good! I found myself eating all of the mango before finishing the tea. It added a nice, little flavor to the tea. I also got one of their non-dairy/vegan dark chocolate ice creams. It was good too! It tastes similar to Breyer's Low Carb chocolate ice cream. Aside from what I've mentioned, Urbano also carries: smoothies, smoothie bowls, breakfast foods, chicken salad, various other sandwiches and drinks. I think it's a good place to visit if you're working on improving your health. The place is also super clean! It's completely spotless/immaculate. Gilberto the owner is really nice and accommodating. I will be BACK really soon! Consider supporting this Latino/LGBTQ owned business! They also do catering. I would totally consider them for catering! P.S. Order your meal online before showing up at urbanofoodgroupep.com They're on Uber Eats, too."
"On the Go Bistro is a Caterer and Food Trailer, and it's AWESOME! If you catch their trailer around town (usually in the N.E.) give them a try, you won't regret it.They can cater any size group with a variety of custom menu options and also offer meal deliver and private chef services. I used their meal delivery service on V-Day 2016. They worked with me on a menu to fit within my budget, arrived on time, and the food was perfect.Highly recommended, for all your catering needs, or hit up their food trailer for a special treat (check their facebook page for locations)"
"The owner of this truck used to cook out of a kitchen in a dive bar a while ago and it was always a treat to have some delicious late night food after working at the brewery down the way. Now his truck is parked around town throughout the week and it is awesome when it's in your neighborhood. He can make a variety of food and it is all GOOD! I've had his lo-mein and fried rice, wings and recently his pastrami eggrolls. We ordered 1 order of eggrolls and then luckily changed our mind at the last minute and shared two amongst four of us. Basically they're pastrami, swiss and kraut in wonton wrappers deep fried and served with a side of 1000 island. They are so great and go very well with several beers. We were so excited to see this truck at Danny's and hope they continue to go there in the future."
"Chefs Chris and Santi not only helped me put a menu together for our event, but they also assisted with the best way to set up in the space we had. The food was absolutely delish and fresh and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are ever looking for a catering company that is professional, reasonably priced and that makes delicious, fresh food, then do yourself a favor and call Around the World catering!"
"I have not gotten any food from Smoked Soul that I have not liked. He has a constant menu and will occasionally introduce a limited item. Everything is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich. But don't be afraid to ask for it not spicy as each chicken is breaded when you order it. The food comes out hot and the condiments that he mixes up are fantastic. He has his own BBQ sauce and ranch dressing that is way better than Sweet Baby Rays or Hidden Valley. The fries that he produces have a seasoning on it that have had to ask for a tub of so that I can sprinkle on other things too. The owners are super nice and great to talk to. Try it out and you will not be disappointed."
"Mind blowing place to experience! Ok, so right off the base, you are hit with this extravagant looking manor with transcendent looking lights and tall gated entrances and tall stands with fire in them. Beautifully decorated hostess stand area with flower bouquets and all kinds of floral accents. Getting to this entrance was a bit of a hassle with either finding parking that's not too far on the streets or waiting in a bit of a line for valet. At least valet is included with your ticket that you purchase in order to attend any of their events. This night also had one complimentary glass of wine, red or white.I went on their Italian night themed events, which included an endless serving of pasta that you mix and match on these cards they give you. Each time you finish a plate, you can get another card and pick your next combo. It does take a while to finally get your next plate though, so you may want to anticipate that. I highly recommend their alfredo or bolognese sauces! I wasn't a fan of their pesto nor their vegetable pasta, which proved to be a veggie based pasta. We ended up being on the 2nd floor which served to be a bit of a hassle for either waiting on food or retrieving your self serve salad or dessert, which were downstairs. We made our way down for some antipasta and decided to hold off on bringing up desserts because we didn't want to crowd the table. Well, we soon found out that we should have grabbed it while the taking was good... meaning, all those lovely looking desserts that we saw at the beginning were absolutely GONE. We got lucky that they happen to bring out these other random finger desserts like a blondie or lemon tart or small cuts of cheesecake. So that was a bit of a bummer. You will definitely get a kick out of touring the manor as they had multiple different themed rooms. I absolutely ADORED their bridal themed one and they had this killer Chinese New Year one. Best part was their apparent "secret tour" which led you upstairs to a third floor where they had a billiard and bar lounge. Supposedly it's a bit haunted too so the employee who brought us up there said he never goes up there by himself. Neat right?! lolHighly highly recommend this experience! Just make sure you take head all my advice for parking, nabbing desserts ahead of time, and anticipating your next round of pasta! so get a table downstairs basically lol."
"We used catering solutions for our wedding. Irasema was great! She was able to make something mixing my Central American heritage with my husbands Mexican heritage. Everyone loved the food and even the photographer who has been to a lot of weddings said this was some of the best food she has had at a wedding! Very professional. Would recommend highly!"
"Food was awesome great for lunches. soups a good try the The tacos: Very good and feeling: very comfortable relaxing environment with a Mexican motif"
"I hired Chasing Butterflies Pastries to bake and design the cake for what has been by far the most important day of my life...my wedding. Unfortunately to say, they showed up 2 and a half hours late with a cake that was falling appart and falling short of specifications (see pictures). I had also paid them an additional fee to design some custom made fondant cake toppers that turned out to be plastic, and store bought. I wouldn't recommend this vendor to anyone seeking to have their dream wedding cake."
"The best, most dependable, most experienced, and reasonably priced caterer in El Paso. Jerry Chaplain has been doing it great for years and the fact that he retains so many of his servers, and you see them at event after event, is a testament to the fact that he probably treats them as well as his clients. We have hosted numerous events over the years with Chaplain Catering by our side and have never been disappointed. A five star, can't miss experience every time."
"Pretty good! I got to taste Healthy Shack's food after a recent doctor's appointment at Texas Tech. The good thing about going to Texas Tech is that there's always food trucks parked outside! I always try different ones whenever I go to a doctor's appointment there. I don't like going to doctor's appointments (does anyone actually like them??) but...I always look forward to trying food from the food trucks parked there! Gotta make the best out of the visit I guess? Lol. Anyway...Healthy Shack offers a variety of healthy foods including vegan entrees. Even though I try to eat vegan foods from time to time...I wasn't in the mood when I visited Healthy Shack. I decided to go with their brisket tacos. They weren't bad! The brisket and veggies were tasty. I didn't really taste any cheese or salsa in them. I feel like these two items could make or break a taco. I also didn't receive any chile/salsa on the side! I thought that was kind of weird! It's hard for me to eat a taco without a side of chile/salsa! I was starving so I tried not to think about it too much. Sorry but just for these two items alone, I have to deduct a star. It's sort of like a cardinal sin (imo) to eat a taco without salsa and cheese! There was some type of sauce in the taco but it wasn't like the green or red salsa I'm used to. Am I overreacting? I don't think so. Lol.The brisket tacos came with a salad and a side of pineapple with chili powder and chamoy. I wasn't crazy about the salad. It had some kind of dressing I didn't really like, along with cranberries, carrots and cucumbers with sunflower seeds on top of it. I hardly ate any of it. The pineapple was really good. I ate all of that along with two tacos. There was three tacos but I saved one for Chico, my dog. He devoured it like in five seconds. I would consider ordering a side of the pineapple from Healthy Shack. I think I would only order the tacos if there was red or green salsa with cheese included. Maybe I missed them in the tacos? Overall, a good experience. I believe the owner (Victor) was helping me out. He was nice and friendly. He gave me a punch card in case I return. I don't recall what you get after 10 visits. I had a hard time hearing him because it was pretty loud. Let's support local!"
"Very unpleasant experience with C and P celebrations. Had placed an order for 10 tables and when I tried contacting them to add 2 more tables days in advanced, they didn't pick up. I tried calling, leaving a voicemail, and even trying to contact them through facebook. Come to find out that they deleted their account! I had to find someone else the day before the event to get tables, and they finally text me the day before that they were going to deliver the tables and chairs. I called and told them that I had found someone else and asked if I could get the deposit back because i tried everything to contact them days in advance. All they told me was that the deposit wasn't refundable and they I could save that deposit for another day! Like how is it my fault, I tried everything to contact them. Very frustrating and unprofessional service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM"
"Gooba Pit Bbq. They're parked in the Cowtown Boots parking lot and it's easy to get see from the Freeway but the traffic off Lee Trevino was bad and I couldn't turn off Rojas because people were being really aggressive, so be careful out there. It might be hard but it's worth it for the bbq. I recommend the loaded fries. They're very generous with the meat (you can get brisket or pulled pork) and the fries are hand cut. The bbq pork is also very good, smoky and tender. I didn't like the bbq sauce as much as the one from Rollin'Smoke. I got some leftover bbq sauce and it was amazing with the pork. The portions are HUGE for $12 and they said sometimes they get slammed and sometimes they're slow like when I came today at lunch. Come out and #supportlocal and help them sell out so they can go enjoy the weekend.11401 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso, TX 79936"
