"Though they were a little busy, they fit us in. The steak was cooked well (good) and the natural flavor shined through. Good experience and meal overall"
"Came here for a gal pal's bridal shower and it was perfect. The noise level was just right- enough energy to keep us going but low enough that we could have great conversations. The food was tasty and delicious and of course the drinks well they're famous all on their own. The price is right and there's plenty of parking. This place is iconic to El Paso so if you haven't been here yet, make it a point."

"Andele's dog house was awesome! Food was delicious and portions were huge. I had the enchiladas and my partner had the tacos. Nice salsa and chip bar (chips were warm). Service was excellent and all of the waitresses were busy. They were never just standing around. We will be back!"
"Service and the food are great here. If you haven't been here, you need to try it out. From burgers to chicken sandwiches to fish tacos along with fries and a cold drink, it is worth it."
"Affordable, great food and the staff were so friendly. I was glad to find this gem. Definitely worth it!"
"Just arrived in MN and had our first meal here at the Peppers section of the restaurant, which was New Mexican cuisine. Food and drinks was good and the atmosphere great. Would recommend."
"Loove our experience in Tombstone. Everyone here has been so nice and exceptionally hospitable. Walked by this saloon and was greeted with a nice and warm ambiance. We ordered the Crystal Palace Burger and we enjoyed that."
"First time going to cow burger. I heard it like In & out. Is definitely missing the special sauce. The fries or the usual but the hamburger or actually not to bad. Wanted to try their milkshake but was to full maybe next time. But is worth trying."
"This is a wonderful place, service and food is amazing. The Balsamic mushroom burger is incredible"
"We came for their Wednesday night special- burgers only $6.50 each- can't beat that price! But I was really wowed by the quality of the food itself. They are really worth their full price. Burgers are definitely made fresh, and the amount of delicious toppings that they pile on is extraordinary!! I tried the Kuwaii Burger - my first time ever having a burger with a hot dog on top! It was fun and the flavors were great! My husband got the Gzuss burger- so different from mine, and packed with great flavor. We really enjoyed both of them. We also got the al pastor fries - the "special sauce" they serve it with is amazing, spicy and deliciousWe were totally gluttonous and finished with the Churros. Yum!!! The were perfectly soft and chewy, yet crunchy in the outside. Loved them!Service was great as well. Our server was very positive and attentive and the food came out quick."
"We enjoyed dinner here after seeing a show at the Plaza. Food was really good and reasonable pricing. The service was great and food was pretty quick and hot. We will definitely be going back!"
"This was my first time at Border Burger Bar and it won't be my last. It's a small casual and chill place with a variety or burgers, sandwiches, and hotdogs. On this visit my dad ordered the Border Burger with Onion rings. My mom ordered the Hot Asian with sweet potato fries. I ordered the Hot Asian with Truffle fries. We ordered fried pickles as our appetizer. Everything was hot and fresh. The service was excellent our waitress was beyond efficient with refills and with explaining the menu. The owner is working with a local bakery for the fresh bread. I highly recommend this place. Everything is delicious. Keep it local and eat local El Paso!Today 4/20/24 my parents and I went back to the border burger bar, the name has changed to Phred's burger bar. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. We each tried something completely different. My mom had the k-dog with regular house fries because they were out of sweet potato fries. My dad had the terlingua burrher with onion rings. The onion rings were huge and the burger had good flavor. I had the Pueblo burger with the truffle fries. The bread was fresh and soft. The burgers were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The k-dog was good i just wish the kimichi had been a tad spicier, but that's personal preference. I highly recommended checking them out and supporting local."

I was hoping for some quality Texas meats. Instead, the food quality was about on the level with Chili's. I asked the waitress if she thought I should order the ribeye tacos. She recommended a burger instead. It was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. That said, it was a decent meal at a good price, and our kids enjoyed their food. Our table had no silverware or napkins when we sat down and it took a while to get some. The ambience was nice. Good decor and not too loud.

Los Bandidos De Carlos & Mickeys came highly recommended by my husband who used to frequent it a lot due to living down the street from the restaurant! I had high expectations going in, hoping for some authentic Mexican cuisine in El Paso.We arrived on a weekday for dinner and surprisingly the parking lot was full! We ended up finding a spot in back, thankfully. That was a good sign to me that they were busy, meant their food must be good! Even though the parking was full we were seated right away. I love the vibe of the restaurant. They even had a live mariachi band somewhere inside, I couldn't see them but I could hear them. Really gave that authentic experience.I'm a huge sucker for some good Queso fundido. I had seen it on their menu prior to arriving and already knew that's what I was going to order. As for my husband, he's a fan of their cheese enchiladas so that's what he got. We also ordered some drinks, my husband had a beer and I got their strawberry margarita. It was huge! And delicious. Exactly what I'd expect for a margarita. As for the queso fundido, it was pretty good! Not exactly the melted cheese I'm used to from my favorite spots out here in SoCal but it wasn't bad either. I wish they had the fresh flour tortillas like I get at the restaurants out here but I think they just make their tortillas with a different type of flour. Nothing too big. Everything was still delicious and satisfying.I'd definitely be back to try more of their menu items!

This place is where you bring your out of town family and friends to for good new mexican food. Hands down. As a vegetarian this place is a great in that both thier green and red chile is vegetarian friendly (green is not vegan as it has cheese). We confirmed with the cook who told me directly both are vegetarian friendly, so dont listen to the rumors out there. They also are great for the gluten free folks too, from what my friend (has an intolerance) reports. All in all this place is great all year round! Love those place!

I took a drive today to check out this place. It's an older restaurant so you get a different feel. Service was great. The food was also very good. I had the brunch burger special that came with an egg and I added a green chile. The burger was like a home made burger as the meat was very thick. The restaurant itself has some older furniture and the architecture of the building. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you want to experience eating at a western saloon and don't mind the wait, this place has the ambiance and feel of it from the decor, paintings and the bar is something to experience. Established in 1879 it's worth checking out. They mainly serve American food and the place is very family friendly to include pets. Granted, the wait took 30 minutes only because it was during lunch hour and is to be expected. We enjoyed ourselves nonetheless so it was worth the wait. I suggest to check the weather beforehand because it was windy the day we went, so it was dusty from the unpaved part road of Main Street.

"I decided to take my sister out for an early dinner. We went in and were greeted with a bubbly hostess who sat us and asked what we wanted to drink and we both got some sweet tea. The place is quaint with murals painted on the walls. My sister ordered the two shrimp taco plate and I ordered the chicken flauta plate. After having some chips and hot salsa, we ate and enjoyed our meal. They were both quite tasty. My sister was overwhelmed with her meal. She couldn't stop talking about it and said it was the most authentic she's had in such a long time and gave it a 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend anyone that comes around Las Cruces NM. give this place a go. We'll definitely be back. I need to try these awesome margaritas I've heard so much about as well. Miguel was our server and he was polite and professional. We also met Raymond and he was a nice gentleman from the family owned restaurant."
"Good as it ever was! This is the true charcoaler that we knew growing up! We were out here about four months ago, and it was simply awful, BUT not tonight! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burgers had that famous charbroiled taste, and the onion rings were spectacular! The reason they were so good was because we asked them NOT to include the barbecue sauce! If you don't specifically let them know no bbq sauce, they will slather those patties like no one's business, so forewarned is forearmed! We will he returning very soon, most definitely."
"This was hands down the best menudo I have ever had!!!! It was not too thick and had the right amount of meat. The hominy was a great throwback as the East and West coast menudos do not include it. Having bread instead of tortillas was a great mix as well. I'm definitely coming here for my menudo when I visit again."
"Stopped in for a quick afternoon snack. Great potato skins and great service by Gina!"
"This restaurant is where the locals eats, the staff do the customers by their names. The customers knew the staff. It was very much like eating at a family restaurant with family. I ordered Chile Relleno, cheese enchilada, refried beans and rice. My hubby ordered the Chile Relleno burrito - absolutely delicious. The green enchilada sauce was one of the best I've ever eaten-delicious Shelley flavor creamy and spicy - loved it!!"
"Great FOOD, service is great! Very happy for the price and atmosphere. Enjoyed my brunch! The buffet is AMAZING and the ladies provided the serving were very accommodating and informative!"
"This is my go to place for burgers, crisp and delicious French fries. I can't begin to accurately explain how great the fruit ice is, it's like fresh powdered snow. You have to try it to understand! Banana coconut and pina colada are my favs."
"Today my husband and I stopped in the Burger Nook to try the Great Burger and it did not disappoint. Their burgers were so juicy, delicious, and amazing that I am already craving another one. Their homemade fries and onion rings are super yummy too. If you are craving a delicious burger I highly recommend giving this family owned business a try. You won't regret it!!!!"
"I usually come here about once a year but they have stayed consistent since opening. Bread always fresh, burger always seasoned and you cant beat whatever the daily special is for $9. I think this is the best burger in town. Voodoo fries or tots are the way to go. I havent eaten in but the service seems legit. The place is big enough to hold a medium size crowd and is decorated "voodoo" style with the skulls and such. No curse here accept wanting to back!"
"Delicious food and well priced, friendly staff. Small place but it's a good whole in the wall to find!"
"LOL ate the whole burger patty combo and forgot to take a picture But there are a ton of photos already posted. This burger joint is my favorite It is a must if you are visiting El Paso. Such a hole in the wall gem!"
"The food is always good. Service is very nice and quick. Clean and fresh. Never pass up dessert, worth saving space for dessert!!!"
"I'm going to start off saying sorry so me and family recently move to El Paso and on one of our many trips here looking for home spoke with a lady on the plane and she told us about some places we had to try what a Buger and Chico's needless to say some people will eat any thing these are taquitos not tacos I love El Paso but I'm going to. Need some finding some California flavored Mexican food lol I have ground beef and hotdog tacos since I've been here so back to Chico's taquitos not tacos they were alright nothing special with that being their was a lot of family's there enjoy the taquitos lol I wanted tacos and what a burger makes me miss in and out lol tell me where to get a good burger got me eating burgers king"
"Food was very filling! We were full with just the tots. I think we would order just the tots in the future. The avocado rose was a sweet touch! This was so delicious! I did not take a picture of my husband's avocado toast, and he did not like the onion flavor. It comes with pickled onion and the avocado toast tasted like onion juice had been added or maybe it was on top before arriving to the table. I like onions so this would not have bothered me personally. The meat on my whole hog was a bit dry. It this, too, was a very filling meal! I thought the amount of food was amazing for the price! We had the huge breakfast tots plate, avocado toast, and whole hog omelette (also huge plate) for 40$. Place was clean and inviting.Service was amazing! Adan was friendly and kept checking in on us. Great service!"
"Aylin was fantastic tonight! She served us with a smile and kept the drinks flowing. Great night, delicious food, and excellent drinks. Overall, a 100% experience! Thank you!"
"First stop in El Paso. We ordered the half chicken meal with baked potato, macaroni salad and green salad. The food and service here was great. The place is clean and they bring you some tortillas and sauces with your meal. So good! They have some other healthier options I saw that looked so delicious like a quinoa salad with veggies and meat."
"This place is the bomb. When I was younger this place was a 7 eleven gas station and I use to get Slurpee's from here during the summer. The service was very friendly and helpful. When we ordered, the food came out extremely quick and fresh. The food was so delicious!! I ordered the Andre burger and my goodness it's so good. The green chili sauce goes perfect with this burger. You can tell this place is where locals go. The prices were not expensive and very good portions for the price. I definitely recommend this place even though I don't live in El Paso anymore, I will be coming back when visiting."
"This place is deceiving with their food prices... Website has one price, you come into the place they have another price! They will not honor the price I got on the website and had to leave food behind.... asked for the supervisor and the employees were afraid to give out the name or phone number... stating they could not give me his information. Service is ok I guessambiance.... Blah"
"Don Carbón is my go to jam in El Paso. They have been providing me, my friends and my family with delicious charcoal grilled chickens for years and when Covid hit, I became concerned. I had been consistently asking if they were going to reopen their dining areas anytime soon and finally today I was able to go inside! They kept insisting they wanted to make sure it was safe to reopen! I had never been to the Upper Valley location because it's so far off the beaten path for me, but I was impressed with the way they were running it. First. The sanitation tunnel to enter. Kinda wild, kinda awesome, new experience for me. You walk through what I can only assume is misters containing sanitizing agent. Impressive. On top of that, everyone was masked up, temperatures were checked, constant wiping and sanitizing. Color me impressed. My only disappointment is that it's probably going to be hard to find a table as they continue to spread the word about their reopening. Love this place. Chicken and charro beans were on point as usual. I'll be back.... maybe later today with the family."
"Desebrada tacos were terrible, tasted like old oil. Meat was mushy and nothing else. Flautas are ok but just that."
"Love La Malinche Cafe. This is an authentic Mexican Ranchero cafe restaurant that serves good buritos, sandwiches and burgers as well as a well priced lunch. Today, I had some fish soup, steak ranchero and tea for $11.99. So definitely a great value. Located at the State Line retail center close to the horse track and Sundland Park this is local gem on the westside. Service is friendly and focused."
"Oh my goodness!!!!!The fit bowl with half chicken and half steak strips was amazing!!!I didn't realised the fit bowl had quinoa and kale which made the bowl even better.Definitely coming back whenever I am back in town."
"Salad Bar is fresh and has a huge variety! (a lot like old school sizzlers this place) except they have a cook who gets down on some ribs! They fall apart delicious flavor. Green Chili bread with butter on a board and they run out it's in high demand. If you want a good meal with lots of choices this is your place! We absolutely love how they take care of us and also love all the take home food It's a sure thing. A good meal. Clean nice atmosphere has a cute little bar in it. It's lively always packed. They serve a Blue Moon that is unmatched! We travel the USA but Wranglers will serve you up the freshest crisp most enjoyable Blue Moon! Man I look forward to it! And they do run out! Go to place for those days you just want a good beer and good food. Sit back and relax enjoy ambiance - The Boyd's"
