"For the lounge only, small clean friendly bar tender. One of the few local water holes. Priced right! Didn't try the restaurant but there was a good crowd, follow up review after I try it. Forgot to mention touchtunes music and 3 t v screens with games on!"
"This is a quaint kitchen and mini bar that is friendly and serves good food. The place was packed with about 30 people. I ate chicken and waffles with apple slaw and fries. It was good."
"Food, services, ambulance: all scored 5 *. Why drive the extra hours to El Paso? Relax, you're home sweet home in Van Horn!"
"We ended up at this place for lunch last minute. We walked it it was dark and gloomy, not much people in main seating area. More noise at the bar. Looks like a family owned restaurant. Not that busy. It took about 25-30 mins to get our food out. I ordered a cheeseburger with added green chili and bacon. My friend had the 3 item combination plate. I wasn't feeling mexican food, but I did snack on the free chips and salsa. The chips were warm and fresh. I enjoyed my burger everything was good. I got crinkle fries with it. My friend said her food was good as well. The only thing I didnt like was the smell of cigarettes when you walk in. I am not sure why restaurants in Texas have so many smoker friendly places."
"Came in for brunch after the Saturday farmers market right outside and the waiter recommended posole for a cold morning. Prices were reasonable and it really hit the spot, staff was very nice too. Venue is also beautiful."
"This is a great dive bar that I went to recently w/some coworkers/friends. The big star is the outdoor patio w/the vegan food truck--which is great for a happy hour after work. The inside space has some seating but not an abundance from what I remember. A number of different options, but mainly worth going to for the outdoor patio."
"Great bar you have the option to go party it up or lounge in their second area. Definitely will be back. Good selection of premium liquor and beer."
"This is a Saturday night stop if you are out bar hopping. Drinks, music and good service."
"Service was no where to be found when I arrived, I had to ask for a waitress, she took forever to bring menu my drink and I overheard another waitress say the bar was closing early, I talked to a couple who are regulars and about the service and they send one of the managers over to assist me. Still waiting a while chips and salsa. It was a pretty busy night, but at least have more wait staff."
"So my buddy is filming a documentary and tends to just walk around filming everything he sees. One of the gentleman come out and ask what the footage is going to be used for, and we gladly tell him just a youtube channel. All is good and we go on to order our apps & food. After some delectable TexMex & a few rounds of beers Rudy comes out and asks us how the food is. Overall the service & friendly vibes will bring me back next time I'm in the area."

The ownership and service are 10 stars. The care that has gone into making a beautiful spot to spend an evening in the NE is out of this world. I love having a local place to call ours! I love that they have so many food and drink options to choose from.

It is hidden gem in a little community neighborhood but the customer service is outstanding from the security (shout to Mark Silvas, don't tackle anyone lol) to the bartenders (shout to Andrea, hope you get to visit Miami soon). While I'm not a gambler ($40 is my max lol) I had a great time, watched the game, jammed to the music and won a little cash ($100, sorry the Bank of Kameelah is closed for loans lol), so go, have fun and good luck!!!Ps: shout out to the security manager (sorry I didn't get your name) for being hella nice too.

Lazy Lizard is not advertised very well. You will not see a sign saying "Here I am!" The place is small located inside the Quality Inn exterior hotel across the street from LA Quinta, Hampton and Holiday Inn. Locals know it of course but if Deming is your half way point and you need a road break and need a drink and little bite then this is your hotel bar. The other hotels do not have a bar. This place has a few TVs to watch sports on as well as a TouchTunes jukebox. The food is okay and if you're hungry then it's good. No elevated menu here. Although the food is not spectacular, the beer is cold and the company and service is great. Stacy the bartender has been there over 20 years she's a local gal with an abundance of info. and can tell you about the area. Definitely a little hidden gem and I'd prefer not to advertise so it's not jam packed next time I pop in but y'all need some signage man! It would be much easier to find especially when it's past 8 pm and you can't find another place in Deming that's open.

There are lots of good options to choose from at this restaurant. My favorite is usually the chilaquiles. The mushrooms are always perfect as well. The strawberry lemonade is always delicious as well. We always have Karine as a server & she is on top of all our needs. Great atmosphere & food

I went to the bar just to try their cocktails. Was very happy to have two cocktails and the cheese fries. I was so angry when I found out. I forgot my leftovers because they were amazing. I had them add some cheddar sauce with the shredded cheese.

We had a group of 20 people, and had the best service ever! My friend had the avocado toast. She said it was very good, but the bread was really chewy. My other friends had the house pizza and they said it was wonderful. I had the Chilaquiles made with duck, it was good and an interesting twist on an old local favorite. The tortilla chips had a lot of duck meat on top a very rich chile sauce, and of course the egg. The ambience was good, the place is so cute way off of the beaten trail. The outside grounds had a farmers market which made the trip even more interesting with Artisans selling their local wares, honey, natural rock jewelry, coffee, homemade jellies, and breads. We had a beautiful morning! Thank you Ardovinos!

Monarch takes life seriously. It's a bar and I love it. A bar where I can chit-chat whilst drinking some variation of a mixed drink, typically Vodka and Sprite (don't you ever utter the words Vodka Water to me, lest you be struck down by the Vodka Gods for ruining the perfect form of clear liquor...heck, even the general Drink Gods may be a little ticked off because when's the last time you heard someone order a Coke Water?).Like I said though, they take life serious...if you're not a regular and only partake in the laid back environment that is Monarch once in a blue moon, you will be carded so don't forget your ID in the car because you will look like a teeny-bopper when they request it (yes, this happened to me on the last trip). In the past year, there's maybe three instances when I had to whip out my ID before entering a bar. The last being the trip to Monarch I'm talking about, the second was my last trip entering Hope & Anchor (although they always seem to card as a younger crowd is usually here), and the first time was when I almost ripped a door off it's hinges at Pint & Peanut trying to make my way to the restroom (not an exaggeration...a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do).Monarch is very dark and one of the few places I have to really consider what I'm wearing before going because I always feel like everyone there has impeccable fashion sense. A lack of fashion sense isn't frowned upon here, don't worry...but I always see a lot of brands and designers that I recognize and occasionally items that appear to be vintage or handmade. And some people just wear polos.I can't positively tell you what prices are like on drinks here, but I think it's safe to assume they're about average for El Paso as I never see anyone counting their pennies. Full bar? Yes and no. Technically they do have a full bar, but they don't carry every main stream drink. You're either looking at top shelf or bottom shelf. There's no inbetweens where I usually comfortably order from, simply because that's usually where the girly sh*t lies.My last trip here was with Albert K and after we picked up some grub from the San Galo Sausage cart. I think it was his first time and I can't speak on his opinions, but he was hesitant to sit back for about an hour at Monarch and that's saying something because I don't think he's the kind of guy that you can force to do something that he doesn't want to. The only thing that cut our trip off abruptly was the fact that we were sitting next to a speaker and out of nowhere it got ridiculously loud. I think they should reconsider the seating arrangement or at least the speaker arrangement because as I was sitting in the black lips chair, for a split second, I thought my hearing had given out as I could no longer hear what anyone was saying. Other than that though, nice place to chill and catch up with friends.

"Best steak and service in the Southwest. If you are not in the mood for steaks then I promise something else their extensive, eclectic, and well thought out menu will satisfy your cravings. The bar service is fast and inviting. They made me feel as if I was at a home away from home.... Try it out and thank me later. .... Ask for Adrian and Tony. Tell em Fonz sent you"
"This place is a party inside so be prepared for LOUD MUSIC AND LOUD PEOPLE!!! They always have entertainment on stage and it's always someone's birthday. I always come when my friend is in town because she loves the queso fundido con chorizo. The margaritas are so good but they don't have pitchers :/ ... maybe that's a good thing for my safety. Ok so the flautas and fajitas are so good!!! I'm not a fan of the rice but is because it was dry. The salsa they have is so good and if you want hotter just ask them for the hot red one and they'll bring it out. I've written a few reviews on this place and my experience hasn't changed ... I enjoy the atmosphere and food here so I'll be back again:) enjoy my pics :)"
"Fun place to with good music and great atmosphere. Our bartender was really prompt and attentive."
"We enjoyed having a few drinks with the friendly locals here on our one night in Alpine. Very chill bar with a great atmosphere"
"We had such a great time here! Driving up to duets can throw you off a bit but no worries, it's there! We ended up parking at the liquor store but there are plenty of spots along the front. Right as you walk in there are two pool tables and the bar is right next to them. There is plenty of seating at the bar. You go up about two steps and this is where the rest of the tables are set up and where the karaoke stage is.There is a Mexican food truck that caters and serves their food here! We ordered two orders of the steak tacos (5 tacos per plate) with everything on top. They are topped with mozzarella cheese, cilantro, onion, and a green salsa. The tacos were DELCIOUS!! The salsa is very spicy so ask for it on the side if you don't do spicy! My husband had a few beers (Stella Artois) and they run about $6 each. There was only one bartender manning the bar so there was a wait on drinks. There are plenty of board games to entertain yourself or just sit and watch people sing their hearts out! We will be back!"
"Aylin was fantastic tonight! She served us with a smile and kept the drinks flowing. Great night, delicious food, and excellent drinks. Overall, a 100% experience! Thank you!"
"Another Bisbee gem off the beaten track for most visitors. Great appetizers and even better burgers. Laid back roadhouse atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to come back and try the steaks. This will be on my regular visitation rounds when in Bisbee."
"They opened today and we had to try them. The decor and environment is super nice! The ropa vieja empanadas were delicious! and their ropa vieja dinner plate and their cuban sandwiches are so full of flavors!"
"Sunset Grill offers a top dining experience in Las Cruces. Views of the golf course are nice, service is great, the bar is well stocked and the drinks are always perfect. The menu has great options for any occasion, moderately priced and food quality is upscale and amazing."
"So great we decided to stop in this friendly, neighborhood bar. We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door. The space is large and full of history. Our welcoming bartender shared some of the stories with us and pointed out the original owners' son, who was sitting at the bar sipping on a cold one. He opened up the ballroom for us to look at. Multiple murals adorn the walls. Drinks are served cold and reasonably priced. Will definitely return."
"A funky Saloon with live music on the outskirts of Sliver City as well as a nursery, landscaping company It's a family run business with the owner and his wife doing a combination of landscaping food and live music, poetry reading and art. The owner told me that they're trying to create a cultural center. The food focuses on wood fired pizza which they have lots of choices including gluten-free and vegan cheese availability. They serve New Mexico spirits for their cocktails and have rotation of local beers and ciders as well as some cans and bottles. They have cane sugar coke and other vintage pops and juices. It's an outstanding place in so many ways."
"So it all started this weekend- I had been teaching back to back Pilates classes and then going to the gym to work me out and by the time I got home I was craving meat. Juicy, fork tender meat. Leo's came to mind but was a bit far and I was exhausted so I ordered delivery of carnitas from a place closer to my house- big mistake- the food was good but did not hit the spot. The craving kept growing g all week and I just went there on my way home from running errands and it was well worth it. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned and seared and fork tender. They came with a little lettuce and tomato and guacamole, beans and cheese- no rice which was perfect for me. Ahhh yes- they were so good and hit the spot!"
"Friendly environment with touch tunes, pool tables and a full bar. Staff is attentive and it is in a great location."
"Not sure why Pockets on Dyer doesn't get better reviews. I guess its not for everyone but we really enjoyed it here. Place was clean, service was great, pool tables were awesome, food was hot and fresh. Not sure what else could have improved our experience. Recommend you download the "touchtunes" app so you can play music on the Jukebox without needing cash and having to wait by the jukebox until you pick all your songs."
"Great hangout spot on weekends. Can't beat the $2 Tecate and Tecate Light 12 oz cans all day, every day. Also great for brunch. $7 pozole and $1 bloody Marys. The service is very attentive, the ambiance is chic and the music selection is great. I highly recommend this place."
"I've taken several groups here and we always enjoy it. Luckily they have physical menus now, which was an issue with my mom's older friends before. I love the pernil & mofongo, my mom loves the chicken with garlic sauce, and we both love the coquito."
"First time there and not very impressed. My patty melt didn't even have onions on it. Reuben was okay. The others said the burgers were decent."
"Very nice and clean bar with several beers on tap, drinks and specials on many days of the week. Four televisions for sport fans."
"Although the parking is extremely limited I beg you to disregard that and enter this fabulous space. The decor reminds me of a quiet bistro. No music, no TVs! Upon entering you see the open kitchen at the far end. The decor is minimalist but still lovely. The bathroom is pristine! I just could not decide what I wanted to order so I chose the Carrot/Ginger Soup and Red Bell Pepper Tartare. Once my food started arriving I knew this was a restaurant I would be visiting often, at least to give everything on the menu a go. I rarely take photos of my food but these menu items were so spectacularly perfect I could not help taking the photos so I could continue to enjoy thinking about what I ate. Onto my meal:The Carrot/Ginger was wonderful. Lush and smooth it was beautifully prepared. It is the only soup on the menu but it was a stand out. Next let me tell you about the tartare: I have enjoyed many tartares in my time, be it steak, salmon or numerous other ingredients but I had never had a vegetable tartare. This was wonderfully presented and scooping up mouthfuls with the crispy lavash was great. Very flavorful. Lastly, I generally do not order sweets because as the name suggests they are sweet. The Canelé de Bordeaux was the perfect little bite. Not overly sweet but again a beautiful little treat. We should gather together, hire a bus and come here to relax, eat wonderfully prepared and presented food and just discuss all we are eating! Who's with me on this?"
"I've now gotten to experience Jack's Beach House as both a bar/restaurant and an event venue. I prefer it as a simple bar/restaurant.I can understand having events at your business because that means you are giving potential customers a very specific reason to choose your establishment over your competitors, but unfortunately Jack's doesn't have the room to accommodate mid-sized events...at least on the inside (read Beto's review, you'll understand), but they don't have speakers on the outside so sitting outside really isn't a good option if you're there for the event. With all that being said, I returned a week-ish later and while there was a comedy roast going on, it was more so for Jack's patrons as opposed to bringing in customers. This could be called a normal night at Jack's and I loved it.I had plenty of space to move around and even had a table to myself. Although I did know a few people in the bar, having local comedians up on the stage made the room much more inviting for those that came alone. You're just never alone when you're laughing with strangers.Service has some room for improvement, but I did feel as though they were all very smile-y and helpful. If they were just a little more attentive I would totally bump them up to a 4.You come here for the beautiful ladies, decent priced drinks, bar food, picnic blankets on the ceiling, covered patio seating, and the guy in the back wearing a red shirt that is possibly drunk or just genuinely that nice and laughs at everything...even when it's not funny. I like it, it's kinda beachy and low-key."
"Went to have a few drinks with my girlfriend and enjoyed the open air patio. The top level is not opened til after 6pm. The drinks are and si are their tapas. We had the sausage which was delicious. The fried green beans with mustatd aoli sauce. And some seasoned fries. The service was sub par. I would definetly return. Very affordable."
"Amazing food, good service, nice little place with an amazing chill vibe with some bomb ass salsa"
"Definitely the stereotypical local coffee house. Aloof baristas, wacky menu of specialty coffees and drinks, local art, nice seating areas, and way overpriced. It's fun. The coffee really is very good. I enjoy it on special occasions."
