"absolutely delicious. I got the two meat combo so I can take some for lunch the next day and it was even better the next day. The baked beans were delicious the brisket full of flavor. The pulled pork was perfect and even though I'm not a big potato salad person I very much enjoyed that as a side."
"We were driving thru from PHX, AZ. We got the brisket plater and the chili relano. Omg, it was sooooo gooood! Az has mexican food, this place just as good!! Great service and food!! Ohhh and its BYOB. Love it!!"
"Service and the food are great here. If you haven't been here, you need to try it out. From burgers to chicken sandwiches to fish tacos along with fries and a cold drink, it is worth it."
"While visiting our son who's attending UTEPa friend recommended Smoking Joe's we decided to check it out. 5 stars excellent brisket and ribs and the smoke mac & cheese was amazing."
"I find it difficult to enjoy BBQ from a restaurant because I'm constantly critiquing it against my own. This was hands down the best plate of BBQ I've ever had from a restaurant. Everything was consistent. Brisket was spot on for Texas style. Sausage and pulled pork both were excellent. Potato salad had a great mustard wang! Mac N Cheese was a little too runny, but the flavor was really good. They don't skimp on portion sizes or relish items (pickles, onions and jalapeños) Great friendly service to boot. Might seem a little pricey, but not really considering the quality. If you're a real BBQ fan, this is a must try place."
"Best authentic bbq place in the basin. Staff is helpful and efficient. Chip beef sandwich,Mac & cheese, beans, potato salad are all amazing. Decently priced, 2 meals here will run you a little less than getting to 2 meals at Dickeys (for example). Definitely pay a visit to Jack Jordan's, you won't regret it!"
"The food is phenomenal everytime at a great price My personal favorite is the coconut chicken"
"Stopped in on a work trip and we were not disappointed. Chris made sure we had everything we needed. The smash burgers were SO good. This is a popular place and the staff were very busy. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu."
"We came here with some relatives after Moe's was OUT OF FOOD. That was a blessing in disguise because KD's was AMAZING. Like another Yelper said, I felt a little apprehensive walking in here. There were items in "Igloo coolers", crockpots, etc... Like you'd see at a Redneck backyard BBQ. Nonetheless, we ate a damn good meal there! We picked brisket, sausage, ribs and pulled pork. (Meat alone for our tray was $39). I grabbed 3 bags of Lays chips for the kiddos and had a side of coleslaw for myself. Our relatives had a similar assortment of meats (meat alone was $33)... they got some sides and drinks. I'd probably say the total was around $100??? Granted, our meals fed 4 adults and 3 kids. We all had our fill. It was so good. We didn't even use BBQ sauce bc the meat was good on it's own. Atmosphere was very unique. Old random stuff filled the walls. Lots to look at. We'd definitely return!"
"We eat here every time we're in Safford. Good, large drinks, decent steak, lots of menu variety. Local patrons are friendly - and had us join them for dinner!I took off a star as most of the steaks were overcooked on this visit."
"Decided to do a last-minute breakfast for Valentine's Day came in. They're open till 11pm They open at 7:00am and I have a catered breakfast that I'm picking up tomorrow for 15 people. Super yummy food very inexpensive came out to about. $18.00 a person but I ordered a ton of food. So grateful for their breakfast catering !"
"This is awesome! Delicious BBQ and outstanding service. Everything on the menu is home made and tastes great! Fire place was also a nice touch since it's a little chilly!"

If I had just bought the pulled pork meat sandwich without the sides it would be a five star excellent job on the meat. coleslaw I felt needed some work potato salad was lacking a little. but it could be my taste buds but service was great when I called in earlier instructions of how to get to the menu and their prices was handled excellent I feel bad about giving a four-star but I want to be fair when it comes to food and how i judge other restaurants on their food and services as well so I did the same in this regard i definitely be back tomorrow and try something new what I'm waiting on is the beef ribs.

I visited them at Buddy's Beer Barn food court. They had a very impressive set-up with a larger mobile serving trailer all clean and shiny,... reminded me of coming down the stairs on Christmas Day and finding a bright red fire truck under the Christmas tree! My eyes got really big as I walked up to Smokin' Joe's like I was captured in a StarTreck tractor beam, passing all other food trailers and powerless to resists. Joe's specialty is Pitt BBQ and next to the mobile serving trailer was an amazing cooking station of several interconnected steel smoking grill pitts. Hard to describe but looked like at least four or five egg shaped Modular's connected together like living pods on the Arctic circle except they were BBQ smokers. I ordered the "pulled pork sandwich" and it was exquisite! I rarely order pulled pork but in this case Smokin' Joe's made me a fan again. This was a Five Star experience on a cold January night that my Wifey dragged me out of the warm confines of my house to check out the food court off of Montana & Lorne Rd. I ordered another Pulled Pork Sandwich to go and found Smokin' Joe's on his "YouTube" channel. They deserve a brick and mortar restaurant but until then I'll track them down like a hungry wolf

Stopped by to get one Jalapeño Popper and a drink today. After I paid they came and showed them to me because they looked a little ruff and asked me if that was ok and told me they would give me a few (which they did)! They also asked if I would like a cobbler! They were very apologetic the whole time and I feel like they went above and beyond with excellent customer service!! Loved this place for years and will continue coming!

"The award-winning beef brisket was amazing. The side of beans yummy! Green beans good too. Wish I could have tried the slaw but they were out. My partner's pulled pork was good but a bit salty. Beautiful building with a nice vibe. Spotless restrooms. Excellent fast service. Would definitely stop if passing through El Paso again!"
"This place is absolutely amazing! Chef inspired and unique styles of condiments and such. For instance the BBQ is one of a kind and very good! (I'm picky about BBQ sauce too.) The typical BBQ meats are top notch! Another cool side note about half acre is they aren't just a restaurant. They own the ranch where beef is raised, a meat market where you can buy their raw beef, and a restaurant that cooks and prepares it for you. Reasonably priced and has indoor and outdoor seating and even an outdoor area for the kids. Don't forget to try the banana pudding!!!"
"The pictures doesn't do justice. The Dino Beef Rib is a must, but be warned, they sell quick. Tender, juicy, and flavorful with awesome sauces made in house. One was enough to fill. 100% will be back for more."
"So this was way better than anticipated! We were a large celebratory party and they had the staff to take care of us even though the place was packed. The food was so good! My friend had the steak salad- I never imagined that it would be so full and look so good- that is what I am getting next! I had the burger and it hit the spot. There is enough variety so that there is something to definitely make your mouth happy!"
"We had to choose from 5 locations and we picked this place and it didn't disappoint us. The BBQ sauce is just right to the taste. Not too strong but full of flavor. We will definitely come back again. Thank you Smokey's BBQ for having us. More power to your business. God Bless you guys and God Bless all of us"
"Want to eat the best Texas-style BBQ you've ever had? Better than the famous joints in Texas? Come here. Eat enormous portions of perfectly smoked meat. Eat scrumptious beer battered fries and the best cole slaw I've ever put in my face. Service was friendly and quick. Not a single bite was disappointing. The converted train car was an unusual and lovely setting. I don't come through this part of the country often, but we'll be back. We'll plan trips to get to town when we're hungry, too!"
"Pros: 1) Brisket was good; 2) can make bake potato on the side if ask; 3) good portions Cons: 1) didn't like the Cole slow, too sweet and didn't taste fresh; 2) taking cash only."
"Take out or catering for a big party and this place is a winner. Don't know what to bring for a pot luck. Go here.I have never been here or had a desire to come here until a friend of ours brought potato salad from here to a pot luck at our house. It was so yummy we had to go try more.Dine in is a mediocre experience. It is an order up counter with no service. We got tea that was warm with very little ice. But the sandwich we had was yummy and of course the potato salad is amazing. As we sat we noticed a ton of cars coming through drive through picking up what they had order for that night's dinner. Then I realized why this place always looks empty and yet it still is open. Because a lot of people order and bring it home. The BBQ sauce is good. Brisket is really good. The price is very reasonable. Great local spot. That is not a franchise."
"Good food and service. I really enjoy the sliced brisket, turkey, and ribs. They also have stubborn sofa which I personally love. It is bbq so expect to pay 20-25 dollars including tip but it's a good place to treat myself."
"Wow!!!! A gem here in Anthony-a must visit. We tried everything (well nearly) so amazing. The Dino beef rub fell off the bone. I've never seen a beef rib so big and never tasted anything so extraordinary. The Mac and cheese was over the top and my three meat choice-pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs -every meat was smoked to perfection. The bbq sauce is spot on and even the sweet tea is fantastic! And the place is super clean and the service was outstanding. They even have a house cat outside. IAll I can say is my husband just said this possibly might be the best BBQ place we've ever been to. Well done you all we will be back!!!!"
"Old fashioned, slow smoked, dry rubbed, amazing BBQ. Every bite is filled with flavors of the Southwest. Don't miss the picture-worthy nachos, and the most amazing Concha Bread Pudding."
"Off The Grill was voted the best food truck in the border in 2013 and is quite popular around El Paso. I thought the food was pretty good, but you have to have the right expectations. I think that OTG is a pretty good food truck that serves BBQ-based items and I'm not rating it compared to sit-down BBQ restaurants; you shouldn't expect it to be an alternative to places like State Line or Famous Dave's.Their menu is pretty straightforward, mostly sandwiches or tacos made with one or more of their BBQ meats, but their most popular item, and the one they recommend, is the Pulled Pork Cheese Fries, they had me at "Pulled." I really liked them, the fries golden soft (which I prefer), not crispy fried and they are pretty decent size, none of that thin fry crap, they have lots of cheese and mixed with the BBQ sauce it makes for a nice tangy flavor.Because I have no self-control, I also ordered the sausage bites, which I found out is their second most popular item. It's a plate of sliced sausage drenched in BBQ sauce, which for the record I did share with another person. We weren't blown away by them, but they were okay, I'm just really picky about the sausages I put in my mouth. I would definitely recommend getting the fries over the bites if you are a normal person that only orders one thing. I do have to mention that the OTG folks were very friendly and personable, though there was a line I didn't feel rushed when it was my time to order, which is not uncommon at food trucks and stands. They were even nice enough to pose my food on the counter while I took photos of it, because I'm that kind of person. I found them at the Chamizal Memorial Park, check their facebook page to find their current location."
"Another Texas BBQ I discovered, this time in the Permian Basin about 80 miles Southwest of Midland and three hours East of El Paso. Super nice people running the place. They close when they sell out and that is pretty much daily. I woukd suggest coming as soon as they open.Brisket and Big Red-One of my favorite meals! Same is true here. Green beans and some grits on the side please. You know it's Texas BBQ, not just by the big red, but also by the slice of wonder bread.Pulled Pork was good and so was the smoked Turkey. Somehow, I gotta have collard greens..just my preference. They were out of the Pecos Spud so I didn't have a chance to try that.Price is good and customer service is Great! Parking is super easy. The hours can be tricky and you need to plan for this. Good luck coming in for dinner Rang the Bell as I walked out!"
"Mmmm! Tasty. We ordered the three sampler meat, with brisket, beef ribs and St. Louis ribs. Potato salad, collard greens and corn bread. The St. Louis was our favorite, hands down. All of the meat was full of flavor and the sauce was thick and flavorful. Potato salad was a nice surprise. It was a mayo base, and that made my tastebuds super happy. Calling to place the order was easy, they had my order hot and ready as I walked in. Location was easy to find. My only negative was that our corn bread was so dried out that had to crunch a butter knife through it to break it in half. Even then, with the real butter they had, it was tasty. Would definitely return."
"The food truck is immediately to your left after entering an RV lot. The brisket was awesome. The owner was super nice. Great place to go after visiting the caverns or hiking in Guadeloupe. Serving size was huge."
"First impression on the service was not awesome. Arrived right at opening on a quiet Sunday morning. I stood there in front of the hostess for more than 5 minutes before she acknowledged my presence. My order was simple, but I requested point brisket instead of flat. She told me "you get the cut that you get". They won't accompany this request. This really rubbed me wrong. What bbq joint won't let you specifically have point if you request it?The food: the brisket was delicious. Absolutely excellent fat rendering and flavor. They did bring me only point meat which was appreciated. The sausage was very good but not really stand-out. The pork ribs had an excellent flavored and textured bark, but unfortunately were way undercooked. I'm not a "fall off the bone" guy at all, but these were still densely stuck to the bone (see my pic). I do think ribs should retain enough structure to see a bite mark, but the bone should not still be adherent to the meat like this. Too bad bc the flavor was delicious.I highly recommend the side dishes. The green chili cheese rice was delicious and the macaroni was also awesome. The cornbread was very good. Zero complaints about side dishes. Overall, I would give this place for stars for the reasons above. It was certainly three star service, and pork ribs (maybe I just got an undercooked sample). 5 stars for the brisket and sides. 4 stars for the sausage."
"The brisket, in-house made sausage, pork pozole were all delicious. With great customer service and the exact environment for BBQ, I hope to come through again one day."
"He has the best BBQ tender brisket, coleslaw gives it a different flavor. I highly recommend this place."
"Customer service is 10/10We got the pulled pork sandwhich, pork ribs, rice, beef empanada and Mac and cheese (we like the spice). It was all delicious!!! The barbecue sauces were tasty we loved all of them, applewood was our favorite. We got a sample of the turkey and it was the juiciest The beef empanada and the sauce are perfect together we can't wait to come back and try the brisket empanada! We only got a picture of the empanada!"
"The food is awesome the staff is great and it's worth going back to I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys barbecue are fried catfish"
"I wish I knew what they use as the rib rub, it's fantastic. So good that I had it catered for the guys on my job site. Everybody was impressed. Their unique coleslaw, and green chili mac & cheese or above board."
"Good dinner plates. We had the ribs and sliced brisket With beans, potato salad, coleslaw, corn and cornbread.Make sure and get there early before they are sold out of product."
"Loved the brisket Mac and cheese! The ambiance was nice . Loved the tailgate seating inside business and very clean. The item that stands out is their Mac & Cheese. The brisket is ok but the Mac and Cheese made it pop and took it to another level."
