"Went here to get groceries and was pleasantly surprised. Clean and spacious restaurant. A little hot but they have a huge fan to accommodate there customers. The sushi was good and the tempura was excellent. The waitress Maria was very nice so I don't know why it had 3 stars? We came on Sunday and there's was only maybe three other tables so that might have made me score this place higher but either way I recommend this place."

"Came here for lunch with my family on Father's Day. It's more of an Asian fusion restaurant serving some Thai and Chinese dishes. It's far from San Diego's cuisine that's for sure!My expectations weren't too high after reading the reviews, but I've been craving Thai and wanted to see for myself. I ordered Pad Thai shrimp and surprisingly it wasn't too bad. Not well enough to cause me to return though. My kids ordered orange chicken dishes and a chicken nugget + fries dish. The kids raves about the orange chicken. They're also big Panda Express fans. The chicken nuggets were comparable to McDonalds and the fries were meh. Hubby ordered chicken fried rice and didn't like it at all. My daughter tried a peach boba drink and liked it. I really wanted to try one of their limeades they had on the menu, but apparently they don't serve limeade. Darn. That really sounded refreshing. We won't be back, but glad we tried it any way."

"Overpriced?A teriyaki chicken plate with veggies is $4.50. That said, that and egg rolls are the only thing I've ever had at Mix Express. Further, I've only had take out from ME so I can't speak to it's ambiance. I can say the food is quick and delicious and is just what it says it is.Y'all are crazy."

"This is a popular local dive for seniors. The place can get busy during the first two hours of breakfast on any day. Food is good and service is friendly. I've had breakfast and lunch here in the past.Today (Saturday) was my first time back since the covid pandemic and I had a taste for a thai dish: curry chicken. I came in during an early lunch, grabbed the only two-seater table in the corner with a view of the counter, and ordered my meal with raspberry tea.The dish was filling, with lots of chicken and big pieces of chopped scallions. I actually ate the entire thing in one seating! I also ordered a pot roast dinner for my husband who stayed at home, which came with the veggie of the day (today it was corn) and garlic bread. There was no surcharge for to-go orders.I'm glad this place survived the pandemic shutdown in March. The two servers from before the shutdown are back. "We're coming back" said my server. "The community has been good to us!" he added. The only difference now is that to pass the covid rule of social distancing, the owners have pushed four tables together, limiting how many groups can come in at once. The tables are rather ugly, with enlarged placemats with local advertisers covering the top, but I don't come into a restaurant to review tabletops. My one complaint is that the owners seriously need to replace the ceiling tiles. Many are stained or cracked and the filters need cleaning. Several tiles right above my seat needed cleaning and/or replacing."

"There are only few Korean restaurants in the area and this has to be the best one. We had spicy beef soup and squid stir-fry. Both were amazing. Bit spicy so ask for milder if you can't take the heat. Both dishes had lots of veggies which we enjoyed very much. They also had big assortment of sides; all tasty. Service was excellent too. Will definitely return on our next trip to El Paso. Enjoy! Highly recommend!!"

"I had an incredible meal at Mi Asia in the Eat Up Market Food Hall. If you're looking for a unique blend of Asian flavors and classic staples, this is the spot.Aree, the owner, brings her Hmong heritage into the mix, offering inventive tacos and rice bowls that you won't want to miss.I tried the Pho Tacos, and they were outstanding. Priced at around $4.50 each, the meat was so tender it literally fell off the bone. The sriracha and hoisin at the bottom added the perfect kick, and they were loaded with cilantro, green onions, and jalapeño slices. Surprisingly, I was full after just one taco, although I did miss having a sprig of Thai basil and a lime wedge, which I believe should have been included.What stood out to me was how Aree used just the right amount of furikake to enhance the rice in the Squid Games Rice Bowl. Many places in El Paso seem to load up on togarashi, making it the only flavor, but Aree knows what she's doing. A little furikake goes a long way, adding a lovely nuttiness without overpowering the dish.The Squid Games Rice Bowl was equally amazing at about $14. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the bowl had a fantastic mix of textures and flavors: salty fried Spam, tangy kimchi, and a surprise--since they ran out of anchovies, they doubled up on black beans. Instead of the expected salty anchovies, the black beans brought a creamy sweetness that contrasted beautifully with the other ingredients. I tried a little while I was there, but I took the rest home for dinner--such a great value.I also can't believe I forgot to mention the taiyaki! They make them fresh from their own batter, and you can choose between s'mores or sweet black beans as a filling. If you're a UTEP or EPCC student, you get them for free when you show your ID. It's a limited-time offer, so come on by and check them out. They're really good--not too sweet, which is the highest compliment I can give.I didn't get to try the boba teas this time (I opted for Glia's Coffee from the same market), but I highly recommend Mi Asia if you're in El Paso. "My wife and I were in the mood for some pho, or at least I was and after reading some reviews on Yelp, we got this place up. We got there and were promptly seated and greeted by Salma, our server. Place wasn't crazy packed and the ambiance was nice. We started with the pork belly Spring rolls and they were delicious, fat and fresh and the peanut sauce was so good. I just added some chili sauce to the peanut sauce and it was perfect. My wife ordered the Chicken Rice Bowl and I ordered the All Meat Pho. My wife's plate arrived and it was a good sized portion and she said it was delicious. My pho arrived and it was a large bowl full of meat and the added bean sprouts, jalapeños and cilantro were just the touch needed. The broth was delicious, clean and very nice. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan on returning. Great service, great ambiance and decent prices, can't go wrong."

"If you want me to go get food with you, all you have to do is suggest K-bowl! It's a much healthier option to fast-food, with so much more flavor and heart to it. The food is amazing. You literally cannot go wrong with whatever you order. It seems to be family-owned, which is great. They are always all so nice to you when you order. They prep things in small portions which I like because you get through it fast (their lunch rush is crazy!) and you always have fresh ingredients in your food. The one thing I don't like (which is their right to have) the door bell chime every time someone opens the door is very annoying if you sit there to eat. Otherwise, it's a great spot, definitely check them out... make sure you're going during their business hours too as they close at 3PM."

"WOW! What a find late on a Tue night in a strange town. Brightly lit, very clean large room welcomed us in. Seated right away and server was there in less than a minute to get drink orders. Two servers for a half full seating and everything went very well. Received the drinks and have our order. I had the combo fried rice and pork dumplings. My Wife had an order of spring rolls and won ton soup. My Son had beef fried noodles. The fried rice was there in three minutes. Steaming hot with plenty of proteins and veg. Moist and flavorful. The kind of rice I've been looking for since my year long trip to Korea ended. Spring rolls were fried to perfection; crispy and hot. The filling was done well, moist and very fresh. These rivaled my old Thai girlfriends, and she could cook! Noodles were wok fried with nice pieces of bed and plenty ofPeppers. My dumplings were filled completely with a very good tasting pork filling, skins fries but not scorched, very very good. They took the full 15 minutes the menu says because they are made fresh.I know since I watched the cook make them behind the window into the kitchen. The true star was the won ton soup. None of us had ever tasted a broth this rich and flavorful in won ton soup. It was more like a pho broth. 8 large pork wontonsInhabited the large bowl filled with broth and aromatic greens. Hands down, the best won ton I've ever had.Better than that in Shanghai or Beijing. You will love this place."

"The place was dirty and still had decorations from the owners personal party for family which our server had mentioned to us. The bathroom was dirty which is always almost a tell tale sign of the kitchen itself. The tops of the condiments on the tables were destroyed and dirty like they haven't disinfected them in a while. We had ordered a sampling platter consisting of fried egg rolls , fries (weird?), and wings. The egg rolls were good which was standard to expectation but the fries were obviously out of a frozen bag. I had ordered sesame "chicken", my mother ordered orange "chicken" and my sister had ordered shrimp lo mein. The sides of rice were tasty and the portions were huge which we were surprised by on behalf of the price (which was insanely too good to be true). A few bites into the "chicken" we noticed there wasn't any actual meat. The problem wasn't that there was too much /breading/ but quite literally, they had served us fried bread in sauce. I'm not kidding I wish I took pictures. We had torn open the pieces to see if all of them were like that and I wish I was lying but there were maybe only 4 pieces of ACTUAL chicken out of the whole entree. We considered not paying and leaving as we didn't even make a dent in our plates but decided against it and paid anyways. Won't be there again. I personally believe it won't last which sucks as it was a place we had been waiting to try."

You can choose l your order as its cooked over the grill in front of you, sushi, eggrolls, or another selection on the menu. The food is very healthy as well.Make sure you come with an appetite since it can be a lot of food for one person. Then the chefs are very good as they spend time practicing their cooking skills. It is always a good show. You may have to make reservations since the restaurant is packed."
