"Considering the price of these apartments- my husband and I pay about $680 for our one bedroom 505 sq ft apartments with utilities- we could definitely size up and pay around the same and get a bigger space. The apartments are poorly maintained. Everything is painted over- the sink & the cracked tub. I'm sure we'll be charged for that when we move out. I can hear my tiny skinny neighbor upstairs walking and on the phone and plying with her dog. To the point where her steps wake us up in the morning. The floors/ ceilings are just poorly made. You have to call the front desk 10 times before they stop sending you to voicemail and actually answer. It hasn't been terrible living here but we definitely won't be staying. Not to mention they want to increase our rent by $120 if we choose to stay- quite the motivator to pack up and get outta here!"
"Great QUIET apartment community to live in. Amazing staff & PROMPT residential service in regards to everything. Follows up on work orders & very accommodating. Reasonable pricing as well. Great job staff!"
"I'm moving from California to El Paso, and these apartments were just right for me. Affordable and cozy I love their colors and hospitality. A great environment with lots of out door space for the kids. It's also right off the freeway so accessibility is big for me. I flew out from CA-TX for a couple days and to find something to my liking was the greatest feeling ever. The application process was short within the next day I was able to fly back home secure with a place to call home when I return back at the end of the month. I can't wait to see what El Paso has in store for me. Thank you North Loop Apartment for my new home! You guys made it happen! Special thanks to Andy for helping me through picking out my apt and showing me the ins and outs."
"I'm writing this review after having lived here for 16 days. The place itself is new and polished. The kitchen is beautiful with the stainless steel appliances and marble counter-tops, thick carpets. I can't really hear my neighbors talk but I can definitely hear the sliding closet doors bang against the end of the sliding track. No problems as of maintenance as this place is new. Crickets do come in (I'm on the second floor) but that's probably more of an El Paso thing since it's so hot outside. The staff has been very helpful and professional but my interaction has been rather limited so I can't comment fairly besides that. My rent balances/payments/deposits have been accurately displayed so no complaints there. The gym is pretty decent for an apartment one. The clubhouse is super nice and clean. They have Starbucks ground coffee and tea if you're too cheap to own a Keurig. Laundry room is located behind the gym and has about 4 washing machines and 6 dryers; they take CCs or coins. If my experience continues to be this positive, and I haven't been fired from work, then I'd definitely renew my lease."
"I really dislike these apartments. I am not a needy tenant and tend to mind my own business and hardly contact the staff. When you do need something though, they are real bothered. Maintenance is great, very friendly and get things done quickly but other than that... My neighbors smoke all day and night and my guest bathroom smells horrible. I've complained so many times and nothing has been done. I asked for a carport for so long and it was sitting there empty... they didn't give it to me until a moving truck basically destroyed my new car in a regular parking spot. They never answer the phone. Never. And the pool, good luck with that ever being open and if it is, it's freezing all the time and kids run around like crazy and there's no order. I'm very happy to be moving out."
"Would not recommend to anyone. They are old a busted not to mention they ignore your work order calls and over charge you for no reason... the office guy is never there. Don't move in save your money and stay at the trio apartments down the street."
"If you are considering these apartments please consider what kind of people live here. I come here very often almost every other day to visit my boyfriend. Once I parked and when I came back out I found an obscene note saying to never park in that spot with a deep, 8 foot scratch from the hood of my car to the right side door. The damages ran me $1,400. This was at building 4 in space D24. They own a white Ford Focus with NM plates, so definitely avoid them at all costs. I brought this to management and they were not helpful whatsoever. When I requested video of the lot to the manager, Rocio, said she did not know how to access it. When I filed the police report, a detective came and requested the same. Rocio told him she did not see anything on video and was quite dismissive to the detective. In all honesty I don't think she even knew how or tried to access the cameras. It seems to me that they don't want to get the resident in issues. So if you like to get your car keyed for parking this is the place for you.On another note the hallways are so dirty and the entrances are filled with pigeon poop. Recently, a wild animal killed a pigeon and left it in the middle of the hallway with blood and feathers everywhere. My boyfriend complained multiple times to the office and it took them nearly a MONTH to clean it. It was very nasty. There is still pigeon poop everywhere even until now. There are lots of nice apartment options nearby with good management, nice neighbors, and clean hallways. So consider this before you sign a lease with this complex."
"A great apartment complex. I always feel safe exercising around the neighborhood. The front desk is always very helpful as well. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to live!"
"I usually give bad reviews. But the venue does not deserve one. I've lived here 6 months and the staff have been great. Robbie has always been super professional and helpful. Anything nice in El Paso is automatically given bad reviews by cheap people. This includes restaurants. The venue is in walking distance to world class restaurants a cafe and soon an Alamo Draft House. Rent is sensibly priced and was essentially on par with anything on the east side that was respectable. The atmosphere is not studenty but rather a young professional to establish crowd."
"Not to be confused with the Sarah below, I too live at Sun Hollow and have had a very different experience. I moved into the complex after moving to El Paso from San Antonio and have been really pleased with the maintenance service and the office staff. As a matter of fact, I was contacted by Paola (the office manager) in regards to the review below so she could address and correct any issues that I may be having. I think that speaks a lot to their customer service and willingness to address any tenant's issues and I appreciate her reaching out.I look forward to the rest of my time at Sun Hollow and hope that it will be my home for a very long time."
"Super nice place I have a 1 bedroom and I have no issues. Sometimes it gets loud but not ridiculous but hey it's apartment living. The manager always takes the time to listen and help out. Don't listen to this review below she is simple crying. You get a great deal and great living. I've lived in many places and hands down move in was smooth and the apartments are clean no bugs. You get free basic cable your electricity and water is included in your rent which means you continue to just pay the same every month. Super pet friendly. My cat loves looking out over the top floor into El Paso area. Laundry area is well maintain best I've ever seen. Nice pool for those hot summer days."
"Looking for an apartment on the Westside? Considering Puerta Villa at Cimarron? Just do it!I've come to understand that apartments, lofts, condos, and houses will always be transparent. If you can find something you don't like about a potential living space...there will be more. And how many things you can find that you don't like will have a direct correlation to your property manager and/or landlord's attitude.A summary of my first four apartments:#1 It's bigger than I thought. The appliances are older than Betty White and the trail of ants that bypass the ramen in my kitchen to crawl through a crack in the ceiling tells me a hoarder lives upstairs. But it's not bad, I can get used to it (Moved after 6 month lease was up).#2 A studio apartment. It's only $50 cheaper than my last apartment. But there's a tennis court!#3 Cinder.block.walls.#4 Read my review on the Spring Park Apartments. And finally, I made the decision to just pay more (but after getting an awesome deal, actually ended up being almost the same as what I was paying at SPA). How do you know when you've paid more to the right people? They offer you water and coffee and hot chocolate and little sweets that are in a bowl on their desk. And you don't walk to the apartments, they drive you in a golf cart. And they smile a lot. There's quite a few different floorplans available at PVC. The townhouses are huge, but in reality all of the floorplans are spacious. As a female, the first thing I beeline for is the closets. Diamonds aren't a girl's best friend, walk-in closets are. The walk-in closets are as Jackie Chan would say "Dope!" (okay, maybe I'm taking that out of context from Rush Hour 3, but you get the point). And the next thing I look at is the kitchen...appliances are new, new, new. Microwave included. And lastly, but possibly most importantly, the cooling system. When I ask about a cooling system and I get a long explanation about why they still have swamp coolers, I put on my Daymond John glasses (last celebrity, I promise) and say, "I may not know a lot about swamp coolers, but what I do know is they don't work and for that reason, I'm OUT." And with a newer complex like PVC, yes, they have refrigerated air! 3 for 3!Pet policy is awesome. As of today, there are no weight restrictions so there was no twisting of the arms to get the complex to accept my 50ish pound pup.And the amenities. Amenities for dayssss. The pool is heated. There's cabana like structures throughout the complex. 24-hour gym. Office opened everyday (or at least ever day I need it to to be). Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate in the clubhouse. Free wi-fi in the clubhouse, gym, and near the pool. TV in the clubhouse. Pet stations (you know where you can get poop bags and throw them away). Lots of grass and beautiful landscaping. A 2-mile walking/running trail right outside the gates. Oh ya, it's gated. There's a well maintained laundry room on site. Grills throughout, that the complex cleans weekly. Garages and carports available. Oh and the people who live and work here are ridiculously friendly.Yes, I love this complex and the management company. They handle everything quickly and are extremely accommodating. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are even slightly considering moving to the Westside, go to PVC first!"

After I moved out they charged me for things that was not even an issue. They charged me $25 for the cabinets, $50 for the carpet, keep in mind that there was a big flood in my apartment and damage the carpet. I disconnected the light on May 30th and returned the key on May 31st and they charged me 2 full days for the electricity. They just charge you for every little thing. I called and spoke with one of the girls at the front, I asked her why she was charging me $25 for the cabinets, she looked at the pictures and she said " I don't see anything wrong with these cabinets, you should have not been charged for this" like seriously??? Why didn't they see that before ?? My bed got damaged because of the flood in my room, they didn't come in time to fix in time. Just horrible experience with them. Oh and they are very expensive too, comparing to other apartments in the area.

I moved in with my fiancé in January. In the first week that I stayed here, my fiancé and I were at work when maintenance came and left the back and front doors open. When we went to the office, they were rude and couldn't help us figure out what happened. Then we had a water leak in the kitchen ceiling and all they did was paint over it. Later, the tub in the second room got clogged, even though we don't use it, and water kept coming out of the drain. They took forever to come and fix it, despite us putting in multiple work orders. Two to three months ago, I was getting ready for work when maintenance came into the room unannounced while I was changing. They said that they had sent a message letting us know they were coming, but we never received a message or a text from them. When I talked to the lady at the front desk, she was rude and said that she had sent a message but couldn't send it again because the internet was down. They said that the apartment next door had a leak and they had to remove our vanity and make a hole in the bathroom. They warned that if we didn't let maintenance come in, we would be the ones paying for the damage. I was upset because they came unannounced, not because we didn't want them to fix the leak. However, they removed our vanity and made a hole in the bathroom, and we put in work orders back to back, but they never came to fix it. Now we have two holes in our main bedroom, and there's water and mold everywhere in both bathrooms and closets. They said they were coming this week to fix it, but no one came. And now the kitchen sink is also messed up, and water barely comes out from the faucet. When we mentioned that we would like to move out or transfer apartments, they said we had to pay an extra fee to transfer to another unit, and if we wanted to move out, we had to pay.

I've been living here 3.5 months now and it's still very nice. Quiet and friendly neighbors. My only complaint is that the drawers in the kitchen are incredibly small (I live in the 800sq foot single bedroom unit). Management remains exemplary.

Terrible place to even apply to. They will take 5 days to process an application. They are rude and entitled. Fair warning: stay away.

Worst MGT team ever!!! They lied to my face about my unpaid rent balance due to Covid-19. I was told that I could make payments once I'm back on my feet by ROCIA & Arnold. Not only was I forced out of my apartment due to COVID-19, they also reported it to my credit report after I was told they will never do that to me. I lived there for over 3 years with perfect paid attendance until COVID-19 happened and I lost my job. I don't expect to stay no where for free and wasn't asking to stay for free. All I asked was that they do not report anything to my credit because I will pay the balance. It's sad, Bc I waived 6 events for them @ $475 per event, which valued at $2850. I took a parking space for $25-$50 a month. Also, recommended over 4 people to move there which they all did. Also played at their sister company for FREE to help out because I was told coming into these apartments We weren't a community, we are a family. Right!!!

Don't let these 3 crappy reviews deter you. This is a great area to live in, management has been great to deal with from the get go, and the apartments themselves are nice and up to date. Would definitely recommend anyone considering living here but apprehensive because the reviews to just stop by and take a look.

"Worst apartment complex in town! Whatever you do stay away from this blight like the plague, the apartments are old and grossly unkempt, the maintenance crew is lazy and complains when they have to even try and repair anything (most is half a$$ to nothing!) and management is rude and plain un responsive. Also the pools or lack there of are festering holes that breed mosquitoes at the bottom of muck filled rainwater puddles. Stay away!"
"To begin this review, I do want to recognize the friendliness of the staff. The apartment is spacious, but my 2 stars is reflective of the following:1. Location - Although this apartment is located minutes away from NMSU and BCOM it is right off of the highway near several hotels. With that being said, I have seen some questionable people who do not reside in the Flats walking around the complex and outside my apartment building. It makes me question the security. 2. Price - After moving in and learning more about Las Cruces, I found more affordable areas to live in. I paid $650 for the master bedroom in a 2-room apartment, but you can find nicer locations and pay about $780 for a single room apartment. 3. They don't pro-rate. I moved into my apartment on the 15th of the month and I was force to pay the full $650. 4. If you are a medical student who is still waiting for responses from other schools don't rush into signing a lease with the Flats. Because if you get in else where, and although you didn't move into their apartments, the Flats will make it hard for you to break your lease. They will most likely say you can't get out of the lease unless you find someone else to take it over."
"I will try to be short with my review because i know that it is really takes to much energy and time to find a good apartment with reasonable price. I moved to Timberwolf Apartments a year ago base on location about 10-15 min you get ether main post or East Bliss. Very convenient, safe location, very close to everything, which include an Airport and Costco. It is very quiet place no issues such a breaking, stilling or vandalizing a cars, even I never close my apartment windows when I go somewhere. Also they provides military discount and they dont have extra allocated bills. The Management is running this place very professionally and very kind people also. I am PCS'ing again next month so good luck everyone and do not listen some crazy people who always complain about everything around them. This is great Apartment complex and would like to thank the complex Management for great job they doing to keep it clean and nice."
"I moved here from NYC in 2019 and right at the cusp of COVID-19. For being in the middle of a pandemic, I think the property and it's management team have done a phenomenal job with what they had to work with. Currently, they are having maintenance done around the property and that is great! Looking forward to going to the pool this summer. They drained the pools and hot tub and hoping to use it this time around. We do have parking issues with other residents but over all, it's a nice place to live."
"I needed a temporary apartment (3-4 months) while my new home is being built. My former townhouse sold much quicker than anticipated (a good problem to have) but I had to find some where to live. Caprock Apartments were recommended to me as being reasonably priced for the situation; many month-to-month leases are asking between 1500 and 1700/month on the West Side. The staff here is very friendly and the manager is super accommodating- this made a very stressful situation very easy for me, which I appreciate. They allow pets (within limits). They have two laundry facilities open 24/7, and one of them has machines that take debit/credit cards so you don't have to show up with a tote bag full of change. They also have a pool, fitness center, racquet ball court and sand volleyball. They are remodeling parts of the apartments and mine came with nice new tile in the master bath, nice modern ceiling fans and a newly installed beautiful wood floor in the living room. The kitchen does need some updating but the appliances are great. The main traffic areas and the bathrooms are nice ceramic tile and the bedrooms are carpeted; the closets are very large. The walking paths are well lit all night and the grass is maintained beautifully- my dog loves it! Considering this is a nice sized apartment complex, it is pretty quiet and my neighbors upstairs and next door are pleasant, friendly and private- just the way I love it!The location is wonderful."
"After living here for about 3 years I thought I would write a review to show much much I appreciate the staff that make living here so enjoyable. During this pandemic and really since we moved in, the staff have gone above and beyond to meet any requests in a safe and respectful way. We loved our apartment! There are great views, it is in a great location, and overall it was really quiet."
"Loved living here. Maintenance: Nearly always on the premises. I would put a work request in the front office on my way to work and it would be fixed before I returned home that day. Management: Never had a single issue with management. Communications were clear about things that were going on in the complex, and it was apparent that management actually cared. The only thing that would have made living there more convenient would be online rent pay. I hate dealing with checks. Property: Management was constantly trying to improve the property. I lived there for a year and a half, and during that time they installed solar panels, re-paved and re-painted the driveways, and installed a really nice shaded area at the pool with gas grills that were free to use. The pool wasn't used very frequently, so the noise was never an issue. The complex was fairly quiet in general- the average age of tenants appeared to be over 30, so that helped. Units: I never went in a different unit other than the one that I rented, so I can't speak for the entire complex. That said, my unit was really nice. The carpet could have used some updating- it was nearing it's last leg. The appliances were all in great condition, and the included washer and dryer were nice. The "free" internet was unusable (5mbps, really?), however they were switching providers when I moved out. I just paid for my own internet while I lived there. Never had insect issues, except for some harmless tiny ground beetles that came in during heavy rainstorms (and management had crews spraying the building as soon as that started).I moved out of LC, otherwise I would probably still live here. For the price, it is hard to find another complex that is as nice (and has a washer/dryer)."
"Lived at Coronado for a year. Great apartment and very safe neighborhood. Awesome dog park and track onsite.Maintenance was responsive to any issues."
"I lived at Las Norias very briefly when I first moved to El Paso. Initially, everything seemed fine. Rocio (the manager) and Lorenzo (the maintenance employee) were both warm and welcoming. However, I believe I got very unlucky with one of my neighbors who lived in the unit right behind me. He kept bumping up his music (which completely made my walls vibrate, especially the walls in the kitchen), and forced me to listen to it, especially into the evening when the leasing office had already closed. At first, I tried to let it ride. But because I didn't get any peace and quiet when I was at my apartment in the evenings, I finally had to bring it to Rocio's attention. She tried to talk to him to respect his neighbors around him. But he still didn't listen. So I had to file a complaint again. Subsequently, she notified the courtesy officer who lives on-site at the complex. Then she instructed me that, if my neighbor continued to be disrespectful with his loud music, that I can call the main apartment leasing phone number, and choose option #4 to speak to the courtesy officer. It seemed to work when she warned my neighbor again to tone down and lower his music volume, more than likely because he was aware that the courtesy officer would come knocking on his door if I complained directly to him. But much to my dismay, I had to tolerate my neighbor's disrespect for almost 4 months before it was truly resolved. I couldn't really get enough rest and sleep, which was really critical because I worked rotating shifts at my hospital. I didn't get around to using the community pool. However, most of the families in my complex seemed to enjoy it. Other than the pool, there is a small gym and also laundry machines next to the leasing office. I was bummed that the community mailbox area didn't even have a slot for outgoing mail, which meant I always had to find a blue USPS mailbox whenever I was out and about, or I had to stop at a post office to mail out simple letters and cards. When I had to move out last month, I was bummed that there were no leasing office hours on Saturdays as the sign advertised. I found out after speaking with Rocio, and Stephanie (the new part-time leasing specialist). It was very inconvenient for me because I finished my last day of work on a Friday, and it would have been nice to wrap up and close out everything on Sat. But instead, I had to go through the hassle of getting all my stuff moved out and loaded into my POD container by the Thursday prior, then finishing my last workday on Friday, and then coming back to the complex after work that Friday to return my keys. I'm not sure if I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone because of my bad experience with my neighbor, and also because of the inconveniences. I'm sure if I had lived next door to nice families or decent professionals, my experience would have been completely different, and I might have enjoyed my living experience more. I also really think that if there are no leasing office hours on Sat, the sign and also the apartment complex website should really reflect that the leasing office is only open from Mon - Fri from 9 am - 6 pm. This is the first apartment complex I have ever lived in that did not have outgoing mail slots in the community mailbox area, and is not open on Saturdays."
"Good for single people and first time apartments. There are some maintenance requests (AC didn't work in the summer, garbage disposal and drain needed some fixing) that you may have to put in but they almost always got it fixed for me within 3 days of the request. There was a shortage in the wires one time and my electricity went out cus the circuit breaker was overheating but the management offered me a place to stay somewhere else in the complex and they were very understanding (got an electrician out there to evaluate the next day)."
"I am a Current resident at the Sundial apartment, I would recommend these apartments to all soldiers, they are soldier friendly and they will accommodate you as well, my family and I are transitioning out of the Army and the Management took great care of us, no it's not a perfect place, but what place is, the management truly cares about their residents, if you have a problem they take care of it ASAP, If you are a Soldier looking for and affordable place to live give Empire Properties a try, I recommend the Sundial apartments."
"I am stuck between A-OK and Yay-I'm a fan. What I am a fan of: the greenery and landscaping, beautiful views, and quietness of the neighborhood. The ladies in the office are very nice and understanding and most of the time helpful. There is one where you ask her about something she just looks at you. I ask if she will write a work order and she continues to just look at you. Well, when you call a week later to find out the status you find out the W/O never gets completed. Also, if there are major issues regarding maintenance they do not step in and help. It is what it is. And this is what I am tired of.I have lived here for over three years. I am a patient person and understand forgetfulness etc. But I am now done here.I have had multiple issues in my unit. I have had three floods. Two in my unit, where staff had forgotten to turn on/off water and one from the above unit. Same situation. They never replace anything just air it out. the third time this happened I was really upset and told the ladies in the office (All of this happened within 4 months). The cleaning lady came to help clean up with a broom. A broom to a flood. At one point my dishwasher stopped working well. To make a long story short they gave me the dishwasher from upstairs, then a brand new one and when that didn't work the maintenance crew told me the dishwasher isn't supposed to wash dishes but sanitize them. All this happened over a span of a year. I have a number of things to say in response. So for over a year I haven't used by dish sanitizer.I do agree with another yelper that they do need to look into repairs on the outside of the buildings that are made of wood. There is rotting and peeling and looks terrible. painting over these issues does not fix it but makes it worse. There are a number of other things that go on but lets not bore you with that. The point (Pointe) is, is that there are a lot of great things about the complex but when things really need to be fixed the maintenance staff is not knowledgeable and can really mess up. I will be moving on."
"The space you get for the price is phenomenal. You are next to 2 arterial highways and can be anywhere in El Paso within 20 minutes. The staff is professional and courteous and does a lot to make this small complex feel like a community. Only reason we left was to move into a family house. Great place to live!"
"So sad to leave. Gonna miss the view and the office gals. They really helped us out toward the end of our lease. We were waiting on a house and they were so helpful in putting together a month-to-month option for us. And most of the time I don't expect my deposit back but I guess I did a good job cleaning. Such a friendly place to live, definitely safe for kids and families and pet friendly. They always help you out if you need an extension or repair or anything. And I'll especially miss the tenant appreciation snacks they hand out some mornings in the parking lot! Blessings to all future renters!"
"I am not sure how anyone could leave a rating lower than 5. My daughter and I have lived here for over a year now and absolutely love it. It is a very quiet community. The landscape is beautiful and everyone here is very friendly. Anytime you have any issues the staff is always friendly and has your concerns taken care of immediately. We have to move out of state soon, and if I could take Copperstone with us and move it to where we are going I would do that in a heartbeat. If you are thinking about moving here I would definitely do it. I honestly don't think I could come up with anything negative to say about Copperstone apartments."
"Taylor and John have been a great asset to this complex, I do see some things have been better since they started managing and they were able to make my living situation a little better. This facility has done some upgrades to the apartment that's a nice addition, alsoManagement is very understanding on situations and will help if you call . So a little better since moving in"
"I'm honestly disappointed that they don't allow me to give zero stars. Please I beg you do not live here. These peopleARE SCAMMERS. Absolute SCAMMERS. 1. The first problem we had is that they will literally walk into your apartment without permission or even notifying you. They will come and go into your apartment as they please.2. Second problem is they will literally make up charges to add to your account. And since they have no online portal or anything to pay rent, you never know how much you're gonna owe each month. They will always change it up on you and add extrastuff they literally are SCAMMING students. 3. I was optimistic, even though this apartment complex was falling apart, had roaches, and doesn't even have AC. NEEDLESS TO SAY WHEN WE MOVED IN, IT WAS NOT IN GREAT CONDITION BUT WE LIVED THERE BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAP RENT. WELL, WHEN WE MOVED OUT, THEY PROCEEDED TO CHARGE US FOR EVERYTHING THEY COULD THINK OF TOTALING UP TO $1600. MY FRIEND IN THE NEXT BUILDING OVER LIVED ALONE AS A SINGLE MAN AND THEY CHARGED HIM $1000 ON MOVE OUT. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU ARE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AT LEAST $1000 PLUS YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT ON MOVE OUT. THEY WILL LITERALLY CHARGE YOU IF THEY HAVE TO REPAINT A WALL. I am waiting for someone to take them to court and sue them for being such crooks. I couldn't cause I didn't have the money to. I know that the rent may be cheaper than other places, but with what they charge you on move out and all the random fees you might as well just move into a different place and pay a little extra rent. It will all even out anyways. Again, I don't care what they tell you or promise you they are an awful awful place to live with a terrible person that is running it taking advantage of people. If you see a good review on here, just know they probably wrote it themselves."
"I agree with jane a....we were good with them until they changed managers...then it got crappy...their head maintaince man quit right before we moved out...told me he had had enough of them treating him like crap!!! we left the place in good condition, it did need some cleaning, but nothing out of the ordinary..did a walk through with the replacement manager before we left(on good terms) I knew there would be problems when she was hesitant on how much we might get back...we moved to phoenix and just today get a letter saying they were keeping our entire deposit for what they call "smoke damage" from the fireplace(which was gas)...we lived there for 19 months and there was no more damage then regular wear and normal living. I expected them to take some out for carpet cleaning and small amount of cleaning...NOT ALL OF IT!!! I would not recommend you live here either until they clean up their act!!! rent with caution!!!"
"At first I was excited to live here got a great vibe from the property managers. However what sealed the deal for me on not renewing my lease was the price of the apartments given they don't come with an A/C unit(place uses swamp coolers), if you don't already own your own washer/dryer your at the mercy of using there last which per load is a bit overpriced . But alas the biggest pet peeve I had was the over abundance of bird feathers in my air vents which come to find out was an issue previously that I discovered from a past tenant here. Not a bad place to live if your in college a single person(maybe) or a person who doesn't mind overpaying for an apartment. Great staff though."
"Went to check out these apartments with my gf as she is getting ready to move out of her current. When we arrived, we noticed the front of the main area is super uneven and kind a hazard because you can EASILY lose your balance! When we got inside, we spoke to a gentleman about what we were looking for. To be honest, it felt kind rushed and he wanted us in and out! Normally they'd show you around the complex and if they had any apartments ready to see but we got none of that so we decided to take off and keeping this as one of our last Options in the book for possible homes."
"Lived here for 6 months, and ended the lease early than expected. We lived on the second floor, and the building was brand new and nobody lived in the apartment yet. The buildings are poorly made, during dust storms windows shake, windows don't close all the way leaving a gap for bugs and dust. The bathroom tub did not come with a shower rod. the balcony was poorly made it shakes when you stand on it. The appliances were installed poorly they are chipped and have scratch marks. The leasing office when we applied to live there never returned our calls or emails, and it wasn't until the day before we moved in, that they answered the phone and emailed the lease to be signed. The leasing agents Adriana is always there and receptionist, they never answer emails or phone calls. When we moved in they didn't accept out email of 30 days, and moved it more days over. The people who live here are very loud, and do not pick up after their pets or supervise kids. The pool always had roaches in it, kids playing in the parking lots unsupervised at all times of days, and a girl in a red car would get into fist fights with her mom at all times of day, police would never arrive when called. Couples leaving their trash in their balcony attracting roaches. The building might look appealing for the area of El Paso, but go to the west side and avoid the building. And the leasing agents."
"Staff is friendly! Apartments look great. Can't beat the golf course views. This girl Justine is hilarious, you would be messed up if a golf ball hit you! I've lived there 8 years and never had a golf ball hit me. Staff also takes care of the broken windows if golf balls hit them. Heated pool, and fire pits. Awesome place to get away from everything. Gated community. Couldn't ask for better in Cruces."
"These are a good apartment if you are just moving out of your parents home and going to the main EPCC campus. Walls are cinder-block so that's a little off putting, but the units all have refrigerated air. Some of the community amenities are the pool (a jacuzzi that is now used at a kiddie pool...no joke), community grills (I don't advise using those), a small gym and two playgrounds for the kiddos. One thing that always got me is there really isn't much landscaping done other than rocks almost everywhere. They do allow pets for a fee, but I don't remember their weight limit. Also there is a fee to have a satellite dish, with a portion that's refundable granted you remove the dish when you move out. That was a whole fiasco for me. When I had it installed the installer placed our dish on the same mount as our neighbors so ours got thrown away when they moved (DirecTv fixed it for free after I pointed out to them it never should have been placed on someone else's mount) and then a few months before leavings my neighbor downstairs had the installers put a spliter on our dish so he wouldn't have to pay the satellite fee to the complex (he was paying for his own service just using our satellite). The apartment complex was nice enough to ask him to get his own satellite and pay the satellite fee, but after two weeks and he made no attempts to fix this they cut his wires. For what you're getting these aren't bad priced apartments, but they are a tad small. Even the larger 3 bedroom units don't actually have a dinning room, just a open area between the kitchen and living room.Management is pretty quick on fixing any issues you may have. These apartments are very accommodating for someone getting their first apartment. I can't give it a 3 star because while it is just an average apartment, it isn't that pleasing to the eye."
