"On a visit to Tombstone, my boyfriend and I stopped by Big Nose Kate's Saloon our first night in town. It was one of the places that popped up most frequently during our research for Tombstone. When we walked in, it was a large saloon with lots of photos, signs to read, and lights all around. It was really cool! We asked for a table and were seated right away.We each ordered some food and got some whiskey that was supposedly the go-to of Doc Holiday. The ambiance of the saloon alone was a lot of fun to experience while we sipped on our drinks and waited for the food. After a few minutes, everything came out. The menu is akin to a classic American diner. It was yummy and did the job after a long drive! We actually enjoyed our first time enough that we returned the next day for lunch. One of the guys at the saloon actually recognized us from the day before and greeted us very warmly. This time my boyfriend and I got to sit on the stage area which was nice to overlook the rest of the saloon. We had some food and drinks which hit the spot as before! Near the end, we asked if someone could take some photos of us by the piano. We ended up having a whole photo shoot with costumes and props! It was a lot of fun. Overall, I had a really good time at Big Kate's. The food wasn't life changing per se by the drinks, ambiance, and kind people made it an invaluable experience. Would definitely come back!"
"I visited from Illinois and had the pleasure of dining here twice--once in June and again in October 2024. This was my first experience with Belgian cuisine, and I absolutely loved it!Service: 5 out of 5On both visits, the hosts and servers were exceptional. They were incredibly attentive and very friendly. While the host wasn't particularly smiley, they were still welcoming. The servers, on the other hand, were both friendly and cheerful.Ambiance: 4.5 out of 5The restaurant's decor is unique and cozy, creating a warm atmosphere. It's clearly a popular spot, as it fills up quickly. My only suggestion would be to reduce the number of tables by 10-20% to make it easier to navigate the dining room, especially when it's busy, as it can get quite loud.Food: 5 out of 5I made it a point to try Belgian-specific dishes on both visits. During my first visit, I had a Benedict with greens on the side--something not typically found in the U.S.--and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were high quality, and the presentation was lovely. They also keep the food covered until it reaches your table, ensuring it stays hot. On my second visit, I tried the Pork Green Chiles with eggs, hash browns, and a small Belgian waffle. The food was flavorful, hot, and very fresh. The waffle, in particular, was outstanding. Despite usually preferring savory breakfasts, I now know that I'll be leaning towards the waffles or other sweet breakfast options in the future--they're simply unmatched!Special coffee drinks: 3 out of 5I ordered a double Latte's at each visit. They were about $7+ each. They were flavorful, but a little too sweet. Unfortunately, also, they didn't come to the table "HOT." If I'm paying that much for a special coffee drink, it should be top tier. I look forward to coming back, I recommend this place to anyone! Try it!"

"Affordable, great food and the staff were so friendly. I was glad to find this gem. Definitely worth it!"
"Service was slow, but it's to be expected on a Saturday afternoon as they were packed. They did forget my appetizer and served our coffee in dirty looking mugs (there was a lipstick stain on one). The French Toast was sadly lukewarm and the pulled pork breakfast tacos were meh, they've impressed me before so I don't know what changed with the quality. The biscuits from the biscuits and gravy was Dennys level, so that was disappointing too.The chilaquiles were excellent though, I definitely recommend those."
"To begin, we were warmly greeted by the hostess as we were the 1st ones in the door on Friday (May 3) and our server was a delight. We ordered the carnitas tacos, and a single burger (which was huge) and battered fries. We also had the best beans and rice to accompany the tacos. Best of all was the chile potato chowder. Oh, my gosh, so delicious. Topped with cheese and slivers of tortillas. Perfect. The entire meal was super delicious. We hope to come back again next time we are in El Paso."
"Driving through El Paso on a roadtrip and stumbled on this cute place. One of the few bbq places that are open past 3pm around downtown. Beware finding parking here is really hard as there are only about 20 spots, don't park at the Thai Tara spots. It has a cute homey unique vibe to place, sports playing on multiple TVs, and the servers were all super nice. Got the following dishes:1)full brisket platter - about 1lbs of brisket, nice amount for the price ~$20, juicy, flavor was crisp but could use some salt2) spare ribs- probably my favorite dish, could use more seasoning to it but had good amount of meat3) beef ribs- my least favorite dish, it had a very strong charcoaled flavored, the big bone itself is deceiving with little meet on itWith a couple beers all came to around $58 which was a better bang for its buck than we had at a different BBQ place in town"
"This is one of my favorite places in town. Love the atmosphere, love their service and especially love the food. Exceptional service with wait staff who WANTS to be of service. Great great food. Love the Mac and cheese and rib eye. Great specials daily! This is a great place for a birthday, anniversary or celebration of any kind. You MUST go here and visit. Can't wait to go back."
"We went into the small restaurant to eat, but it is generally crowded. I found that they have an extension Coco Miel bar in the opposite sites of the convenience store. It is more of a bar atmosphere with music and a full bar. The good baby is the same and there is so much room there! It happened to e Halloween weekend, so the waitresses and bartenders were in costume which made things fun and festive. The food was really good! We had the pizza and chicken wings along with drinks. I'll definitely try their food again!"
"Stopped in for a quick afternoon snack. Great potato skins and great service by Gina!"
"Such a great family owned business! Jordan G. Was amazing. Great service and great menu with lots of options. We were heading back to las cruces and didn't want to do any fast food so found this place on yelp and it was easy to get to- right off the highway. Will definitely be back on the next road trip!"
"Service is great right off the back, even during busy hours. I had the burger basket and it definitely did not disappoint. The burger was juicy and full of flavor while the fries were nice and crispy. You must try the green salsa on the burger and fries to fully elevate the tasty experience. 10/10 everytime and I haven't even tried the rest of the menu."
"Old El Paso staple great sandwiches and fabulous prices a must go place highly recommend"

The atmosphere here is great. We happened to come on a Thursday night which was karaoke night. So maybe I'm biased because I love karaoke. But they DID have the second best fried zucchini I've ever had so hey, good enough for me. And their ranch is amazing! The waitress was nice though she did forget my drink. I didn't get charged for it, however, so it's also still okay. I don't think I'd ever come visit Tombstone again, but if I did, I'll come back here :)

Delicious!! I would recommend this restaurant hands down. The waffles are so good they don't even need a spread but love that they have such a variety of spreads. Those are cream based. Service was excellent. Great food & service a winning combination

Angry Owl Southwest Grill serves excellent food, drinks and has a fantastic atmosphere for families and groups. Ample parking lot and upstairs Angry Owl has a private area that likely holds 20-25 people for parties/get-togethers. I had the carnitas tacos and was not disappointed. I also recommend their stuffed peppers as an appetizer.

In town for business and stopped here for a quick dinner. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and our service was also good. Unfortunately, the food was lackluster. I ordered the sampler platter and, while the meat was flavorful, it was tough, full of gristle, and very difficult to enjoy. I had potato salad and the vegetable of the day (green beans) for my sides, both were severely lacking in seasoning and had no flavor at all. The place seems to be popular so maybe they just had an off day, I'd give them another chance based on the other reviews that led us here to begin with. I will say the portion sizes for the price was a great value, especially for the brisket which my colleague seemed to enjoy and had a ton leftover.

This place is dark and cozy, yet bustling with conversations and good music. It does not have a fancy ambiance, but it feels like a neighborhood bar and grill- east coast style where everyone knows each other. It was great to see this comfortable interaction amongst the patrons. On the back wall are locked cabinets with lattice grill fronts so you can see the contents inside. Some have several bottles in them. They all had a name plate above indicating the owner of the nice libations within. Nice touch- have not seen that anywhere else in El Paso yet. This indicates to me that the place has a strong core of regulars. The waiter, Ben, was phenomenal. The food was amazing! Wednesday night they have a Prime Rib special. The meat came with a choice of baked potato or fries. I had the perfectly cooked baked potato that was soft all the way through- delicious-and they were generous with the butter. I also opted for a wedge salad and it was good. The steaks were cooked to perfection- mine was medium rare and my dining companion had theirs medium well- both steaks were cooked perfectly. They have a nice selection of signature cocktails, as well as good coffee to end the meal...with a shareable white chocolate cheesecake. I will be back. Soon!Oh we did have reservations and it is a good thing because the place is popular.

"Nice little diner at the side of the road. Service was good. I had the special three hot cakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. My husband really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Solid stop when on the area."
"Fantastic hidden-gem breakfast and coffee spot! (okay, maybe not-so hidden with the bright pink)Nessa is hard at work serving up homemade and absolutely delicious breakfast plates (and more, like pastries & quiches), and most-importantly high-quality coffee, and at affordable prices. With customer WiFi and outdoor seating, I would recommend this great cafe to do some minor work/study/reading and enjoy a unique breakfast offering in Cruces."
"4 stars for a Midland restaurant!5 stars for the view and atmosphere! It was a little humid at our table of 8 around 7pm, but they had fans on and we were right next to the Koi pond!3.5 stars for the food. I ordered the crab cakes, which were decent for Midland but shameful in a larger city. Creme brûlée was delicious! We went on a night with live music, it was WAY too loud."
"What does it say about a place you visit twice in one week? It says the food is pretty damn good! That's exactly what my wife and I thought of La Paloma. The food is THAT good!I've had some of the Mexican dishes and they're out of this world. But I'm going to throw them a curve one of these days. I was born in Canada and Fish & Chips is on the menu. It's an absolute moral imperative. The problem is getting past all the Mexican offerings. I can see many visits to La Paloma in the future. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are filling without being stuffing. Our next visit to La Paloma will be soon. Do yourself a favor and visit soon."
"I've been eating at Michael's since they first opened in their original location. Yep, I was just 6 years old! It's still a family favorite and I can't wait to bring my husband to try it this summer! The sauces are to die for! Seriously - every single one is good. We usually end up mixing them for the ideal heat. Our favorite dish is the grilled chicken sandwich. The chargrilled chicken is HEAVEN! You just can't get any better! And their salad bar has everything you could possibly want so you can even bring the vegans along with you!"
"I have been meaning to come here for some time. It has a bar vibe but has a menu that is family friendly. The service was pretty quick. We ordered the cucumbers and also the Buffalo mozzarella sticks. Both were great. I got 6 street taco style wings and the Cesar salad with brisket. The wings were cooked well but I didn't like the toppings very much. The salad was good. We finished with a fried Twinkie. I hate twinkies but this was soooo good. We also got margarita which were made very well. I will be going again. Just watch your step as the ground is uneven entering the building."
"To the point.Good foodGood $Nice staffPit stop for bike repairs, dealer recommended Dick's next door..Nice diner feel to the place, clean, busy..Desiree' recommended the rolled tacos and was spot on.. chips and salsa had nice kick..."
"The food was great quality and the service was quick. There is alot of table room so you'll be seated right away. I look forward to going back!"
"This is a popular local dive for seniors. The place can get busy during the first two hours of breakfast on any day. Food is good and service is friendly. I've had breakfast and lunch here in the past.Today (Saturday) was my first time back since the covid pandemic and I had a taste for a thai dish: curry chicken. I came in during an early lunch, grabbed the only two-seater table in the corner with a view of the counter, and ordered my meal with raspberry tea.The dish was filling, with lots of chicken and big pieces of chopped scallions. I actually ate the entire thing in one seating! I also ordered a pot roast dinner for my husband who stayed at home, which came with the veggie of the day (today it was corn) and garlic bread. There was no surcharge for to-go orders.I'm glad this place survived the pandemic shutdown in March. The two servers from before the shutdown are back. "We're coming back" said my server. "The community has been good to us!" he added. The only difference now is that to pass the covid rule of social distancing, the owners have pushed four tables together, limiting how many groups can come in at once. The tables are rather ugly, with enlarged placemats with local advertisers covering the top, but I don't come into a restaurant to review tabletops. My one complaint is that the owners seriously need to replace the ceiling tiles. Many are stained or cracked and the filters need cleaning. Several tiles right above my seat needed cleaning and/or replacing."
"Delicious food and wonderful service! Very pleased with our trip to this local bar. Been wanting to go for some time now and since we came back home, it was time to give it a try. Thumbs up to our server who did a fantastic job with keeping up with orders and actually remembering I had a sprite not a water, I am I'm not lying I probably need it anyway lol! Best thing about this place, is the sanitizer at the entrance and the online menu in your hands. I'm that type of person who is constantly on my phone, so it was nice and comforting that I could easily just get the menu that way. Thank you. Keep up the fantastic work and always wash your hands if you didn't. Totally didn't steal this from the pallet on the door."
"This place came highly recommended. We started with potstickers were delicious. The dipping sauce was great. Not too much gingerThe pomegranate tini was delicious. The mango mojito was a perfect blend of mango and mint. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The lobster tail was a good size and tenderThe hot and spicy shrimp were tasty, and HOT. The rice was a bit cool. The chicken sesame sandwich was very good but you have to eat it quickly before the bun gets too soggy. The veggies on the side of the entrees were cooked perfectly and were nice and fresh."
"I have made a review of this place several times but can't seem to find it. If you are ever in the area and searching for a great meal EJs is the spot. Great food, wonderful service and for the price it can't be beat. My favorite there of all things is the Mac and cheese it sooooo good and tasty. So If your looking for great food. Your in the right place."
"We got there at 8:15ish on a Wednesday night and they were already getting ready to close the kitchen.. I don't blame them, since it was dead and they can't be paying labor like that, but maybe don't catch late dinner on a weeknight like us. We were still able to order from the kitchen and bar, and I'm so glad we were! The food was really good. I got the patty melt and my husband got the brisket nachos. Highly recommend both! I also got a green tea shot and a watermelon jolly rancher shot, big fan. Our server Ethan did a great job, we felt bad that it wasn't a good money night for the servers because they were all so nice. My husband has been there when they were busier and he said the environment was great! Overall great place, we'll be back on a better night."
"EXCELLENT!!We've been here several times and it always hits the spot. There's a wide variety of foods offered here. My wife and kids love asian food. They usually get the Poke or Inari Bowl for their rice cravings. Both are deliciously prepared with tofu and lots of natural flavors and seasonings that give it that classic asian umami flavor. I love Mexican food so I get the nachos. The vegan nacho cheese with the other decadent sauces makes these so delectable. I usually get an acai bowl! Also very delicious. This time, since it was Tuesday, I tried the tacos. Man!!! Just look at the picture! This was a huge serving of vegan taco meat which was perfectly marinated Bursting with flavor on 4 white corn tortillas. Service was excellent as usual. The place was clean and had a great ambiance. They have so many options here. Also don't forget to get your healthy juices, detox shots, healthy one stop shop. Definite must go for good food and good health."
"Yes believe it or not these tacos are amazingly delicious !!! You gotta do your own comparison to put your mind at ease about these tacos !!!The word is out about their cheese that everyone misses. Not only are your tacos longer, but you get four in a single order. Yes four !! You also have the choice of green or red chile sauce. Or you can get it half and half. Also you have the choice of beef or chicken. Both are delicious !!!!!The Chihuahua Hot Dog and the huge Nachos are also some good choices !!! For drink specials you would have to check their daily specials or check with Shannon at the bar!!!With games such as darts, connect four, and jenga, to entertain you until the evening activities begin such as a DJ, or karaoke nights, country nights, eighties nights and the possibilities of having live music is in the works !!! So enjoy your time at The District !!!"
"This is one of those kinds of places that you come for the wings and end up getting a burger plus the wings! Everything looked amazing- I spied on all the dishes that were coming out!I was alone on this occasion and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was as expected for a wing place and was very clean and orderly. They have good specials and are great for lunch if you were shopping at the Outlets and needed to refuel!"
"Had been waiting to visit this location since opening and we seemed to have picked a perfect day to do so. We initially tried for Fathers day but the wait was just a tad over what we felt comfortable doing. Also as a recommendation to other people, this is a diner, which means it is not that large of a place and large parties will take time to be seated as the accommodations are a tad lackluster in that sense. Their food as always was as delicious as their arizona locations that we frequent throughout the year. I had their Country Fried Steak eggs benedict and as always the portions were good and hearty. The fruit was deliciously crisp and in season and honestly everything felt and tasted great. The atmosphere is one you would expect and it does feel very active throughout your meal. Please remember they do have fudge as well as other goodies you can take afterwards. This is inside the Petro station where there used to be a Skillet Diner so please don't go in expecting this to be a large establishment like its other iterations. Also shoutout to Petro for awesome amenities while traveling."
"We decided to stop by for dessert, and then changed our mind and split a margarita grilled cheese basil sandwich with tomato soup and hot coffee! It's cool outside. Actually, I'm freezing, so the coffee was perfect! Service was a bit slow, but not bad. We were in no rush. The food was pretty good. The tomato soup was warm, not hot, so I asked the waiter to microwave it! Sent it back, and got it just right! The fries were soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Not bad, tasty! Can you believe it, we ordered dessert! I had a slice of key lime pie and hubs had berry pie! They were delicious! Bring another pot of hot coffee! We rolly-pollies rolled out of there ready to burst! Most definitely recommended. 5/5"
"I can only speak to the restaurant and not the RV Park. This is a bit out of the way, but will worth the drive. This was a great little place to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I went with a group of friends the other day and we arrived just as breakfast was ending and lunch was starting. About have of us ordered breakfast and the other half ordered lunch. Those that ordered breakfast had their food come out very fast. Those of us that ordered lunch, took just a tad longer. We all enjoyed the food, it was very tasty. The service was friendly and fantastic."
"Friendly atmosphere. Very nice greeter. The restaurant is bright, clean, great music. The menu looks delicious and it's not overly complicated. Now the food... I don't know who was cooking in previous reviews but this food is BANGING! YOU HEAR ME, BANGING!!! I ordered the (4) enchilada entree. They typically let you order either chicken or beef, but they made an exception and let me order half and half. The entree came with a small bit of shredded lettuce and tomato, super flavorful beans, and excellently cooked rice. The enchiladas were perfectly seasoned. The beef and chicken were both well balanced in flavor and tender. The whole dish tasted fresh. The presentation was good even though I ordered to go. Also, their house mojito is stupid good, well balanced, perfectly muddled, refreshing, and light. I wish I could have take a swim in my glass. I'd come again . :)"
"We had such a great time here! Driving up to duets can throw you off a bit but no worries, it's there! We ended up parking at the liquor store but there are plenty of spots along the front. Right as you walk in there are two pool tables and the bar is right next to them. There is plenty of seating at the bar. You go up about two steps and this is where the rest of the tables are set up and where the karaoke stage is.There is a Mexican food truck that caters and serves their food here! We ordered two orders of the steak tacos (5 tacos per plate) with everything on top. They are topped with mozzarella cheese, cilantro, onion, and a green salsa. The tacos were DELCIOUS!! The salsa is very spicy so ask for it on the side if you don't do spicy! My husband had a few beers (Stella Artois) and they run about $6 each. There was only one bartender manning the bar so there was a wait on drinks. There are plenty of board games to entertain yourself or just sit and watch people sing their hearts out! We will be back!"
"Yesterday we just stopped by for some after dinner drinks. Then service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and gave good recommendations. The ambiance wasn't too loud for a Sunday evening crowd. We love coming here"
"Sid & Sams is a true rustic steakhouse. My boyfriend decided to come eat here for date night. There is a lot of parking it is right next to Planet Fitness and is in a large shopping area. It is kind of hidden but once we walked in, it feels like a old Texas restaurant. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. We never had to ask for refills she provided us with such great customer service, she checked on us frequently. They have a salad bar which was pretty good. They have a bar area towards the back which is nice, they had a huge party sitting in the back area. A great place for a company lunch or big gathering. The salad bar looked fresh and had lots of toppings the only thing that was missing for me was sunflower seeds. But that is just me I love them on my salad. We ordered our food which Is expensive but you are getting a larger serving compared to other steakhouses I have been to so I didn't mind. My boyfriend eats a lot like most men do and he didn't even finish all of his meal and he was stuffed. But if you are hungry they do have a cowboy steak that is a whopping 22oz!!! We ordered the onion ring appetizer and it was pretty large serving we had to take some home. And you get a fresh basket of bread which was pretty fluffy and fresh. The food offered here you can tell is cooked by chefs that really love and enjoy to cook. Where we were seated we could see the chefs and they looked focused and they had a lot of orders but they were on point. The wait staff also were busy but they kept a watch on all the tables and they kept the dining area and salad bar clean. Which is so refreshing to see, as soon as someone left the waitstaff immediately started cleaning the area. So this restaurant was very clean. My bf ordered a ribeye steak with fries and a trip to the salad bar comes with the meal. I ordered the filet mignon with creamed corn. The creamed style corn was very very good. My steak was cooked to perfection, I like my steak medium rare and the chef definitely achieved it. The desserts looked so good but we were too stuffed to even order. Overall the place was great. The food left me stuffed and the service was great. It wasn't too busy but I feel like it's because it was a Saturday night and today was pretty hot day so most people were staying in or choose one of the new more modern restaurants. I was pleased with this restaurant and would go back for sure."
