The "cons" aren't much. The course does need some love and attention, and water, and they don't try to hide it. Given that, the course still played very well. The "pros" are numerous. The price is exceptional for a wonderful layout where each hole gives you a new challenge. The greens are super fast and in winter condition but are some of the most true greens I've ever played. The clubhouse staff and bar staff were also exceptional and very welcoming.I'd definitely recommend this course. I know they are putting a lot of money and effort to get this place back to magnificent and I can't wait to play it again one day when I'm back in the El Paso area.

The golf course is beautiful but as much as they charge I expected better Costumer Service. The golf carts don't have GPS, but they are in good condition. Other than the actual course the one thing I did like most about Butterfield Trail golf course was that there are ice coolers with water bottles at every 3 holes. Spent over 4 hours at the golf course and the drink/snack cart never came by, on hole 8 there is a sign that says for you to call a number for a food/drink order. We called and the staff quickly dismissed us because they stated someone was out selling on the course. It was 98 degrees and No snack/drink cart ever came. As expensive/high-end as this golf course is this is unacceptable. I did notice the staff cared way more about the wedding preparations that were going on.

I went here on New Years eve to hit some golf balls at the range they had. It's only 14.99 for the range and you can stay as long as you want. The driving range has a small cooler bear it for water and you get to drive a golf cart out there if you want.Over all great range with multiple targets.Unsure of farthest distance but looks to be about 300+Lunch menu want that mad either

Beautiful golf course and excellent service!! The staff here make you feel like VIP! The course is a bit hard especially if you get stuck in the bunkers. They're as tall as me... lol but this one is easily my most favorite course in El Paso.

What else is there to say.... a Tom Fazio golf course for under $100! Very rare to find a desert golf experience like this for less than $200. Having lived in Scottsdale, this course compares to everyone great desert golf experience out there, and better than plenty of them.Great hole shaping and designs as Fazio added great elevation changes through the property to create great sight lines and cool bunkering. Fairways are very wide and forgiving and they have near perfect bent grass greens! He also makes you feel like the only player out there as you rarely see other holes and players making it a rare golf experience. There are no homes or developments close to the property so it's truly a peaceful, quiet and beautiful golf experience. The service is also up to par with the best resort courses out there and makes it that much more special to play there. I highly recommend this for anyone going to El Paso for a great golf experience. Wish I lived there and could play it everyday!

This review is only concerning the dining experience, not the golf course itself. I had lunch at the golf club a couple days ago with a fairly large work party. I understand that any time a waiter has a large group (and it was fairly busy in the eating area) that patience is required. But the overall experience was just meh.I ordered a water, the club sandwich with an upgrade to the garlic parmesan fries. I received a mediocre club sandwich with sweet potato fries. When I checked out I received a check for a Caesar wrap and tea. I was not the only mix up at the table. None of the different dishes at the table looked particularly good to me. All of the wraps looked crazy small. The enchiladas were uninspired and did not look appetizing to me. My club, and I get it clubs are generally boring by definition, was of weak sauce quality. Im talking Kraft cheese quality. I've been to golf clubs with pretty awesome kitchens so this one was pretty disappointing. I would not go back unless required by work.

The service at this place has gone downhill. I tried to support the business and not being my cooler into the course with snacks and drinks. We tee'd off around 8:30 and never saw the beverages cart one time and we didn't finish until 1:20. The "kitchen" was closed and wouldn't open until 11. No breakfast. No snacks. Not even a bottle of water. Tee boxes are in terrible shape. Standing water on a couple of the greens. Zero sand in the " sand traps". I will not be revisiting this facility until they make some big improvements.

Greens were awful the course is close to no fun at all! Go somewhere else even though the area is scenic with the mountains in the background.

Too expensive for the conditions. Bunkers need attention they're always hard as a rock.
