Bowlin's Old West Trading Post

We had to make a quick potty break. The bathrooms were VERY clean. I was extremely happy. It smelled clean. The shop is full of wonderful items including turquoise jewelry. We had a nice half hour break fromThe road. I definitely recommend stopping by it.

While driving from Benson, AZ to Van Horn, TX, I needed to make a pit stop. And, this place was on the way.After making use of the facilities, I walked around, and broused some. They have a lot of Native American souvenirs, as well as non-traditional items. After looking around some, settled on getting a coffee / tea mug that was handcrafted by a Native American, Bill Rabbitt. At the checkout, I asked before purchasing it, would they be able to package it really well due to my travels? Not only did they wrap it up very well, they put it in a box to boot. So kudos to them for taking care if their customers. However, some of the mugs were more modernistic vs traditional Native American memorabilia.

From this highway this looks like another tourist trap. It has a southwestern motif marathon gas station outside but when you go inside, the ambience is palpable. There's a good energy flow, a Plaza, soul at the register. Lots of native American, handmade, jewelry, dream, catchers, medicine bags, moccasins hats, and other items the coffee was fresh and hot mini snack, items, and tourist fair. A very nice energy I am vision to homeless blessing these places with their labor. Lion vision, these places, blessing the homeless with a way to take care of themselves.

Very honest and friendly! Sidney and Cory were exceptionally helpful. Their customer service was fantastic!

BEWARE!!!! Stopped by here on our road trip but will never stop by again. My boyfriend purchased a handmade Navajo wooden sculpture, which was perfectly in one piece when he brought it to the cashier. He noticed the white male cashier forcefully shove the piece into a small box, but gave the dude the benefit of the doubt. We opened the box when we got to the car just to check and shockingly found a whole part was dangling down and clearly broken. When we tried to return the item, the original cashier went missing. Another white cashier took his place and refused to return the item and only allowed for an exchange of equal value. These all white cashiers sold us, a Mexican and Asian couple, something that THEY BROKE. They don't do returns. Effing convenient! So if THEY BRAKE IT, you bought it. Do NOT buy anything from these SHADY, RACIST people!Glad I didn't purchase anything myself from them and only used their bathroom. for people is appropriate.

Awesome place to stop, rehydrate, cool off and spend some time wondering through some awesome, unique, and never see anywhere else items for yourself, for a family member or even for a friend. Worthy of a bookmark and a stop

Loved this store awhile back, and so we are gonna stop again this trip 12-7-2024.Buying grandkids stuff !

Out of all of the similar gas stations this one has super friendly people working. As soon as you come in we were greeted and told where the snacks/drinks and restrooms were located. We were offered help again while perusing. That hospitality counts these days. Thanks!!

Very good place to put gas. What I like about it they have a store inside and they have really nice stuff to buy.

Everytime I go on a road trip, this place is a must stop. They have the best t-shirt collection for any occasion. They workers are helpful if you need any help and it's so cozy indoors. The restrooms are clean if you have an emergency. The keychains shaped like cowboys hats are my favorite as well.
