Bowlin's Butterfield Station - Deming, New Mexico
Brekkie at it's best!
No difference which angle you look at it from, a fall is a fall. Fortunately, no personal injuries though likely why TWO more spokes broke!
Incredibly great stop after excellent off-the-road night at Yucca Rest Area! Soon, iCOFFEE! and nutrition.
fireworks display
Sadly, the overnight rain which forced me inside the picnic area also left metal cattle guards damp--and SLICK!
I was hungrily ready for this fabulous stop, salivating all the way!
Potatoes and ketchup can be the backbone of any fast-food meal!
1600 firecrackers
Holy shit, fireworks!
Potatoes & a little catsup...!
I was salivating from seeing this!
Damp steel is SLICK!
I will!
Rocks.

Misha & Flora was so helpful going above & beyond to help me so I could access my funds to get gas. One of the customers bought me gas which I'm so grateful and can't wait to get home and make things right. God bless you'll.

If you want fireworks or souvenirs this is a great place to stop, if you need anything else might as well not waste your time. Went in looking for 5W-30 oil for our car and they had a very small section with only two options neither what we needed. The shop is filled with fireworks and souvenirs leaving little room for snacks or anything else. Didn't go to dairy or get gas. There is another gas station right down the freeway that's much better for a pit stop

I was on a 4-day (02-05OCT2019) eBikekit-assisted CruzBike cycle of the Michael Rachelson Memorial CDT (Continental Divide Trail), and had just spent the night at the fantastic Yucca Rest Area (finally reached after a mid-day 3-hour stop to replace FOUR broke spokes at the helpful Hachita Food Mart!). That meant emergency food kept me alive/sustained until my next substantial meal--which was at this exceptionally clean stop, specifically in the Western section/Dairy Queen. I obviously didn't have a (motor)vehicle tank to refuel, but I certainly had an empty tank beneath my rib cage to fill! Manager Krystal gave me excellent directions about filling up with superb (needed!) COFFEE, then patiently assisted me as I figured out what my all-important Brekkie should consist of. And I needed all the help I could get--my eBikeKit-assisted CruzBike had "slipped out" from under me when cycling over a rain-slicked cattle guard entering this great place, which certainly has my enthusiastic "Wheel of Approval!"

This is a nice stop along I-10. The restrooms are clean and the gift shop has all the kitschy things you could ever need. Most importantly, the folks who work at the Dairy Queen are incredibly courteous. They were friendly when greeting and helping each guest, and when there were no guests, they were cleaning up the dining area. I appreciated that they suggested I eat my hot food before making my Blizzard (no one likes a melty Blizzard!).

Took a break driving east on hwy 10 in New Mexico and stopped here. What a fun place to visit. Tons of kitschy stuff. They also sold fireworks I've only heard about. It's definitely worth a stop.

Bad, The DQ really overcharged me on a burger combo with a small sunday. It came to $12.98 with no drink with the combo! I corrected the worker and said all combos should have a drink with them. The bill "came down" to $11.73 . Still overpriced. The bathrooms were very dirty too. Paper all over the floor. On their Receipt there is not the required codes for DQ Feedback or receipt code numbers. I bet they are shorting DQ on their franchise fees. A very odd receipt given out. I have contacted DQ corporate. I am sure DQ & Buffet doesn't like to be short changed either.

Atrocious!!!!! Atrocious!!!!!!! ATROCIOUS!!!!!!!We stopped here on our drive from Southern California to Las Cruces, NM. We saw the sign on the freeway and decided to get out and let our toddlers stretch their legs. Horrible mistake!!!! Seriously, I would give negative stars is I could. The filthy dining room in Dairy Queen and million flies should have been my first clue. The fact that is was just as hot inside than it was outside should have been my second clue. And the filthy restroom with no toilet seat covers (I'm talking about not having them period not even the dispensers on the wall) should have been the third clue.We waited half an hour for two blizzards. They forgot our order and they looked so disorganized. You would think that forgetting our order and being the last people after the rush would mean our blizzards would have been amazing. You think that they'd make sure to give us a good product after seeing us wait in a hot dining room with two cranky toddlers, but no. We got the worst blizzards ever.My strawberry cheesecake blizzard was runny and melts before we even got out the door. Come to think of it, he never turned it upside down the way they're supposed to. Same goes for my husbands blizzard. There were a few toppings mixed in towards the top but HARDLY ANY. Do yourself a favor and don't stop here!

This is a great place to stop if you need a break on a long road trip. It carries self-serve EXXON gasoline, as well as diesel. Inside they have a large variety of merchandise, jewelry, T-Shirts, toys, knives, Victorian Dolls, fireworks, and mementos. We really enjoyed the Dairy Queen inside on the hot 100 degree day. Sorry I know I've been in SoCal for too long as the heat got to me. It kind of threw me that you can also stay in their RV park while checking out the local sites. So, if you just need a break, some food and some stuff, this is definitely a cool place to stop.

This place used to be great, but they don't have beltbuster Dairy Queen burgers, nor any of the other actual good food from Dairy Queen! They sell the kids burgers as full burgers and charge more than other places charge for beltbusters!! Avoid this rip off Dairy Queen at all costs!! Plus the fries and food are cold!
