I went in with some jewelry on a Tuesday to ask about a redesign. I was told they could not see me today and to come back on Thursday or Friday of that week. Unfortunately, I came down with covid and could not return when they said. Today I was passing by and stopped in thinking it would be best if I made an appointment. Oh no, that is not necessary they tell me, just stop by any time with the jewelry and they will work with me. So I go with the jewelry at 4:30 today as their website says they are open till 5. Surprise they are closed! I believe this is a sign to move on to another jeweler.

If you need jewelry repaired go here. Personal old fashioned service. Your jewelry never leaves the premises. You have heirlooms and good pieces and need them taken care of without passing through a lot of fingers and mailings.Just tell them exactly what you need; have them write it down and take a copy of those instructions with you. Not that I don't trust them. I do. But I have taken nice pieces of jewelry to other places for repair and learned my lesson. If you want a stone tightened and it resized...get the instructions in writing and a timeline for return. I take a photo of what it looks like when I drop it off.I am not paranoid. I am just VERY careful about my jewelry because so much of it is heirloom items.My class ring got all bent up and had to be resized. Inside the ring is my name and I did not want to lose that. I explained all this to them. It came back perfectly sized and reshaped and my name still intact inside. I could not have been happier.I am not in the market for any jewelry so i didn't look at their inventory. But for repair or resizing. Go here.

After leaving a ring that belonged to my mother to be dismantled and the gold melted down to fix a different piece of jewelery, I returned to pickup the stones which were part of the ring. Imagine my surprise when I was told that they assumed that I had given them said stones and could no longer return them. After I was told that the manager didn't recognize me( I had been in the store 4 times in a month, the store had always been empty) I was told there was nothing they could (or would) do. Later I find out the owner was standing nearby but did nothing to fix the situation. I have since spoken to the owner several times, but each time there is an excuse why my money for melted gold cannot be refunded. Something about talking to a book keeper, not feeling well, etc. DO NOT LEAVE THEM YOUR JEWELERY! This is not standard practice for jewelery stores, they return everything, even broken clasps,etc.

Needed to get my ring re-sized. Looked into local businesses, called around for quotes, evaluated reviews and decided to give Boudreau a shot. Unfortunately, the attitude I received upon walking into the store was awful - eye rolling, glances between staff, disgusted looks. Once I told the woman at the counter what I was needing done, her words to me were "You know the company that made the ring really should be the ones resizing it." I should have left then. However, I really wanted to contribute to the pockets of a local business rather than a chain business (and reviews seemed good), so I explained myself (although I shouldn't have had to). Attitude still did not change. I was told it'd be 4 weeks (about the same if I'd sent the ring back to Brilliant Earth for resizing so I was fine with that). I called back at week 4, 5 and 6. I was told it was finally in processing at week 6. My husband went in at week 7 to at least see the ring to verify if they'd done anything. Not a single thing had been done. He took the ring back and we'll be getting the ring resized elsewhere. My advice: Don't waste your time or money on a local business that treats you like less than. Look into other small businesses around the area - this one is ran by individuals that couldn't care less about their customers. PSA: Their hours posted online are also incorrect. They open at 9am, lunch between 12-1, and leave around 1:30-2pm. In total, you have about a 4 hour window to catch them.

Must be over a decade ago I worked with Steve on selecting my inside out diamond earrings I wear daily. I called Boudreau jewelers and actually talked to the owner, Steve, again a d told him I wanted some small diamond studs that sparkled like lasers. Within a week's time he called me back and said he spoke with his diamond person and rather than spending stupid money on more than what was needed for that affect, he guided me in to a more sensible result. Within another weeks time I have my lovely little sparkles!! Jewelry shopping can be so cold and intimidating which is so not what Steve and his team are. He actually listens to what you desire and makes it happen!! They are my bling team!!!

Was hit and miss for opening. Call before you go. Friendly, fast service!! I didn't purchase anything but my watch band was fixed perfectly.

Today is the 2nd time I have driven to Boudreau to find the business unexpectedly closed. I was called mid-week to notify me that my repair was done. It only took rwo weeks which was better than the previous repair which took 4 weeks. I told them I would be in Friday or Sat and was reminded they close at 2pm. Got there at 11:45 am and they are closed. They have a website but it never updates their schedule. The sign says they will open at 9 am Tuesday - normally they open 9:30am Tuesday as they are closed on Monday. I went to pick up an item May 28,2022. Sign on the window says closed Memorial Day (they are always closed on Monday) but they were closed and when I questioned them they said Oh, we meant Memorial Day weekend. As soon as I pick up my last item will not use their service again. Prices for appraisals are very high. They obviously don't appreciate my business cannot recommend them. I realize they had a break-in but customers should not get penalized. Could use some customer service lessons

I am new to the area and am getting married in April of this year. My grandmother gifted me her wedding ring so I could wear it for the wedding. I came to Boudreau Jewelers to have it cleaned, sized, and checked to make sure it didn't have any loose stones. I just picked it up today and not only is it beautiful but fits PERFECTLY! They even offered to clean my engagement ring for free. Thank you for your friendly and professional service! I am happy to know I can use Boudreau Jewelers for any future jewelry needs.

Steve and his team are the best, I bought a engagement ring and wedding set from them 13 years ago and have returned to have it cleaned by the experts at Boudreau since. They are absolute customer service professionals who provide great value to their long-term customers.

I have been shopping with Beadreau's for years and came across this other review when looking up the phone number to the store. The staff is amazingly friendly and fair. They have great pieces that you can't find any where else, not to mention the master jeweler they have on hand that can custom build anything to your liking. I have shopped here for many years and to anyone who is doubtful I would suggest to stop by and see how nice the people are that work there. Plus they are jewelry experts, not sure how long they have been in business but it has been at least 20-25 years.
