Prime VisitorVisitor center for the eponymous Wildlife Refuge and will be the main meeting area for the Festival of the Cranes classes and tours. The Good:*Visiting the VC is free, but to enter the park, it is currently $5 per vehicle. *Filtered water bottle refill station *Large, heated restrooms located in a separate building*Gift shop*Info booth *Some educational displays*Food truck/vendor area (I think this is just for the festival but not 100%)*Energy efficiency upgrades made recentlyThe Meh:*Not the biggest VC around, but it's probably sufficient for the 99% of the year when the Festival of Cranes isn't ongoing. *Meeting room for classes, but they're still operating an old skool projector for presentations. *No WiFi, but the cell reception was pretty good throughout the park. The Ugly:*According to their website, the landline telephone there works "intermittently." TLDR: Nice VC with basic--but necessary--amenities.
