Border Rock Shop

Little rock shop located in the small town of Lordsburg, NM right off the highway.My family has lived in this town for a long time and I learned there was a rock and crystal shop in town and I had to come see! There's rows and rows of crystals and rocks of all shapes, sizes and colors here! The crystals here are incredibly cheap! I could spend hours here looking at all the different things this shop offers. Verla is the shop owner and she is such a sweet woman! She is thinking about selling the shop soon so if you're in the area thinking about stopping in, you should!

Hands down the absolute best rock and mineral store that I have been to. I literally pulled a u-turn on the highway once I saw the side lot. The inside of the store is more tourist-friendly with individually priced pieces, but the outdoor area is where to go. Heaps upon heaps of rough specimens in crates and barrels where you PAY BY THE POUND, regardless of what it is. It was like wandering the stacks of the Library of Alexandria if it was comprised of rocks and minerals. Nothing is labeled out back, but Verla has a mind like a steel trap and can tell you what's what.

The Border Rock Shop is an oasis of beautiful crystals and the owner is a Gem She has been in the crystal business for 50 years. The prices are really good and she has an amazing collection. She even has big pieces outside for landscaping or that incredible interior alter. It was so much fun to find her place as I was traveling from El Paso to Scottsdale on Rt 10. I will be back !

Awesome little stop. We bought a bunch of rocks and Verla, the owner, was so sweet. You could spend hours going through all of the rocks in this shop. My wife bought a necklace and turquoise bracelet. We will definitely be back again.

One of the best stops to to check out in Lordsburg and on this side of the I-10. Verla is a sweetheart and one could spend serious time checking out all of the stones. WORTH THE TRIP.

I agree, 100%, with the above rating. This rock shop is great. It's easy to find ...just south of the railroad track. East Motel drive looks as though it is the "old Highway" I've been here three times in the last eight years. Wouldn't drive through without stopping! E.S. San Diego, CA

This shop is really cool and has a lot of interesting rocks and minerals and stuff. They also have western wear and some really pretty boots. There were some really nice chunks of sulfur I picked up and there'a just really a huge selection of all kinds of stuff. They have $2 grab bags for anyone who likes a mystery! The owner is very cool as well! Plus they have a really cute and nice dog!

That was a real nice shop, had lots and lots to choose from very good prices. The owner was very helpful nice woman. Would come through here again
